Starting to take questions for the actor/voice actor of Raphael, in the first TMNT movie. Check out imdb.com and see his other works in case you have a question for those movies as well. I think he was also in the lion king..
Thanks

I have a question:
Did you ever try out for any of the other turtles before you got the role of Raphael?
Thanks a lot Shredder! :)

1)Did you read the comics to get a feel for the characters?
2)Were you a fan of TMNT before you did the movie? Are you a fan now?
3)Did you get the part you wanted?

Oh god what would I ask Josh, I love his Raphael. I hope he doesn't regret playing him, some actors might look on this as a worthless kiddie crap role. Not to me, he was totally brilliant. I can't think of any other way to imagine Raph if he were a real live walking talking turtle. He probably would be floored if he knew how important the character is to me. It's his portrayal of Raph that made me a TMNT fan.
I wonder if given the chance, would you revise your role as Raph?
It's alot of pain and suffering but that's part of the art of acting.
The other thing I want to know.....
Did Rino Thunder get a new place to live or how is he? (he'd know what I'm talking about, referencing his film 7th Street) PLEASE ask him! PLEASE! I want to know what happened to Rino!
(If anyone wants to know what the hec I'm talking about, go watch 7th Street. Josh made this movie spanning almost 10 years of his life on 7th St. in the lower east side of NY. Lots of background on him as a kid and what it was like growing up there. His life was even threatened by the drug lords when he filmed it. It's interesting. He had a couple neat pics him as Raph outside a stage in it. It's sometimes on the Sundance channel. You can also get the DVD..like I'm gonna...um, one of these days.
Oh yeah, I thought it would be funny...
Does your son like TMNT?
I thought it would be ironic if he did! (my son LOVES them!)
Those are three things I would like to know!
So when's the Q&A session? Hey get him in a chat room! haha! :D
