Why did Tiffany get so mad??

this question has plagued me since i first saw "Return of the Shredder" why does Tifiany dump Burne's Mock turtle soup over his head and call him a "nasty oild turtle lover"? is i cause he ordered turtle soup in the first place or that it was "mock" turtle soup, thus no turtles were harmed in the making of this soup? I need answeres first 10 get a "hey, good goin".
On an off note, is turtle soup any good, and would a tmnt fan even think to try it.

SOOOO... by ordering Mock turtle soup, Burnes inadvertantly saved a bunch of turtles for being shelled and killed for a disgusting broth.... Since he saved a bunch of turtles, and his arm candy Tiffany dispised them, she dumped the soup on his head, as a result of him saving more icky turtles....

That's my take on it, anyway.

My thinking was that she was an idiot (literally) who hated Turtles, so hearing that he had ordered Turtle Soup (mock or not) made her think he was a turtle lover, so she dumped him and his soup, literally.

LOL! I always got a kick out of that part. Never thought to put any thought into it. After all, with a woman like Tiffany, asking the question, "What was she thinking?" will often get the answer "Nothing."

She probably just hated turtles so much that the idea of Burne liking the taste of turtle - real or otherwise - makes her angry. She doesn't want to have anything to do with turtles whatsoever. When Burne says the word "turtle", Tiffany thinks of how much she hates them, like how they killed her father or stole her high school sweetheart or whatever. She's just a dumb blonde who hates turtles for some stupid reason and doesn't want to have anything to do with them.

I have never had turtle soup either, but I'm willing to try anything once. I've never even been anywhere that has had it on the menu. Where do you go to find such a dish?

I actually wouldn't eat turtle soup for a few reasons. But I wouldn't eat it mainly because that many of them are an endangered species. Many turtles are illegally taken and killed to supply the black market. Here is some interesting reading on this:

On a somewhat separate thought: If turtles had been extinct way before TMNT came out, then maybe we would have gotten something like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turkeys or something instead of Turtles.

Heh, I do think that I need to clear up my earlier statement. When I said I'd try it, I didn't mean I'd go out of my way to order it. But I certainly can't stop other people from eating it, and if offered a try, I'd take it. I can't unkill the poor turtle, after all. I'll try almost anything once, including human. I mean, that's nature folks, don't think you're above it.

And I am disgusted that many of the animals are blackmarket and endangered, and if given the power, it would be the humans who were made into food. We have a surplus of them anyway. I *love* the look of reptile skin print but I draw the line at buying anything that isn't fake.
