GUZZI LEMANS GN
by Jim Lawson; cover by Michael Dooney
The year 2046 is not the future that we would wish for out children and grandchildren. But rather it is a dark place. Where America's cities have been abandoned, in favor of a safer, more secure model of society -- on the government farms. However, all were not invited. The aftermath of the recent wars had left the country a barren wasteland. It is out there that the others live -- those deemed unworthy of civilization's new start. These are the deviants and bikers. This is the world of Guzzi Lemans.

Yep, too bad it's just a mini, though. He's stopped doing the self publishing thing and the people at Digital Webbing were willing to publish a mini, and they said they'd do another if the sales were pretty good. The good thing is that it'll appear in Previews (which comes out wednesday), and any local comic shop can preorder it for you.

And you're from Oz as well and you order comics from the US?

Actually, I don't get the comics. My local comic shop won't order them for me, and I don't really have the money to buy each issue from the US.

it almost seems as if the tmnt have elemental powers.... one looks earthy, one looks watery, one thundery, and one kinda fiery.... then again, i dunno.

*falls over laughing* that sounds sooo funny.

Two of them look like a Batman and a Spiderman type. The a Green Latern too... ? That should be interesting to read. :D

Ooh, cool cover!! I wonder if they'll get some sort of temporary powers? One of the turtles reminds me of Sandman, another reminds me of the Thing, the one on the left reminds me of Electro, but the one in the front doesn't ring a bell for me. Actually, waitasec... He kinda reminds me of the Blue Falcon. Kinda...

man, if the turtles get any 'powers' i hope it has something to do with their martial arts training or their mutations.... and not some goofy accident like Mike being bitten by an irradiated turtle...... i mean, the turtles are supposed to be make fun of superheroes!!!!!! :goofygri:

Im not sure i like it if they get some stupid super powers. But then again i think It's Lairds choice and if he thinks the turtles need somwthinf diffrent then i will wait and see...

hmmm.... maybe he'll integrate those ideas from the proposed movie..... but then again, they are all wearing different costumes than the movie ones.....
