the old turtles had the best cardbackings for the toys
it was cool how each one was different and unique to the character
i am sick of seeing today's figures with the same backing...werather it be the same turtle with the same backing
or the villains with the same backing
they didn't even change with waves
the yellow-ragne and green colors are gettin on my nerves
i want variation
the old ones were awesome
and filled with color...
thoughts?

What does it matter? It's the figure inside that means the most.

the new tmnt cards are awesome. more than anyone could ask for considering other crap you see on the toy shelves. for marketing purposes, they designed them really well. the packaging is the best i have ever seen.

Yeah, I collect MOC too, and I think they're totally radical (COOL)What's not to like about them. But it might be cool, if they put each character face for each fig. Like Splinter, casey or shredder, Instead of only the turtles. And maybe change, the faces of the turtles for each fig. Forexample: The Battle armor turtles, You could put some helmets on the turtles or something. But i still think they're cooler than the Vintage MOC's

Indeed the old figure cardbacks were awesome. The same goes for the vehicle boxes. It was awesome artwork compared to today's toys. There is none with today's toys.
Notice all the old toys back then had awesome artwork. I think the reason for today's lack of it is cost. Box Art has probably gotten more expensive than it once was. It's a shame, since we all miss it.

This version of the TMNT needs a more modern look like the new stuff. The old cards worked for that line, but that would never work with this one. They are very different cartoons.

The art on the old TMNT figures was cool, I liked it even back then.

New card backs for the figures would be very cool. At least a screen capture from the show of the figure being sold would make the cards a whole lot better.

if the new cardbacks were unique to each figure
they would be awesome

Exactly. I usually open the figs up, pose them and toss the Packaging.

I think you're right, the old cardbacks are awesome. They are the first thing I ever saw of tmnt. Although, I have to admit when I first saw the turtles in the store back in '87 or '88, I thought they were the bad guys.
I did like the art on the first few series of figures, but it seems like they got more careless with the art as the series went on, and eventually just changed it to that big ol "one card fits all" raph holding the figure. I hated that packaging at first, and still don't like it very much. It would be cool to see some of the later figures with old style packaging.

I just wish the new character bios where so in-depth as the old ones.
