There used to be a TMNT Mush, but it closed back in February. Recently I've been building a muck to start RP and to take TMNT Mush's place.

The 2003 cartoon will be the primary model, though the comics will be heavily used, and some of the 80's series and movies can be used so long as it doesn't conflict with the 2003 cartoon's world'n characters.

I don't know how well you folks know mucks, mushes, and the like. I can help you to get there if you'd be interested.

Generally, how it'll work is this. Staff there will help the muck run in terms of story by introducing the occasional plot, or building off of existing RP. From there, the players' characters will interact with each other, and so the plot continues. Quite possible to have multiple plots at a time if there's enough characters and interest.

To get a character there you need to apply (type 'news' when you get on to see the application and important info on the muck), and then the application needs to be approved. It's basically to make sure folks who pick a character know about them and can play them well enough. We've all hit the occasional RP where someone's just not RPing a character like they should be.

Here's the info on where to go.

24.240.73.253 port 2003

If you need a client to view it, I'd recommend SimpleMU (can be obtained from tucows.com).

The first RP session's going to be tomorrow, but I'm hoping to get more folks to truly get RP going. Right now we have about 7 interested and playing (we've a Splinter, Casey Jones, Raphael, Donatello, Rat King, and an original character or two <yeah, we allow those!>).

Any questions, feel free to ask away!

Think I'll pass on this one.

The new 'toon, while fun and amusing, is not my cup of tea when it comes to roleplaying these characters. I would only consider roleplaying the TMNT in a Mirage or Archie setting, due to them being the only settings in which the characters were portrayed with any real depth and intrigue.

Thanks. But, no thanks.
