When they came out with the movie figures, they were styled after the second movie. I wish they would've made them for the first movie, including Casey and Shredder. I know this is a pipe dream, but if NECA or Art Asylum picked up the rights to the first movie, they could make them look pretty friggin good and close to the actual source material.

actually the movie figs kinda sucked, they had a weird texture and didnt have enough individuality..hell they didn't even include Raph's scar on his figure! someone didn't look close enough at him.

Ah, but I love the movie figures! It's so fun to disassemble them and reassemble them with all the limbs and head in the wrong sockets. :D :D :D

Huh, I guess I didn't look close enough at him either, because I don't remember seeing a scar on Raph's face. I'm a big fan of the movie figures, though -- I kinda like that texture they have to them (wasn't that one of their selling points? real reptillian rubber feel or something?) and I remember really loving their belts. And the fact that you could easily pop off their limbs and heads.

A movie I Shredder would be awesome, though...I liked him so much that I decked out my original Shredder figure in a bunch of sparkly red cloth to try and imitate the look. :)

I still kinda dug the movie star figures...I thought they were neat and I like the rubbery texture their skin has. Recently I found another fun thing to do with them because their limbs are so flexible. I would put the hands on the leg socks and so on...I know, stupid fun but oh well. :P

The only movie figure I never had was Donatello... :(

I didn't however get the third movie figures tho...I was kinda out of TMNT for a phase then.

I didn't like how they gave them colored pads and different colored skin tones.. I liked the rubbery skin though. And the belts are nice, 'cept they only gave Leo one strap facing the wrong direction. If you look at the heads, though.. It looks like they sculpted them after certain turtles, but just got the mask colors wrong.. Because in my opinion, Mike looks like movie 1 Raph, and Leo looks like Movie 1 Don, Raph looks like movie 1 Mike, and Don looks like Movie 1 Leo.

I know this is gonna sound blah, but I loved the new plastic/rubber smell a new Turtle has when you pull it out of the package...I remember the movie star ones had a cool rubbery odor fresh out of the package.

go watch the movie or look at a pic of him, he has a little scar on his left cheek..yeah I'm THAT much of a Raph nut to notice every little detail... okay...I watch the movie pretty often, so I'll keep an eye out for it. (Edit: Yeah, I definitely see it. You're good to catch that, lol. Was it in II?)

Because in my opinion, Mike looks like movie 1 Raph, and Leo looks like Movie 1 Don, Raph looks like movie 1 Mike, and Don looks like Movie 1 Leo.You think? Interesting...I've never noticed this either. The movie Mike figure was actually my favorite because I thought he looked so much like the one in the films...he's just so cute! You might be right about the Raph, though; the figure definitely doesn't look as tough as he did in the films. And with the Leo looking like Don observation, just glancing at the figs now (they're always on hand :)) I totally agree -- Don was the ugly one with the prominent stalagmite teeth, not Leo. Except in III, where they all had them up-front and center... Ugh.

Ahh ya replied before i put up a picture hehe...oh well
All 3 movies he had the scar. Just one of those tiny details I liked. I made up a stupid story how he got it, he either accidentally poked himself with his sai or Leo sliced him when they were kids...oops! it was an accident! heheh

It'd be neat to see some Todd McFarlane TMNT figures. Very gritty and dark looking.

McFarlane....again...I see where this is going. The same spot all the other "They should make McFarlane Turtles" topics/convos/etc.

Those existed before? So sue me for being new and not knowing such a thing was brought up before.

Those movie turtles were odd, I had one of them but I can't remember which one. The new rubber they were made of gave me cravings to chew on them. I wanted a Movie II Shredder figure so bad. Not the Super Shredder, the one before that, the purple looked better than the red and the new helmet was so awesome. I guess a movie I Shredder wouldn't hurt.

Well, like i said, I'm that obsessed to noticed everything. I remember noting it when I first saw the movie in theatres.
I sometimes use this pic for a desktop, it's great cause he's on one side and the icons are on the other.
