Well, at least they recognize the truly brilliant cheesiness (or is it cheesy brillance?) of the original theme song. It's a shining example of everything the '80s stood for.

Don't let it get to you. 1/2 the staff writers of IGN are idiots.

I remember their reviews of Beast Wars and Beast Machines, believing they were the characters from the original series without ever having even watched the show.

Hrmm.. yeah, that's the problem with some of these fandom news hounds. Sometimes you have to wait until the rumor is confirmed untl you can believe it 100%.

At least they got the lyrics to the old cartoon theme song right!

Spiderman been around way longer than tmnt and its still popular. So TMNT might end up the same way.

Well, spiderman has always been popular... But i hope that tmnt will become popular again too... What im waiting more than the new cartoon is the new tv-mini series that someone mentioned in an interview...

Thanks for the info. regarding IGN. I don't visit that site often, so I don't know much about it.

I'm looking forward to that mini-series as well! So far, I think it's still a go. Rumor has it that it'll air on the Hallmark channel, and it will combine CGI turtles with live action. We probaby won't see this series until after the cartoon debuts...

Can someone please if they have screen shots for the GBA and GCN TMNT games..POST THEM??? I'm getting rather irrated with the way they don't bother to show screen shots of some new games untill the day they are released (such is the way "He-Man: The Power Of Greyskull" is seamingly being handled)...

Spiderman been around way longer than tmnt and its still popular. So TMNT might end up the same way.But you see, Spiderman (ugh!) was created by a major comic company, whereas TMNT is more like what an independent film would be...at least that's the best analogy I can think of at the moment.

Ya no kidding. Then there was the time that they announced there was a contrast dial for the GBA hidden behind it's barcode sticker. They told everyone they can just adjust the screw behind the sticker and their GBA screens would become brighter. Turns out it was the voltage regulator for the LCD screen and a couple of people's GBA's stopped working after they messed with the screw :lol:

IGN is full of dorks :P
