hey
they were way to strict at handing them out, and there was no advertising for it either. Weird, i had to ask to get one, and i'm sure not many people know about it. Anyways, they wouldn't let me take 2, so i'm going to go back and hope i can get another, for karpo and nicko. We'll see if the person working there is nicer next time.

I know a few people managed to get several at once, so it differs store by store. I've pretty much seen everything on FOGU so I'm not even gonna bother.

yeah i dunno, i've been listening to the tmnt theme over and over, and i'm starting to like it. besides that, i really bought the fox box only for the mini comic. And plus it's just cool to have it on my tmnt shelf.
guess the tmnt just keep calling me back to this board. lol :lol:

Bummer... I decided to buy a Spider-Man poster while looking around TRU, so that's how I got one afterwards. But kids that weren't buying anything walked right into the store and helped themselves to a Fox Box. I guess the TRU you went to was a lot stricter than mine.

obviously it must have been strict because it's like 2 bucks worth of material in it and they are giving it for free. if they advertised about it, than millions more people would come to get it and toys r us would lose million of dollars.

I got mine without needing to buy anything. No video though, they said they were told to take them out. Probably threw them in the trash too (knowing how big corportations work). :(

Maybe your Toy's R Us didn't get the message to pull them out.
Why would I sue over not getting a free videotape? :) Besides, I heard there was nothing TMNT on it.

i was kidding sc. have a cow jeez. Anywho yeah i heard they recalled them just recently because of a picture in the kirby thing. I haven't watched it and could care less since there's no tmnt, but ur not the only one out there sc that didn't get it. I think they just recalled it right after i got it.

o btw i picked up another foxbox (without the video) and if you only want the mini comic karpo, does anyone want the cd or the actualy box itself?
That's odd, cause mine came with the video. Ill check up on that Kirby thing though, and there was TMNT in it. It had wallpaper, that sewer w/real turtles preview, bios, and other stuff like that.

LOL!! In the videogames, Kirby can inhale his enemies and eat them... And sometimes he gains their powers. Maybe it's this whole notion of eating enemies that got the video pulled out of the Fox Boxes.
