Favorite TMNT Comic Book Issue?

I'm just wondering what everyone's favorite issue is from any of the comics (Mirage, Image, Archies). I just bought TMNT # 17 from the original run, and I've gotta say that it's become one of my favorite issues. It stars my fave turtle and it has a really cool plot. Of course, the ending was totally unexpected, but it made me love the comic even more. Good stuff. I recommend it, especially to Mikey fans. ;)

I really enjoyed the Raphael one-shot as well. He and Casey are so funny throughout their fight.

My favorite Archies issue is the one where the Turtles and Leatherhead have to wrestle the four-armed dude and Ace Duck (yes! he's so much cooler than Howard the Duck :razz: ). I forgot what number it is...

I don't have a favorite from the Image universe. I only have three (#2, #3, and the Savage Dragon X-over), so I can't really choose one as a favorite. :goofygri:

I love my Archies...Blind siht, the Early years, and the ones with Splinter in his samurai outfit. :D

BTW, i was just looking at the NEW comics section here on the drome, and was wondering if ANYONE knows the story of Archies # 58!? It says the early years, and if i'm not mistaken that's the one i've been searching for for eons....

That and 61...I'd love to see the reunion scene...

My favorite tmnt comic...hmmm...well i don't really know, i haven't readed em all, but from the ones i've readed so far, the one i like the most is the raphael one shot microseries!

Jaguar was a great character, His origin is quite unusual, the fact his mother got it on with a jaguar spirit which resulted in her giving birth to Jaguar.

huh... from Mirage, those that I've read at any rate, its a close call between 37 and 43.

37 was "Twilight of the Ring", and 43 is "Halls of Lost Legends" both great stand alone stories I recommend!

Ive never read them, but the mirage three parter with the drawings by Michael Zulli #31, 35, and 36....I love the art. Its breathtaking...

I found the pics of the guys strange, but fascinating. Splinter kinda lookes like a cross between a wildcat and a bat....you can find more pics on the official site.

[Ninja Turtles Cartoon Fan]

Okay, I confess. I HAVE read a few of the Ninja Turtles comics. Would you believe it? :o I can't believe it, either!

My favorite comics were from the Archie series. I only read a couple of them, both of which I own. It's those Archie comics that come with the cassette tapes? The first comic features the first five episodes from the cartoon series and comes with a yellow cassette tape. It's like a super-comic or something.

The second super-comic features the first episode of the second season and comes with a green cassette tape. I thought both of those comics were good, if only because they went along with the cartoon. 8)

I also liked Archie comics number 71 and 72. I only had the chance to thumb through them, but I always wanted to read them. Those are the ones where the Turtles are kids. :P

I have those! :D I want the one from the issue just before the Blindsight series. Mike was in the Gov. prison, reminiscing about his childhood, and it involved the guys cheating on some tests, but Splinter gets them all in the end... :D

The only other Ninja Turtles comic book I remember is the one my piano teacher had at her house. When I was waiting for my lesson, I would always pick up that comic and read it. She had tons of comics.

It was Archie issue number 12, the one where Krang's head mounts Shredder's body, Bebop and Rocksteady go off to live on some alien planet animal kingdom, and Raphael gets his butt kicked by Slash.

Yeah toon fan you should read a bunch of mirage some of them are pretty good...i think you can read the first one at the official tmnt site, and buy them at milehighcomics.com

I'd love to read Mirage # 43, Hall of Lost Legends. I've heard a lot of good things about that particular issue.

This is the best Issue i have read so far! The battle on the roof with Foot...
The art is Really good and the Battles... :D I love it! I just got this Incredible feeling after reading it that i just had to post. I must say this is my favorite issue right now! Of course issue #5 could be next.

And i have been thinking about those reviews. If someone would make a poll about if i should start writing them or not, I would know how many people would be intrested(I would make one my self, but im not sure i would got it right).
