If any of you guys/gals were to write the fourth movie, who would be in it, the plot, and ending?

I would have to think about that for awhile, but the one thing I know I would have is the first April in it, have the costumes from the first movie and bring Casey back.

Bring back the original actors who played and voiced the turtles and splinter and get Elias to play Casey, Judith to play April and then worry about what to do. I'd end up focusing on Raph, maybe alot of Mikey too. It's kinda hard to give each guy a equal amount of screen time....

I'd add some different charaters for the TMNT to battle either Leatherhead or the Rat King, atleast something for the Mirage Fans.
Now sure who be good for the new role pf Casey Jones.

- Bring Casey back but give him something more to do than babysit some samuri people.
- Have the turtles in costumes pretty much the same as the first movie. Definitly not CGI!
- Aim it more at a mature audience (can still be relevent to kids though) and not have anything cheesey like the second movie.

Add Krang and the Technodrome - both of which should be CGIed for a better visual. A movie like that would definately involved a lot of explosions and would be a nice break from the medieval Japan oriented previous films. Plus, then we would at least get to see how Shredder and Krang met up.

Krang should be a puppet IMO, lol. Sounds bad, but I reckon it'd look much better.

Or the 4th movie could just be based off the 4th volome of the comics. You know where Splinter is dead and the turtles are real old.

well, i think it would be cool to watch the whole ''Turtles in space'' Thing like BigThew mentioned.
That'd be awesome

I think the forth movie should be base on a little of both the comics and the cartoon. Make sure u make shredder look bad ass as all hell. I think it should start over and have a few sequels. Also no cheesy stuff as posted before. Definatly alot of Casey Jones, I thought i have had is Casey should get his own movie.

-voice actors would be from the new series
-movie 1 costumes
-introdouce a new charcter either someone known like leatherhead, or a character from my imagination, which means.... either yoshi or Tanguu
-Soup up the lair, make it ultra awesome

Ooh, also have Splinter more like the first or second movie, not the third! I remember somebody saying something about him looking too mechanical in the third movie, and after watching it recently they were spot on!

I would give the turtles giantic vehicles that combine to form an awesome super robot and they use organic webshooters to fight against Rodan.

I would make it like the orginal movie, and add other tmnt comic book characters, with a Mortal Kombat story line, and thus Tournament Fighters.

-movie 1 costumes
Dude, I think there can be made much cooler costumes today, than 13 years or so ago!!!

I know my friend Nick Nitro online wrote an awesome TMNT 4 script which was based off of the Archie series' "Future Shark" Trilogy.

-Soup up the lair, make it ultra awesome - NO WAY..that'd suck. THey don't need gimicks. This ain't a cartoon.

Many people say he looked too mechanical, I know I did. He looked like a freakin DOG! If you watch closely, they reversed a shot of him speaking it was too obvious. it was like they played it forward then hit reverse.
They went cheap with that movie.

Elias, though he was perfect for Casey, couldn't possibly play Casey anymore. He's fat and bald now. Sorry, but in my book, Casey isn't a middle aged bald guy.

Gee, I wonder why... Could it be because they knew ahead of time it was going to suck but didn't care because they wanted to cash in on the last remains of a huge entertainment concept that was undergoing a slow decent into oblivion?

Most recent movie I know of that he's in is Collateral Damage. Bet he wishes he had his old Casey hair now, bless 'im.
I spotted a mistake (I think) in the first movie. At the very start when the credits are rolling and you see the shadows on the sewer wall, Donatello seems to be the shadow that jumps, but its Leonardo who pops out. Hmmm, lol.

even though they are going away from the old cartoon, and fred wolf films owns the rights to the old ver. i'd defenitely have krang bebop, rocksteady the shred head, and dimension X elements, but handle it in a darker tone, without making a fool of the movie... now i realize why bebop and rocksteady were never in the TMNT films, like TMNT 2, when that first trailer came out and they only hinted to two new evil mutants, i was in joy, but it just was those two numbskulls. and the design of the turtle costumes got worse as time went on for some reason, the original tmnt suits were great, but they were like 6 feet tall.
i'd hire shorter actors and just make the original costumes smaller in nature.

Actually the actors aren't that tall. Duh. They looks that way becasue of camera shots, for some reason they looked taller than they should have plus alot of the times they didn't stand beside people enough for us to get that heigh perspective. Yeah I know Donnie stood by April, I figure she ain't that tall. whatever

Ok heres my perfect TMNT Movie.
- 1st Movie Cast and Costume
- 'City at War' Story Plot
- Have this Movie Replace Third TMNT Movie
- Make the Movie a little More on the PG-13/R rated side
- No crappy CGI
- Jim Henson Company do all the Graphics and Costumes

I'd open it Rocky II style with a darker replay of the ending of the first movie (unfortunately, you might have to cut out Casey.. sorry guys, but I agree Elias's time as Casey is done). This is a quick, effective way of setting the tone and establishing the continuity of the movie. Get whoever did the score of the first movie to get some great music to play over this montage.
Then I'd make a movie version of Return to New York. I haven't seen the Toon Version of RTNY yet, but maybe that would be a good base to start from. I say this because you are almost certainly going to have Shredder in it. If there is a 5th movie, maybe no Shredder, but for a return after this long, you have to have the iconic nemesis.
All that can be said is have Peter Laird work with a good screenwriter (and by working with, I mean looking over his shoulder and providing suggestions) and ensure that a good director at the helm.Possibly Steve Barron again? There should definately be the classic turtle movie, but this would have to be darker... not dark like the punisher, but you should be able to take the fights seriously, not wtch two foot soldiers accidentally clonk each other in the head.
I would give it to Joe Dante (Gremlins, Small Soldiers, Looney Tunes: Back In Action). Seems like the perfect fit too me. And I'd tos it up between Peter David or Harlan Ellison to write the screenplay.

I'd like to see them do something with Stump Asteroid where they have to wear those funny costumes and wrestle Cryin' Houn. I bet that'd be a sight to see! Of coarse they'd have to meet Leatherhead in the sewers first!

Well... I would no doubt get Henson's Creature shop back on board with the TMNT uits... Much better than CGI....and see if Kevin Clash isn't too busy playing Elmo on Sesame Street to perform Splinter...
I would also love to See Turtles in Spae, but they blew the oppertunity in TMNT 2 for that story line (I blame Vanilla Ice!)
But I'd love to see a fully animated movie done by the same people who do the new show....

Obviously the production values would go back to the original film. As for the story, I would expand on Don's feelings that there was more behind the creation of the ooze and tie it into the other turtles they saw in the scrolls back in 17th century Japan...
As I said in another thread with this exact same topic and poll options that might be this thread but I'm not really sure and I'm kinda confused, I think they should do a live action movie with very realistic CG turtles and any other non human characters. Especially Splinter, since all he does in the other movies is sit on his ass. He's supposed to be more like Yoda: old and decrepit most of the time (though still able to walk), and then break into a session of kick-ass 101 when he has to. That's just my oppinion.
As for the story, I think they should tell more about the Shredder. :shredder:

Live action definitely, would love to see a PG-13/R rating on it too.
The 'City At War' arc would be fantastic as a movie, although, I'd kind of like to see Renet brought to film too. She would make an interesting addition.
Agree with the posts about Elias Koteas, looks way too different now to be Casey. But, I think Judith Hoag would still be a good candidate for April.

"City at War" I agree would be the best "Theme" with a return from the Shredder! I know they're gonna release the movie, but the way they're talking they're gonna retell the story. To me, they don't need to. The First/Second movies didin't follow the cartoon.
In my opinion on what they could do, would continue off with the second movie, but get into more detail about the first movie. The origin of Shredder, introduce Hun, Robotic Foot, Baxter Stockman - but use the "City at War" theme. I know Tatsu is not in the new cartoon, but themovies never follow the cartoon anyways, look at Spawn the Movie for example.

Thinking about it, the costumes should be as they were in the first movie but then switch to CGI for some of the action sequences, but only when necessary (kinda like Spider-Man). Use it as a last resort kinda thing.

I'd say they'd have to start the franchise from scratch. Start it off based around the first season of the series up until "The Shredder Strikes", minus all the Nano and Garbageman crap. it would be strictly mousers, Stockman, the Foot Clan and the Shredder. Shredder would be defeated by Splinter, but not killed. We'd get a glimpse of Shredder attempting to rise, but not fully risen.
TMNT 2 would be based between "The Shredder Strikes Back" and "Return to New York", but Stockman wouldn't show up in the fight. I don't think the Utroms should be involved either (they just wouldn't fit the story). TMNT 2 would end with Leo fatally wounding Shredder, or so it would seem.
The turtles should be live action, but there'd have to be some CGI in the action sequences, much like in Spider-Man. For a director, maybe Bryan Singer or Tim Burton. Not Joel Schumaker or Sam Raimi. I hate how they cheesed-up Batman and Spider-Man, respectively. New movie needs a darker tone closer to the new 'toon or early comics I've seen. NO KRANG OR OTHER ELEMENTS OF THE OLD 'TOON!! Those are my ideas. I've only seen a few issues of the original comic, that's why I'm using the new 'toon as reference material.

I think they should restart from scratch as either live-action or cel-animated!

Movie 3: City at War
