Would you consider the Vacation in Europe episodes part of Season 4 or Season 7?

While these episodes took place during Season 4, they first aired during Season 7 (and are included in the Season 7 DVD sets).

I've always considered them Season 4 episodes, because their tone more closely matches that season, whereas Season 7 is noticeably darker. So this would technically make Season 4 the longest season, rather Season 3.

It's obviously part of Season 4 as that's when they were made. They have absolutely nothing to do with Season 7. That's just how long it took for the U.S. to air them.

Four, it's obviously four. I'm more confused about why it took two years after the rest of season four concluded to air these episodes.

They were probably exclusively made for Europeans since TMNT was probably there at the time, I don't think they ever intended them to air in the U.S.

4 for sure. This was super autistic, but I went so far as to customize my season 7 DVDs back I displayed all of my TMNT movies on a shelf.

I put the real season 7 discs in the cases of parts 1 and 2 and had them between seasons 6 and 8, naturally. Then I took the case for the Raph slice and marked out the “season” and “part 4” with red sharpie (the remaining “7” representing Volume 7), put both Euro Vacation discs in there and put it right before season 4. Which worked great since season 3’s final disc was “volume 6”, and included Plan Six from Outer Space.

I eventually quit doing that when the season 3 and 7 boxsets came out, but it was a clever fix for a while.
