View Full Version : What's the worst villain in the entire property?

I haven't seen/read everything, so it's possible the worst villain is from, let's say, Rise, IDW or The Next Mutation. I wouldn't know.
So my first thought... the family of hillbillies that fool Donatello and steal the Turtle Van from him in a season 5 or so episode in the Fred Wolf series. I mean, really? At least mad scientists make sense for villains, even if the characters themselves or the execution was not the best. But a family of hillbillies?

Jammerhead and Triple Threat really pissed me off with how annoying they were, there isn't much good to say about Flashforward in general though but those in particular annoyed me. The Street Phantoms in general were revised into somewhat more tolerable villains in IDW (even if they're forgotten), but I don't see anyone make anything of Triple Threat.
When it comes to the live-action movies, Sacks sucks pretty hard but when you remember that he's really just a character of his own because of reshoots, I can almost forgive it. Walker in TMNT III is really weak too, who had the brilliant idea of making some english tradesman the main villain of a TMNT movie?
The TNM villains are all terrible but I think Dr. Quease might be the worst.
I have made it no secret in the past that I really hate Tiger Claw but I have to admit that he can't actually be the single worst villain in the 2012 show, I still really think he sucks because you're clearly meant to think he's cool but for really shallow reasons and he's almost completely lacking in any real depth or consistency, it's very hard to care about him in the way that's intended and he may very well be the worst of the major characters. If I have to pick someone else who appears less, then Newtralizer, Snake-Weed and Sir Malachi are likely better candidates.
As for FW... Dear god... That's almost like trying to find the most rotten thing in a compost pile... Uh...
J. Gordon Hungerdunger?
Lafayette Le Drone?
Mung?
Polidorius?
Globfather?
Flying Turtlenecker Brothers?
Mister X?

Oh you mean lamest? The one true answer is Eric Sachs, but I’ll do one for each version.
Mirage: Dr. Dome
Fred Wolf: uhh… FW Slash is certainly disappointing. All the stupid ones are kind of in the “so bad, they’re good” category.
Archie: May East lol.
Next Mutation: I guess I’d day Bonesteel.
4kids: not really a villain, but I ****ing hated Gyoji. Touch and Go are annoying, but I did like that episode.
IDW: Hakk-R
2012: Tigerclaw no contest.
Rise: Hypnopotatmus was pretty lame.
MMverse: Bishop, just for what a horrible adaptation of the character that was.

Probably Gary Richardson.

The Hillibillies were funny, I liked them.
My least favourite was the Weasel Toy guy.

2003 Karai: Many of 2003 Leo's insufferable and foolish actions in this show was because of this character.
IDW Bishop: A poor imitation of the 2003 Bishop and 2012 Bishop. I don't understand why they would make him kill his own father? Just because of he is a madman and villain, doesn't mean he has to be a complete jerk.
The Last Ronin Hiroto: Similar issues to the IDW Bishop.

I have to go with Tattoo from the FW cartoon. He was a mutated hamster that didn't have one single hamster attribute. He just ended up being a random sumo wrestler with tattoos. I am also not a big fan of Pizza-face from the 2012 series. He is just a pizza that is a face. I can't even remember if there was an explanation of how he ended up that way. What a wasted opportunity when they could have used a villain that resembled the awesome Playmates action figure of Pizza-face like they did for Wyrm.

Not a straight out villian, but definitly an antagonist: Burne Thompson in the 8th season of the original cartoon!!! In the previous season it looked like he was finally coming around and accepting the Turtles as heroes, especially after the indicent with Baxter Stockman! Then Shredder blew up Channel 6 and Burne went all the way back to square one, hating the Turtles just for exisiting!

I'm pretty sure you've told me that before already. This sounds like deja vu.

Yeah, Burne and Vernon were complete dicks to the Turtles. They saved their sorry asses many many times and yet they think the Turtles are the bad guys?

- The Hillbillies who stole the Turtle Van.

I don't know if anything is inherently wrong with Galactose beyond the name. If I was writing an ongoing TMNT series I'd love to try and make Galactose really, really cool. And fearsome.

And he's really more like the Mirage universe's version of Nekron (as written by Alan Moore, not Geoff "Unemployed Now" Johns), not Galactus so much beyond the costume.

You shouldn't imply that he is "jobless". You should say that he is "unworked". At least that's what I think the Canadian NDP convention would want us to say (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWfQyMHDuFs/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==) with our equity card in-hand.

He's definitely up there. And to think he got 2 episodes and nearly got 3!

I actually like the first Garbageman episode. It’s silly and the plot rips off that one Batman: TAS episode, but it feels like a FW throwback. Also, the older I get the more I enjoy the filler stuff and get bored with the big plot-centric ones.
I barely remember the second one, but I know it was an even more ridiculous story.
Still wish “Nightmares Recycled” was finished.

Sure, one single filler episode was fine. But a 2nd one was not necessary. It was interesting to see Mikey and Don alone for most of the episode, though. As a kid playing with my Turtle toys, I often came up with scenarios like that. "What if there was an episode or two where only half the Turtles show up? Do all 4 TMNT need to be in EVERY single episode?"

Yeah I definitely appreciated that aspect. It’s lame that Mike and Don have not much to do in all the big stories, and the B team gets crap like Garbageman scraps though.

That's one of the flaws of 2k3. Leo clearly gets the most attention. Then Raph and Mikey combined. And then comes Don.
