So I was in my figure drawing class, and since our model bailed on us, we were outside, enjoying the nice spring-ish weather and drawing the random people who were hanging out in the college courtyard. My friends and I were sketching the skateboarders and hacky-sackers, when we noticed the one of the skater guys had Mikey board. As he glided by, i couldn't resist yelling "Dude!! Ninja Turtles kick ass!!" He smiled and did a few tricks for us.
Later, he and his friends were talking and one of the guys asked if there were skateboards w/ all 4 TMNT on them. Mikey-Boarder-guy said, "No, it sucks, they don't have all 4 on a board." I piped up and told him, yes, they did, but only @ Media Play. I told him the details on price and which mall the store was at and he seemed very happy to hear it <^_^>
Just thought ya'll'd like to know that TMNt are alive and well in the hearts of the skater kids of Holyoke Community College <^_^>

That's actually not so surprising. When you think about it college students are typically the ones that grew up on the original TMNT cartoon.

And, the new TMNT boards are surprisingly well made.

I know! There are a number of old TMNT fans i've encountered at college. I've even, hard to believe this one(!), met a few guys b/c of TMNT conversations, wow! Thanks TMNT!

I have encountered college students in Colorado that are fans of TMNT but they did not know that there was a new cartoon.

Thats awesome. I wouldn't think ninja turtle skateboards were the best made for people to actually skate on, but I guess I was wrong. I have seen the boards with all 4 at toy works where I used to work also though. Thats cool, there are a LOT of tmnt fans.
I was at the arcade some weekends ago and there are a lot of people wearing TMNT gear. Shirts, jackets, hoodies and such. I usually start up a conversation with them. They usually are casual fans of the old cartoon. They used to watch it but they aren't too big into it now. The people I talked to about TMNT were glad to hear that there is a dvd coming out soon. :)

I knew how to skateboard..otherwise I would buy a TMNT one! I'd bust my head open if I tried boarding right now!

Ah, yes, I'd bust my head open, break my tailbone, rip off most of my skin from friction, and just about break every other one of the 206 bones in my body...
Full body cast here I come!

I've seen a TMNT scooter recently. Not a gas/electric powered one. It was basically a skateboard with handlebars.
