Tomorrow.. The tmnt season 1 dvd comes out!

Wussup all! That Right tomorrow will be the release of the Season 1 of the original 1987 tmnt season . I will be going to get it first thing before work tomorrow morning. WHoo I can't wait.


I wonder if anyone got theirs early?

Let's keep this bump until the dvd comes out and then everyone can review it.

I'll be heading to a mall that has 5 stores that sell DVDs in it. Hope one of them gets it.

Not gonna be on store shelves tomarrow. It gets shipped tomarrow, therefore it won't be on store shelves until Wednesday-Friday. I've encountered this a lot in pre-ordering games and it really annoys me but it's how it works.

Stores put out new DVDs on Tuesday. I don't see why this one is going to be different. Games frequently come out on different dates because they are shipped a short time after the game goes gold. Places like Gamestop and EBgames seem to put out games earlier than places like Best Buy. I don't know if Best Buy just holds games until Wednesdays or later, of if game stores pay for faster shipping.

From what I've seen on DVD's (and VHS' back in the day) they shipped sometime in the week before they were to come out, but stores couldn't sell them before the street date.

I don't know if it's still that way, but I know where I live every Tuesday stores put out their new DVD's for the week.

Thankfully, the town that I live in has a Wal-Mart Supercenter in it, and I live about a mile away from it, so I plan on going over to it sometime in the next few days to check it out. Although they may get the DVD first, before the get the VHS version. Don't know why that is, but when Volumes 7 and 8 came out,. they got the DVDs of them in TWO WEEKS before the VHS ones! Way weird, I'll tell ya!

Anywho, I plan on getting these, too. But I may have to wait til next month. It's the ols syndrom of "Too much MONTH at the end of the MONEY", as the song goes. Heh.

I'm gonna pick mine up tommorrow between my Math 151 and Japanese classes.

The only copy we got in at Suncaost when I unloaded shipping on Friday is the one I special ordered for myself. Not sure why. I'm guess there wasn't a big enough demand for it?

Games and DVDs are different. Games have a ship date, DVDs have a release date. DVDs will always be available on the day of their release (assuming the store itself doesn't suck). Games are generally available the day after the ship date (or longer if the store does suck).

My walmart is selling it for 9.44. But, I just got back from there. They don't have it yet. But they did show me where it would be. A shelf tag said:
TMNT SSN 1
$9.44

Only 10 bucks guys! Whenever it gets here. My walmart didn't have it out at midnight.

i work at a store with a video dept....doubt we'll get it but that's beside the point... and we get the tuesday releases about a day or 2 in advance...they sit in the managers office, and wait to be checked into the system and sold/rented....it will be out today....or i'll cry....seriously i will.... :cry:

EDIT: Wal-Mart only got the VHS (and, what is that? If you're only going to order one format, at least get DVD!)but I found it at another store. It was $24.99 Canadian, but it was worth it! Putting the disc on now, whoo!

I headed over to Best buy at 11am and bought mine I was planning on spending at least 15-17 bucks but it was only 11. Lemme tell ya it was WELL WORTH that.
