yeah, funny story, actually

I just recently discovered that my old NES still works. All it needed was a new plug. So of course, my first reaction was "Yay!" and out came the box of old NES games from the burried pits of my closet. To celebrate my newly retored NES, I decided to feed my TMNT obsession with, dun Dun DUN, TMNT games! I got all 3 for the NES, and I haven't played them since I was a little girl, and, well, I hate to say it, but I've never been able to beat it untill now. What was once sooooo hard for me to beat was... no longer a real challenge. It was quite amusing, actually.

Well, 2 hours and a blistered thumb later, I owned it! Whooooo!!!

Now, I gotta take care of the first TMNT game, and The Manhatan Project. Wish me luck!!! XD

well, TMNT3 is very easy... way easier than TMNT2, but I'll wish you tons of luck on TMNT1. I own it and still can't get out of level 3....

I think Manhatten Project was hard. I couldn't beat it. Once I get a whole lotta money I'm buying TMNT 2. :)

I only beat TMNT3 once as a kid, and even drew pictures of the ending in my 8-year old drawing style to keep reference. Now I reguarly beat it in an hour.

That credits music is WORTH it, though.

My cousin and tryed to be TMNT 3 one night. We got to the final level but we couldn't cut it against Shredder. We haven't tried since... We'll beat it some day.

TMNT 1... I'll never beat. I don't think it's in my destiny or something because I wasn't even able to beat it emulated and cheating. They say cheaters never prosper and they are right... I got to the next to last area and the game glitched out. Curses! Now I'll never see the ending.

TMNT 2 is pretty easy, but it is harder than 4 and the Hyper Stone Hiest.

TMNT 2 was easier than TMNT 3 for me.

Please, does anyone know how can I enter on the options mode in TMNT 3?

In TMNT 1, I beat it with the Game Genie once.

After that last hallway at the bottom to the Technodrome there's a door that leads to the Shredder. He can attack you physically and he also has the Retromutagen Ray Gun that shoots in a manner similar to Bebop's gun in TMNT 2. If you get zapped, you lose a Turtle because, of course, he's now a normal Turtle. Even an infinite health cheat can't get out of that.

My tip is to stock up on Scrolls found in the buildings at the Foot base and use them on the Shredder. Upon defeating him, he does this weird thing that ooks like he's melting or something ala Wicked Witch of the West. Your chosen Turtle's mask turns red and he jumps up off the screen.

Then it goes to a black background, the music from the title screen playing, with a mugshot of Splinter turning back into Hamato Yoshi (which I am guessing is because you got the Retromutagen Ray Gun from Shredder or something upon beating him). He then thanks you (the Turtles). The mugshot of Splinter goes away and black text saying something along the lines of "The Turtles' Adventures will Conclude." as if to hint at the sequel (TMNT 2) we all know and love.

Actually, since it was so long ago, I kinda got the ending wrong. You can see screenshots at http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/nes/a/tmnt.htm
