I know the logo that we're using now is over 3½ years old, but it's small in file size (which saves bandwidth) and physical size (which makes it less distracting), and there's no real point in replacing it now when the forums are already going to be redesigned soon for the upgrade. Still, post it here and I'll take a look...

Awesome. I'm headed to schooll in about a half hour so I'll start it when I get back. But I use Photoshop, so I have the size-shrinking "save for web" command at my disposal.

...Besides, it's probabl going to be a gif anyway, which are tiny as it is.

How long is "soon" ?It depends on when the phpBB group releases version 2.2. Right now, they're on milestone 2 of 4, and after that will be a few betas (which is when a public test board will be put up), then the final 2.2 (which is when we'll upgrade).

It looks a bit odd on the site because the right picture seems to be 'cut-off' because it's just a straight-edge.

But the actual picture is really great. :)

I can fade it out of the cutoff is really bothering you that much...is it bothering anyone else?

Edit: And Krang, when the board revision comes around, I can either tweak the image I made to match the new board, or come up with a completely different design.
