Funny, but I find it weird that they say it's "the first" episode yet they reviewed the first two. Although it's not the first time I've seen this mistake. Since FHE's vhs that contained these episodes was called Heroes in a Half Shell and didn't show the real episode titles in any way a lot of people thought it to be 1 complete episode called Heroes in a Half Shell. Oh well, it was still a funny article, I like the joke about the beginning of Turtle Tracks about how they were chasing April to "stop wearing yellow already!" :lol:

It said that it was released as one Mega-episode. Perhaps he just reviewed that.

I've read all of X-Entertainments TMNT related reviews and all are hilarious, even the ones that slam the movies. I'd love to see their take on the new show.

X-Entertainment is such a cool site, those dudes rock. I've got it bookmarked in my favourites folder and visit often, especially if I need to smile.

I like this comment that they make:

"A bunch of goons wearing leather, army fatigues, and weird sunglasses confront her, but before they can ask for directions to the Rancid concert, she ducks into the sewer. (by means of literally slipping down a sewer drain - April's body must be made up entirely of cartilage)"

I remember in the Archie comic adaptation they had April mention to herself that the sewer drain was a tight squeeze and that she "must be putting on weight". I liked how in the comic they didn't make it seem so easy for her to get through, versus the cartoon where she slips through no problem.

Hahahahaha! That was hilarious! Especially the the line about Shredder being "The guy who framed Splinter back when he didn't sh** out round pellets!" That line had me laughing hysterically!

X-E is one of the best sites on the net I love it, and his TMNT articles all of them are great. I recently e-mailed Matt at X-E and he said he was going to be making alot of Articles about old school TMNT for the future.

Whoever's doing the TMNT reviews, he/she knows what they're talking about. I agree with them alot on this, such saying that the cartoon origin was loads more believable than the movie origin story. One quote i found funny in the article was:

"It's decided that April will hold off on any impulse reporting given that the Turtles can catch the real crooks. April's really wielding a lot of political power in this episode. I guess that's what happens when you pattern your outfits after Dick Tracy."

Does X-entertainment still do the episode downloads for Case of killer Pizzas and enter the fly? Is there reviews for them? I'd definetely like to see them do more reviews.

This comment in their review of the first movie cracks me up:

In the cartoon, Raphael was sassy. In the movie, Raphael was a tough-talkin' street thug who'd kill his own mother at the drop of a hat, yo. Raphael was beyond a shadow of a doubt the most agitated live-action giant Turtle I had ever encountered.

When the movie first came out, I was around 10. Prior to that, it'd been nothing but the old school 'toon for me. I remember sitting in the movie thinking to myself, "Why is Raphael being so meeeeeeean??? He was funny before..." (/whiney 10-year-old voice).

Lot's of fun stuff on that website. The sewer playset is another one of my fav write ups from there.

I read the review of that episode. It was good. I read an Ace Duck action figure quickie review on that website not to long ago. You guys should check it out.
