Sorry to spam the forum with another thread tonight but this is bugging me...

For those of you that have seen or remember the episode The Maltese Hamster, did you like it? I thought it was hilarious....gangsters all over the place. But one thing really bugs me. There's a scene where a whole wall comes down on Don and he SURVIVES. He hobbles around for a few seconds and then he's perfectly fine. Now I know there's no way in hell they could've killed off one of the TMNT's or any character (I think there was only like, one character in the entire series that died...that alien dude from the Incredible Shrinking Turtles.) That scene makes me laugh but at the same time slightly annoys me.

Also out of all the episodes can anyone remember any others where one of the turtles or anyone got hurt. I remember one where April got poisoned and the TMNTs had to find some plant to cure her. Anythng others?

Just thought I'd mention it to see what other's think. :)

I saw that episode, Enter: The Fly it was, Baxter killed two Rock Solders during his escape from the technodrome. Out of all the old toon show I've seen all of season 1 and a few episodes from season 2 and 3. Sorry to repeat myself but as a young boy I had no interest in the turtles, but my friends were kind enough to invite me over to their place, there I saw three episodes, Adventures of Rhino Man, Leonardo is Missing, and Adventures in Turtle Sitting.

I seem to recall Bebop and Rocksteady sequeezing Vermon (I think) to see weither or not he had a wishbone, though.

I liked the Maltese Hamster episode. It was a throwback to the old Film Noirs, with a TMNT twist.

In "Get Shredder", Raphael gets hurt when some rubble hits him, but is pretty much better by the next scene.

Yeah, don't expect the old show to be all that realistic or accurate, but thats one of the good things about it I would argue.

Did he kill them? I always thought he just stunned them or injured them. I find it a little cheesy he aimed that well and neither one of the rock soldiers got off a shot, but Baxter had to escape for the story's purpose...

As for the alien dying in The Incredible Shrinking Turtles, I always thought that was one of the closest things to death I've seen so far in my re-watching of the series. And of course, he just vaporized..nothing gruesome or no body just lying there. Slickly done IMO...doesn't really annoy me personally.

Maltese Hamster is a good episode. It's good this feel of old classy 40's films, despite the modern weaponry and mutants. I don't know, could just be Donatello's narration and the rain. But all in all, good plot with a good twist at the end, cause you certainly don't expect it to end the way it does (kinda).
