Whitewolf89

Hey, everyone. Since I'm new here (just joined today), I just thought I'd say "hi", and kinda introduce myself.
I'm a Ninja Turtle fan from way back, having begun by reading the original black-and-white series from Mirage Studios when it originally came out in the late 80s. I love to write fanfics, although I'm just now starting to write them about the Green Teens (having been mostly into the Biker Mice From Mars and the SWAT Kats up until somebody got smart and decided that a new Turtles TV series would be a good idea), drawing them (been at that longer than I've been writing about them...shame on me for being so slow with the fics), watching the TMNT cartoons (both old AND new series. But I never really got to see the live-action series, "The Next Mutation", very much. It looked really neat and promising, though, IMHO.......), and just generally enjoying life.
My char out there on the Web is a Martian Mouse, female, and a trained Freedom Fighter AND Martian Ninja (yes, they have ninjas on Mars....or at least they do in MY twisted little imagination!), who shares my Web-nick, just with the "89" dropped off of it. Her chosen weapons are the sword, the sais, assorted shuriken, and of course, the obligitory Martian blaster. I have a fanfic in the works where she, Whitewolf ("Wolf", for short) takes an unexpected trip from Chicago (where she currently lives) to the Big Apple (curtesy of a Plutarkian transport-beam), and winds up running into the Turtles. I'm not going to give EVERYTHING away, but she runs slightly afoul of Leonardo from the git-go (he doesn't like guns of ANY kind), but gets kinda attached to Raphael, who..............
Aw, heck, that would be telling and I haven't even gotten this thing out of the basic planning-and-plotting-stages yet. So y'all will just have to wait til I get a bit further along with it and try to get it up on FanFiction.net (I don't have my OWN Website.....YET, anyway!)
Well, that's basically all that I can think of for now. But I do hope to have my OWN avatar up here soon. I picked one of Donnie for my temporary one, but I hope to have my Whitewolf one up soon....er, as soon as I can find a reliable place to host it. Anybody around here have any suggestions as to where I can find a reliable host that I CAN use? :-? VillagePhotos.com just ain't cuttin' it, where my avatar for my EZBoards groups is concerned. I hope y'all can help me with it.
Anywho, bye 4 now, y'all. I hope to be a frequent visitor, AND poster, here. Peace.
