EPISODE 2 IS DONE!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D only I can't get it on my webpage :( Geocities only allows you to upload from thier webpage, and you can only upload 5mb at a time :x I made Episode 2 diffrently from Episode 1, in that the synchronization is much better, only problem is, is that whenever I export it in flash player it comes all out of sync, but when I do it in quicktime video it works but is 20+ megabytes!!! :o :o So I tryed dropping the quality a lot and it comes a little below 5 megs but it looks awful :dead: So if anybody who knows flash can help me here it would be great but right now I'm in quite a pickle :(

Hmm... I don't know if anyone at the Technodrome has experience with flash. If not, you might wanna try e-mailing Turtles-Boy, since his website has a pretty cool opening flash movie. But I think he went on vacation for a few weeks... :(

Yeah...i had a pentium 1 233 mhz and it was pretty slow for what i wanted to use it which was mame, i could only get it working at full speed with the sound off, and some more 'heavy' games like tmnt 2 were too slow even with the sound off...but i was really happy to have my own pc nevetheless :D
Now the old pentium 1 has been upgraded to a pentium 3 and is in my dad's room and i got another pc which is a pentium 3 too...i dunno if i'll upgrade it in the future tho, since i mostly use it for watching movies and chat/surf the net :P

computers have gotten so much more powerful recently!! until 1998 all I had was a 33mhz Quadra 650, we got 333mhz a pc for 2 years and it of course crashed so much that we had to delete the hard disk!!! so we went back to macs and got an iMac DV, which has been working great!! :D

I hate computers most of the time! My little brother's computer killed 3 CD-ROMS & I had to buy the freakin replacements for my bro didn't have a bloody job yet!

Heh...i had an incident with the cd-rom drive too...
My friend...um, well he was not very careful with a neogeo roms cd i have...er, had :P and in the process of taking it in and out of the case the cd got a crack in the plastic part...i thought that since there was no data in that part nothing bad could happen, right?RIGHT GOD DAMN IT? Wrong! :P
The cd blew up inside the cd drive! :teek: it was a mess...good thing is i could get the broken cd pieces outta the drive and it now works fine.
Later that day i did a bit of researching and found out cracked cds can blow up inside the drives if they spin too fast and that could break your drive.
Good thing it was a neogeo roms cd and i had another one i bought not knowing it had most roms repeated, if it was a tmnt cd i'd have killed my friend :evilgrin: :wink:

when the CD is being read, it begins to spin real fast, see

well, if the CD has a crack in it, that excess speed can cause the crack to get bigger due to friction &/or air resistance, thus when the CD spins for so long & the CD isn't taken out, the crack will get so big that the air in the CD-ROM &/or the bottom of the CD will catch with the platform it is on & stop the CD from spinning. Well the CD-ROM will try to keep spinning the CD anyways & thus, the CD goes bye bye.

I had a buncha audio sync problems with the flash version, i thought it was only because it was still loading while playing, but in the updates you say it doesn't seems to keep in sync so i guess it's not only my problem :|
I also checked the spoilers...was that mortimer saying 'wth was that?'? :D
