BK and McDs will sell the toys seperatly, they're usually like a buck or so. I worked McGreasies and I had people coming in and buying LOTS of those damn mini beanie babies...ugh!!

Being a franchise, some may or may not sell you the toys, but all the ones I've been to will sell the toys-my son wants MORE food than those lame kid meals give so I'd get him a combo and buy the toy seperatly, and what is nice, he only collects ones he REALLY wants. So he had this healthy collection of Sonic toys...

I don't like Burger King. Everytime I eat there, my stomach is messed up for the rest of the night. The only thing I can eat without paying for it is the fries - which are excellent.

When it comes to burger joints, I prefer Wendy's. Though I prefer a pizza over a burger anyday.

ugh big macs....i hated making them. i could never get the damn things to stay together when i had dressed them. i am a McGreasie's refugee, it was my first job. I LOVED the chicken/filet station..i kicked @$$.

By the way, the majority of McDonald's beef are dairy cattle, read that in "Fast Food Nation", great book that tells all about our delightful fast food culture. It doesn't suprise me that it praises In N Out Burger for it's quality.

Hamburgers are American, we make the best burgers on earth. True, typical fast food burgers do suck. I've just mentioned one place that has the freshest and highest quality in food and they truely take care of their employees and actually pay them a decent wage, that's In N Out. Yeha I know I sound like an advert, but it's actually true. They invented the drive through concept. INO is so good, they have the simplest menu and don't need stupid toy promos and kiddie meals to stay in business. And their advertising is kept to a minimum.
The're not a franchise, still family owned and operated making it the best. Hundreds of INO trucks go out EVERY morning to deliver supplies and not one INO has a freezer. I never worked for them but I've seen it first hand. Go to their website www.in-n-out.com and you'll see.

That's what I've heard, too. But In N Out isn't a national chain. Being a newbie to CA, I hadn't had one until rather recently. It was good, but I don't think I eat enough burgers to decare it as the best.

Heh heh, while I've never tasted poop and I'm sure McD's burgers taste better than that... I will agree that McD's burgers aren't great but they are better than their fries! :P

This is a drag though... because even though I love BK food... Most of the BK's around my area have been shut down. I'll probably have to drive a long ways to find one to get these toys, but I guess I'll wait to see what they are.

I remember when TMNT first showed up at BK. I still have all four promotional videos and some of the weak sause toys... Ah memories...

If they do promotional tapes (especially second season) then I'll there! It doesn't matter how long it takes me to find a BK!

Lol...it was my first job too, personally I've never eaten a Big Mac in my life but I'm not sure I'd like it truthfully. It has got to be the sloppiest sandwich on the menu...of course nothing like the pics on the menu. My hands smelled so gross after working in the grill, what with all that pickle brine, onion, and stray sauces and grease that found their way on them. :dead:

But I love McDonald's or at least I can enjoy it well enough and I don't mind Burger King either...good stuff mostly. I think McDonald's fries beat BKs though....just my opinion. :D

As for the toys, I'll have to see if they're worth getting...

KFC is the best fast food chain ever. Their chicken burgers beat all other living and non living forms of fast food. But as for BK, I used to love their Whoppers but now they just make me sick. That being said, their onion rings are something to behold nonetheless - definately a culinary achievement in the field of fastfoodiology.

I don't get anything besides Salad for Dinner, But when we are partying or just celebrating something, then we usually get Cauliflower (Which BTW isn't a flower. Pretty weird huh)

Well, since we started talking about our favorite fast food chains, mine is Burgerville. Its a small Northwest chain and they have the best milkshakes! They offer Gardenburgers as well as hamburgers, and I think they may have turkeyburgers as well. Great stuff! :D

I'm in luck with Buger King... I used to work for them for five years, worked my way up to Assisant Manager. then ending up having to quit, i wont go into detail, but as for the new TMNT toys, this is sweet! I currently work for Pizza Hut (yes pizza!) and I still currently keep in contact with BK. I talk to the general manager, me and him are buddies, and I'm, going to do is trade Pizza, for BK kid's meals - since i get pizza free, and i can trade I'm gonna get free TMNT toys :evilgrin: Of Course It'll limited.

Kid Meals fill me up. I only eat fast food if the prize is good... But I lived vicariously through buying them seperately during the 2 Simpsons Halloween promotions! I'm going to go out RIGHT NOW and get one!

Yeah, I'd call ahead before you go to BK, too. I know, at least, in my area, they get the toys alot later than other places... My brother's friend works there, (and yes, I already have him on look out for me :D ) and he said it'd be better to call ahead.

My brother rocks! I've had a nasty cold all week, and he bought me a TMNT toy from Burger King! It's Raph and his bike. He went to a BK a few towns over, and they had them already, but the one close to us doesn't yet... odd. But still really cool of him. :)

The only thing I like about ol' Mc Donalds is./.. well... their toys are usually better. I remember the Monster Inc. promotion... you got a full sized action figure... I wish I got more of them... espeically the "Agreeable Snowman"

Glad it's not Wendy's... theyre'd be one plastic figure, on "Pinball" game and 2 different kinds of Paper products disguised as puzzles or board games....

I got Leo and Don so far, with plans to get the other three (there are only three more, right? I'm not hugely fond of BK's food... :ohwell: ) within the next week or so. Which means way more fast food than ANYone needs in a week, but oh well. it's worth it. I did the same thing when McD's came out with the Sonic The Hedgehog games. (Then again, I _like_ McD's food...)

To everyone complaining about the food:

Umm..you all do know you don't have to buy the kids meal to get the toy, right? If you ask, you can buy the toy for $.99...it's not unusual, there's even a choice on the automated computer the cashier uses for "Non Food Promotion"

There's no way in he11 I'd let anything from Burger King past my lips.

As for the toys themselves, I've got Raph, April, Leo...that's the order our restaurants are getting them in.
