I don't know if anything about these have been posted or not. Has anyone on the Technodrome bought any of the TMNT statues they have been releasing. They have released Leo, Mike and Raph so far, and they are in the style of the original Mirage comic. Does anybody own these or have seen them in real life? How is the quality and detail?
I have the Leo statue and it just might be my favorite tmnt item that i own. The detail is fantastic, and the overall construction is just perfect imo...and they're heavy as well, which i personally think is a great thing. I plan on gettin the next 2 when i can...So yea, if you can afford, go for it!! :D

I have Leo and Mike; Raph has NOT been released yet. They're definately worth the money.

They are amazing. I bought LEo immediately and waited impaitiently for 6 months for Michelangelo. Now they are both on display ontop of my desk at work. Raph hasn't been released. He is listed in the current issue of Previews (the comic book ordering catelog) and I just placed my oder for him today at $126. If you want a cheaper alternative, Amazon had the Mike statue for $99. You can also order from Target.com which is where I got mine.
And if you are short on cash, Target has Michelangelo is available from their site for $75!

I bought my Mike from Target.com .. the only bummer is that you gotta pay a bit for shipping. But I had gift certificates, so I didn't care. :D

I have both the Leonardo and the Michelangelo. Paid $100 shipped or so each.
They are incredible and the pinnicle of my collection.
My only complaint is that there is a difference in the bases between the two. Leo's has an extra texture that isnt seen in Mikes. I will post pics when I get some time.
Raph is due out by April according to the new previews magazine I believe.
I would suspect we will see prototypes of Don around Raph's release and the actual figure by christmas.

Yeah.. Leo is cool! I won him when Dan Berger had that quiz contest during Christmas. :D
I'd post some pictures I took of him, but my website server is being harfy today. :dead: Leo's sturdy, the detail is great, and the sword he holds also unscrews so that one can be removed from the hands for transport. You also have to screw him onto his base too.
The underside of the of the base is also signed by Peter Laird (in silver).

Here are the differences I was talking about with the statue bases...
Leo's

and Mikey's

My only complain...otherwise they rock.
It also appears as if Raphael's will match Mikey's base :D

I can't believe it was YOU who won the contest! Why didn't you tell us...or atleast i think you didn't. Congratulations though, even though it was me who should have won.

I really really want to get these statues, but they're pretty pricey for my current financial state. They, along with a mint condition copy of TMNT#1 or my current grails.
