Action-figure.com released an article of the concept drawings for the upcoming scuba gear line. Interesting comments from Playmates.

those look alot better then i would have initially though.

I figured they would look a lot like the space hoppin varients.

I like the fact that their arms are normal...hopefully they wont have the jointed hand as its not mentioned.

This looks like a pretty good turtle varient, I wonder if we'll get varient turtles that have those backpacks from return to the underground?

well, damn straight most collectors won't like this line... most collectors, from what i know, would rather have diffrent characters instead of the same characters in various stuits. then again, there IS the barbie line... lol.

these dont look all that bad though, and it looks as if they're gonna come with little sea creatures too... that just sold at least one of them to me (pry mikey... who knows though).

This prompted a long discussion regarding amphibians and how if the Turtles wanted to stay underwater for a long period of time, scuba gear could be necessary.
  :P

Seriously give us turtles in trench coats & hats and samurai/shogun turtles already! So far the only variants I have liked are the upcoming Ninja Action updates...that's not to say I'm bothered by the amount of the green dudes, no skin off my back as long as they don't go wacky sports action and fire fighting turtles

Those are easily my favorite turtle variants thus far.

Actually, I don't mind turtle variants anymore. These should turn out okay as long as they don't have ridiculously ugly color combinations. The animals that come with them makes me laugh though. These are great. I'm looking forward to the other articles that action-figure.com hinted at.

I like them too, a lot better than the Xtreme Sports Turtles at least. They don't look too far out there either, so who knows, maybe this is what they'll actually look like on next weeks episode. If so, I'll buy all 4. If not, I still might get them, because of the sea creature pack-ins and the overall look being pretty good.

those are nice I wish we would get to see some more of those concept drawings...so is anyone else wondering if the octopus that comes with raph is the same one that came with deap sea diver leo from the old line I hope it isnt but that'd be funny....I usually dislike tmnt varients but these are nice and the animals they come with have sold me to this set lmao like I'd not buy them anyways.

 Haha, I know. I can't help but buy everything. I mean, I still bought 2 sets of Extreme Sports Turtles. That says a lot doesn't it?

.....Do turtles really need scuba gear?
yes I think so because real turtles well the pet store kind can't stay under water for long periods of time have you ever seen one living under water?
I used to have 5 pet turtles as a kid I'm sure you can guess there names lol the 5th being slash.
they all loved to bask in the sun and lay on rocks more so then swim and stay in the water but they did like to go for a dip in the pool every once in awhile.
