What do we LIKE about Baxter?

Wow, there's been a shell of a lot of Baxter Bashing. Why don't we talk about the things we like about him?

I think it's cool, it kinda reminds me of the first Krang figure.

Hm... if you can switch peices around on him like has been suggested on here, then I think he'll be okay.

But I swear to all that is holy that I will not buy that figure like that. I've said it before: It looks like playmates took a lot of their old plastic peices and randomly put them together to make the figure. And his head needs to be fixed, big time.

I guess I just thought I could start a positive thread on the Baxter figure, seeing as how there is nothing but negative stuff in other forums, and I'm sick of reading peoples complaints.

well, that all depends on if his head is removable. then at least you could stick it inside the utroms stomach. and what about the very bottom of his walker?! if that's removable too it looks like you could put that on the head and it would be like the one episode he was a spider. a very tiny spider headed stockman, not the super lager spider. Hope there's an episode that will explain the extra arms soon too.


poor stockman, after 16 years, he only gets to be a spider or a fly.

I think it would rock if they turned him back into a fly, but a killer fly that looks really scary. The new toy is alright, I've seen much worse toys, his head looks fine, just the robot thing is kinda weird, but who knows, maybe it'll show up in a later episode and everyone'll be like wtf that roxx i want one!

If oldschool X-E forum member tokka is correct and the Baxter can be deconstructed and reconstructed in different ways, then I like that. :)

There is a chance they can still fix him but that Prototype looks like it's almost completed. So unless they scrap it and make a new one, that's probably what he will look like.

Sorta reminds me of the Old School Krang figure. Maybe, like with Krang, they'll release another one in an exosuit. That would be cool.

About the only thing positive about it is the fact that it's a baxter figure, and we need one.

What they should have done is made a regular Baxter(scientist/lab coat) figure with a detachable head and included the little spiderlike robot.

Yea, thats pretty much all thats good about it, is that we're gettin one at all...i really do wonder where they got the motivation to make the fig as it is..i mean, they must know that it is far from any cartoon version..so unless they have some inside tip, i really dont understand whats going on...maybe the final product will come flashing lights or make sounds or sumthin..that might be cool...

The ideal figure would be a baxter with lab coat, but with an eye patch, and a removable neck brace (and head) and small spider body. that way you could swap the head into the utrom stomach or head (providing the utroms head comes off too), and you got yourself a 5 in one toy. at least this verson covers the giant spider verson that BETTER SHOW UP IN AN EPISODE. (please) it's still boss, and i'm still gonna get it, but playmates, release a human baxter too. please! :D
