Hi everyone,
Trying to find some information on a TPB by Mirage that I found today, very intrigued as it's a nice collection of some misc. stories that were done back in '88. The cover is here:

- and I was wondering:
Is it rare?
Is it worth any notable monetary value?
What's the story behind this?
I'm loving it - so I plan on keeping it no matter what - but I'd be happy to hear some more information on it, if at all possible.
TIA!
Nick

Looks really cool :D
LOL :P
Helps that you've gotten to see it personally, doesn't it? :P
I feel kind of guilty though, finding something this rare when I'm nowhere near as big a fan as so many of the people here are...
Guess I'll just have to bone up on my fandom :D I just hope I can get the rest of the series! Would still love any information anyone can give me on finding out info on this...

I've seen several of them on eBay lately. And I picked up a cheap one to give to one of my TMNT buddies. :)

I have it. It has some pretty cool short stories. Some of them are continuity and quite iteresting. There's one where the TMNT, Fugitoid, and the Utroms travel to the Utroms homeworld to capture a group of Tricerton warriors. There's also the first apperance of Complete Carnage and Radical (if you remember in Tales Vol. 1 #2 they already know who they are).

The story behind it: the book was a benefit for a Literacy Group. Funds from the book were donated to help fight illiteracy. (The first story in the book deals with Splinter encouraging a young bum to learn to read).
As a side note that's also why the book was a short run, and also why it has no comercial ISBN.
And the stories are great, collected from a very wide range of sources across multiple books besides TMNT.
