In January 2015 a new cannon was written in comic form between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. It ran for 75 issues, a bulk written by Jason Aaron. Then it stopped in favor of bridging the time between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It ran for 50 issues then suddenly book ended. It followed a confusing 12 part maxi-series that followed Return of the Jedi and then a new ongoing started with. Star Wars (2025) by Alex Segura picked up from there and apparently it is sopping only after 10 issues. I just found out when I was looking for solicits beyond #10 which releases next Wednesday. Are there are any information about if it was meant to be a follow-up limited series or poor sales got it canned? I was wondering if anyone else had been reading this series and also knew why it suddenly stopped. I have been reading the main title(s) only and have been since 2015's #1.
