Avatar question

ok recently ive been haveing trouble w/ my avatar. im using pics from the offical site so there no question about that. but a day after i get a new pic it turns into the white box w/ red x. so whats going on? the only way ive been able to fix it is to delete it and put it back up but im tired of doing this every time... hope this is the right section for this Q. dont think it goes anywhere else.

What format are the pictures your uploading it could be that or just a broken link

You can't link from the official site anymore. You need to find another place to host it.
