View Full Version : Looking for a specific issue of TMNT Adventures...

Okay, like the topic says, I'm looking for a certain issue of the aforementioned comic; that is, if anyone knows of it. In the story, April is interviewing the head of a research lab. She finishes, but gets suspicious, and discovers that the man she was talking to is in league with aliens. From here my memory blurs a little, but she and a female scientist are captured by the aliens, and subjected to a little experiment... with Mutagen, transforming her into a turtle, and the scientist into a squirrel. I haven't read this issue in so long, and it was one of the first comic books I ever read. In fact, it's one of the earlist things in my life I can remember. If anyone could help, I'd be in your debt more than I can express.

I sware that comic would make a great new episode! I mean, Donatello already has the hots for April, imagine how he'd react to discover the woman he admires most has become the same species he is!

How about this for a new episode... The turtles turn human? Like they did in the old tv series, but they can't copy how they turned human from that series to this one.

That would be a neat idea. Could be a Foot plot, making a virtual reality or dream trap where the Turtles appear to be, and always have been human. They must battle against their own desire for acceptance to escape from the trap, which of course will eventually kill them.
Jarrah: You know where to get this one? Why not PM me with the info too...I'd like to read it. I've got a lot of duplicate Turtles coming in, and if I don't try to sell 'em maybe Turtle April would make a good custom... :D But I'd have to see the comic to see what she looks like.

As much as I'd love to see that happen (just for fun), I doubt it ever would.

Sounds too much like a gargoyle ep where goliath woke up from being knocked out and he was human and married to elisa. his clan didn't know who he was it was kinda weird...since goliath was the reason the clan ended up in present day new york....maybe they could do that...one turtle...say don....dreams or something he is a human...and he is the only one that remembers his life as a TMNT...and he need their help to save his gf....April
Or....there was another gargyles ep where Puck, at the beckoning of Demona turned the city in to gargoyles and the gargoyles into humans...and they all fthought...at first... that they were always gargoyles/humans....i don't know if that'd work though...

I'm looking for some TMNT adventures my self....if anyone has them they r the young turtles isues....one where we learn the reason they went to multicolored bandanas...and a 2 parter about the boys getting their weapons....let me know if u got um...the issue or a scan of the issue that u can send via e-mail...u know a zip..oh well thanks

As much as I'd love to see that happen (just for fun), I doubt it ever would.
I've been writing a fanscript with the basic plotline, it's set in the new toon, maybe I'll send it to Laird when I finish writing it...

Don't bother sending it directly to him, he can't read it. Someone else tried and got that response. There are legal issues.

that issue is sold out through the official website so I would try ebay, comic book stores, or various online sources.
