View Full Version : The Most $$$ You've Spent on a Fig...
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I was just curious.
Whats the most amount of money you've spent on any one figure? I thought about this after my most recent (and most expensive) purchase on one figure: I bought a MIB Giant Mutating Leo for $57 (after some helpful encouragement from some of you :P ) Before that, the most I had spent was $38 for a Hot Spot MOC and around $30 for a Japanese Leo MIB.
So let's hear it... :D

I spent 90 on the old poer rangers toys when I was 8. Got that money for my birthday. But I ended up trading it for TMNT stuff when I was 10.

well, let me tell you a story...
i had the Scratch figure, for those who don't know that's the most valuable of the tmnt toys. I stupidly sold it about two years ago, for about $50. and about a year ago, i began to regret my mistake. so, i had to buy another scratch figure, i payed $45 for one on ebay. so, toytaled together, including shipping and handling, and the original $5 purchase, i ended up losing about $3, but lemme tell you it's worth it.. and DO NOT sell any toys you dont want to, it's damaging in the long-run

Lol...I see the Toxic Avenger action figure...cool. I remember that show vaguely, I think that one in your photo is cool. I guess that show never really took off eh? I remember it back around 1991 then nothing else...never really became a fan. Now that I think about it, was it a ripoff of the whole mutant angle? I don't exactly remember the story to the show, just a bunch of weirdos fighting crime...

the first few episodes are on dvd
was a cartoon version of a rated R independed film
it was a huge mutant rip off but made by the same guys who did the turtles cartoon

Wow, I did not know they released them on DVD...must have been some kind of following, cult or something. I must look into the DVDs merely for interest purposes... :)

The most I've spent on a figure is probably $90 for a loose complete Scratch. I didn't think it would have gone up that high

that is one beautiful batman statue!! wow...
and i dug toxic avengers, sme pretty cool action figures,
kinda funny how they toned it down for kids since the original movies
they were based on were unrated for super violence, and sex.

I think I mentioned this somewhere before, but for me it would be 90+ dollars for an moc General Tragg with pop-up display. after that, probably 60 something for a mib japanese tmnt figure. I got my scratch by trading a bunch of moc starting lineups..
