Brand New Re-Releases with DVDs!!!

Just saw on ninjaturtles.com that there are 4 new re-releases of the basic 4 turtles... with DVDs. Granted, they're episodes that are already on DVD... and they're

While the card backs are exactly the same as the 2003 releases (featuring the 4 Turtles, Splinter, Shredder, and the Foot Soldier), the front has an enlarged bubble with a sticker advertising the show on FoxBox (Weekends on the FoxBox), another proclaiming "Now on Cartoon Newtwork", and a special insert with "Total Turtles TV Episode - Bonus DVD Inside" on it. The Turtles themselves are packaged in action poses as before (Raph hasn't gotten back the hook rope for his Glider and Don still has only 1 Bo... though I never understood why he needed 2 anyway... he NEVER used 2)

It's a shame, however, that only 2 eps have been packaged here. It's no surprise they're eps already available on DVD, but an ep. that showcased each turtle would've been better... like "Tales of Leo" for Leonardo, "The King" for Donatello, "The Unconvincing Turtle Titan" for Mikey and "Meet Casey Jones" for Raph (or something like these picks... I know that just about all of them actually have original characters that either have or are being made as figures already)

This has already been posted, in the News section of the forums. Note that these are packaged mockups of the final product. The DVD's for Donatello and Michelangelo will likely change. If you'll notice, the DVD sleeves are Blue and Red. And match up to the ones in Leonardo and Raphael. The final released version, will likely have different episodes included with Donny and Mikey. In purple and orange, of course. :)

Mmmmrrrr... I dunno... I alreay have the basic Turtles and I don't really want these DVDs, if I can get them for 12.00 at Target. But to anyone who was patient enough to wait for these, I'd buy them all up right now!

I found these tonight!!!

There's a whole bunch of different figures that have been packed with a DVD! First of all, all of the figures I saw were packaged with "Darkness on the Edge of Town."

The figures I saw packaged with the DVD were: Regular Mike, Regular, Raph, Extreme Sports Raph, Fighting Gear Leo, Casey Jones, Turtle Titan, and Leatherhead!!!

I wonder if Leatherhead will even be available without the DVD?

The one bummer is the "tail-lashing action." You can see the knob in the second pic. Why can't toy companies learn that we don't like that?

All the packaging is in pieces... but it's just like the pictures that were posted on ninjaturtles.com.

It's not too odd that all the DVDs are the same. If there were too many different episodes available people wouldn't have a reason to buy the DVDs. This case was obviously all "Darkness..." DVDs. I bet there'll be another case with all "Garbageman" DVDs.

It looks like the figures have a specific episode. There was a pic posted on RTM this morning (and cross posted to the toy siting thread here) showing several of the figures and the ones I bought today all have the same for each figure as what was posted. Though a running change could always be possible.

Wow I hit the motherload tonight!
Walmart musta got them in tonight because I went to the toy isle and found a bunch with the DVD... I found what I was looking for, the Toddlers, some of the original Turtles with DVD, they even had Hun and Leatherhead so I grabbed those
I went all away around the store looking for my mom and when i got back around i notice an isle-end thing (similar to that pic posted above) with a TON more... I sorted through and eventually went home with

all original 4 turtles
foot tech ninja
2 x armor shredder
toddler turtles

I might go back soon for Leatherhead and maybe Hun
I was a lil disappointed that only Raph and Mike came with the red one.. some of the other figures had the red ones but not the ones I got...
They had almost every figure there including the nanotech monster, most of the new wave etc... but i dont want those
maybe turtlebot and leatherhead but thats it

it seemed like most had the blue dvd the Garbageman

btw I love the packaging, the dvd makes the thing look so much cooler and more colorful
