Anchovies on pizza

Anyone actually like anchovies on pizza?

Of course the iconic scene where Michelangelo says “no anchovies “ in the movie, but I was also watching Season 2 episode 2 of the 87 cartoon. Shrinking turtles and Mikey actually says , “I won’t ever eat another anchovy pizza” when they are under attack from that giant fish. Implying he likes anchovies lol. Funny the movie changed it up

None the less I tried it once. Terrible. Curious what others think

I like them on Pizza and also use them for pasta sauces when I cook.

I should also point out that they are used in a Swedish Christmas dish, Janssons frestelse, albeit with a particular seasoning not that common outside of Sweden.

I almost quit eating Caesar dressing entirely after my ex girlfriend told me about it being made with anchovies. I hate all seafood. I eventually went back to eating Caesar again, I just try to supress the fact of it being made with anchovies my mind when I eat it.

It’s true. I think in our entire city here we have one place that offers it. Trifons pizza. Other than that, I don’t think there is a single pizza place here that offers it.

Anchovies are pretty common here too and I get them once in a while, I don't know why Americans have such a hateboner for them.

Ya that makes sense they are common in Italy. Here in Canada you are hard pressed to find a single pizza place that offers it

As strange as it is. Olives. I used to hate them, but love olives now. Black olives on pizza is unreal.

Also used to not like sushi, but I love a California roll now.

Incidentally, black olives and anchovies are one of the most common combinations here.
