Jade stood on the grungy oily New York street and took
in a lung full of the polluted air and coughed. She had
no trouble at all seeing in the pitch black of night.
Her walk was so smooth she seemed to be gliding down
the street "What have they done to my land?"her voice
was subtle and sad. As she walked, she spotted a man,
leaning against a pole, and standing in a small circle
of light Ah my first victim an evil smirk crossed her
beautiful face. The man spotted the young women in the
green cape and approached her boldly "Hey baby, it's
dangerous out this way...you come home with me and I'll
keep ya safe!" he threw his cigarette on the ground and
stomped it out "No thanks...but, there is one thing you
could do for me." she gave him her innocent eyes
"Anything for you babe!" he grabbed her by the wrist
and held her tightly "But first how's about a little
kiss?" She smiled sweetly "As you wish."She ripped her
hands from his grip, put her palms on his cheek, and
pressed her tender lips to his rough ones, suddenly the
man's eye's began to glaze over and he was thrown into
a fit of convulsions as his soul was slowly sucked away
from his body. Jade threw the man on his knees "Now bow
to me you insolent swine!" She kicked him in the
stomach and watched him cringe at her feet "Burn this
building down to its foundation and make sure your
inside as it burns!" she hissed to him, and the man
scrambled into the condemned building and began to set
the old furniture on fire with his lighter. Jade
watched as the building grew into a raging inferno, the
man screaming inside as he slowly burned to death and
she smiled wickedly, her reign of terror had only just
begun. She faced into the wind, the flames framing her
perfect body and started deeper into the city.

Karra sat high up on the top of the building, one leg swaying over the edge. She looked out over the city, wishing she could once again walk those streets. But no, now she was stuck in this mutant turtle body, outcasted from society. Yet, if she hadn't gone through with the procedure, she'd be dead by now. Fate was a bitch.

She was shaken from her thoughts as the building she sat on started to shake. She looked down and realized that it was because it was on fire! And the structure was starting to collapse. She quickly jumped across to a neighboring building, and ran over a few more rooftops until she was a safe distance from the blaze.

"What th' hell caused that?" She asked out loud. She could have sworn she heard screaming, but it died under the roar of the fire. "Man, an' I really liked that place too."

Jade could feel the power surging through her body the mans soul had done wonders...like a hot meal on a cold winter day. A sudden rustling in the bushes halted her and she kneeled to the ground and made a purring sound. A smile appeared on her face as a large black panther stalked from the bushes "Ahhh...my precious pet Enya....you have waited for me?" she scratched the panthers soft head "We shall once again rule, but first we must build a new clan...we need more women who tire of mans foolish games!" Jade walked further down the street coming to a brightly light resturaunt "Mnas magic has become strong...I must have more souls!"

*looks down from her perch, seeing a pinpoint of light that is the burning building*

NYPD criminal investigation labs:
News came in about a fire that burned down a building in one of the seedy areas of the city. It would have been marked down as just another fire, if it wasn't for the strange body...or what was left of him, that the fire fighters found inside. That left the doors open for hte police to investigate the cause of this.

As the senior invesitagtors looked over the remians of the building, Ryan sought to find any witnesses in the area. He made note of a restuarnat down the way, and decided to go there first.

Jade walked into the resturaunt, Enya at her heels "Miss, you can't bring your...uhhh...panther in here!" the mans eye's widened with fear when he recognized the animal by her side. ahhhh...this one is as good as any she thought, then she walked up to the counter and blew a sweet smelling powder into the man's face "Sorry miss is threr anything you would like me to do?" the man slurred his words and acted as if he were drunk "Yes...if you would please follow me...all of you!" she blew the same powder at the three young men sitting at the counter drinking coffee. The four men followed Jade out of the resturaunt to thier doom.

Ryan was talking to a waitress at the other end of the bar, when he forze in mid speech after see when the lady with a panther did to four of the men there. "That.. is definatley not normal. Excuse me," he left to asee where she was talking them. Outside, he followed at a distance as they went into an alley.

Jade kissed the first man sucking the life out of him, when man dropped to his knees she snaped her fingers and the panther lept on him ripping his throat out. One of them men snapped out of the trance and began to run screaming back down the alley "Enya...stop him and bring him back here!" jade instructed to her panther. Jade advanced on her next victim.

*stretches her wings slightly, growing bored with acting like a statue*

Geez. It's days like this that I'm almost tempted to just sleep like normal instead of wearing the amulet

*glances down at the trinket around her neck, a long time gift to her clan from another*

It would definately beat being bored out of my...

*hears a scream in the alley below, startled out of thoughts as she looks down and find the source in the form of man being chased by a...panther?*

Enya lept onto the man's back and tackled him to the ground "HELP....GET IT OFFA ME!" he screamed. Enya gave a cat's smile showing the tips of her fangs, then grabbed the man by his leg and began dragging him back to Jade. No one can hear you so why struggle? the mans eyes widened as the panthers thoughts entered his mind.


By the time her panther had returned Jade had finished off the other two men "Now to finish you!" she pulled the man up to his feet by his throat.[/i]

*leaps off the building, diving down toward the people below her with a battle screech*

Jade narrowed her eyes and dropped the man "Hmmm....this could be interesting." she rubbed her hands together the friction causing a fireball to appear. "Try this!" she hissed as she tossed the firea at the screechin creature.

*tucks her wings, barely dodging the missile as she veers to the side and almost slams into the next building, landing hard on the alley floor*

*shakes off, crouching on all fours now and glaring at Enya* What are you doing to him?

This is... turning out to be one unusual...supernatural homicide... to say the least Ryan ducked in the shadows as the scene unfolded. It certainly would be foolish to intervene, for all he had was a 9mm and a cell phone at the moment. He was relieved to see that a good power chose to distract the succumbus before all was lost.

He looked to the panther guarding the terrified man as the other two creatures confronted each other. *Let him be...* he interjected into the panther's head while approaching it. Ryan held his fire arm at ready, all the while wishing he had his sword at hand instead for this.

Jade looked at the creature crouched on the ground "Enya is a close friend of mine, she is willing to do whatever i ask of her!" she paused in thought "She only has the same goal as I.... and that is to take her land back!"

Enya wrinkled her nose and bared her fangs foolish man I obey no one , but my master....your kind has done enough destruction to my land, and you will soon die like this worm! Enya's eyes flashed with rage as she struck the man beside her with outstretched claws he is nothing why do you wish to save him?

*snarls, eyes blazing red*

Take back your land? Lady, I don't know what your problem is, but in case you haven't noticed, this land belongs to the humans. Not some crazy panther and some vampire wannabe.

Ryan looked from Jade and back to Enya. They weren't out to merely cause trouble, but to get revenge. He took anotehr dareing stepp closer tot he cat, ghis finger itching to pull the trigger. *It's my duty to save and protect the innocent. THIS man did no harm to you or your lady. He does not deserve your punishment.* Ryan meet his dark eyes with the cat's seething ones.

Jade's eyes narrowed "How dare you....I come from a proud heritage....a long line of Amazonians and mages." she gave the creature a wicked smile "I see that you agree with what man has done to this land....how he has maniputlated it into a polluted city!" a saddend look then came over her face "This land was once lush and green, a place of beauty when my mother ruled....I am the rightful hier to this land.....not man!"

*growls* And you think that we Gargoyles have had it any better than you? In case you haven't noticed, lady, we've nearly been driven to extinction by humans. But that doesn't mean we go out of our way to hurt them, especially the ones that never did anything to us personally.

Ryan was tempted to make the first move, to take on the cat. But that wouldn't be wise just yet. If he failed, then both he and the other man would be dead.

Ryan tightened his stance, his plan made. The cat was ready to pouince him, but was she flexible too? How was she at chasing two targets? With lightening fast reflexes, he darted to the far side, more or less covering the man. "On my mark, make a dash out of this alley, sir," Ryan told the fellow crowering behind him against the wall.

For your protection or not, that still doesn't give you the right to take an innocent's soul! He may have a family who needs him and if you kill him just for yourself, you're taking away something more precious than you can know!

*snarls again, her own words ringing of her early life, though she doesn't say*

Jade shook of the gargoyl's words and turned to Enya was planning to strike out until a call from Jade stopped her "Enya, come my friend....we have better things to do than fool around with these petty creatures, besides I have enough soul energy to last me for a while."

Enya curled her lips and hissed at the two men Jade sometimes feels pity for the creatures who are less powerful...but I do not! her golden eye's flashed in the darkness Man has always treated animals with inferiority....and untill my brothers and sisters are free from thier cages I will bear this grudge She turned and trotted off after Jade.

*growls, debating whether she should strike or protect the remaining humans*

*Just because a few abusive men might have caused you grief, doesn;t mean we all despise animals* Ryan just narrowed his eyes so they were just dark slats, as the two offenders left the scene.

His gaze softened some when he looked to the gargoyle figure. "Thank you," Ryan said, then turned to tend to the injured man behind him.

"NYPD," he flashed his badge then got out his cell phone before continuing. "All you alright? Do you need an ambulance?"

*merely nods to the officer, then proceeds to climb up the alley wall, back toward the rooftops again*

((OK... I'm gonna jump in with my old character, Stealth, until I have the mind to think of another character.))

As Enya climbed that rooftop, a shadow emerged from the depths of darkness in the alleyway. A glowing blade stuck out, as an arm was obscured from the naked eye. An echo of chuckle bounced off of the alleyway walls, as the figure placed a foot out. The figure drew his leg back behind the darkness of the alleyway and threw out a deceased body, apparently his most recent casualty. As the figure dropped to the ground, the murderous figure stepped out from the shadows, only to reveal that it was none other than Stealth, the mutant assassin.

"Well well well! This town's gotta little party for me and I wasn't invited? Stealth snickered. "Somebody's gotta 'lil bit of explaining to do. I'm p*ssed and I need a 'lil bit of action to cheer me up."

Stealth walked back behind the darkness of the shadows, as he drew his glowing blade back into its handle.

((Eh... not bad. But I think I can do better. I've noticed I have a different style of RPing, so bear with me if my RPs are too descriptive. It's all because of Efeds <you'd know what I mean, Azure, if you were in elite Efeds>. Anyway... I'll attempt to find the time to RP, but school is a big time consumer and homework from all AP and Honors courses don't help either. Please someone, lend me your sympathy))

Karra pulled her coat a bit tighter around herself. The night suddenly took on an eerie chill. Something's wrong...

Most people would consider an omen of danger to be a bad thing, but not Karra. Danger was what she lived for, and since it didn't seem to be coming to her, that meant she would have to go looking for it.

Ryan left the alley after the EMS showed up to help the shaken man. And people thought X-files was just a TV show... must make a note to start carrying my sword around with me more the way I get stuck with these unusual assignments, Ryan though to himself as he headed back tot eh original crime scene. He had a good hunch that vampire vixen was responsible for the building fire. The hard would be getting the rest to believe this truth. It's not like one could just incinerate an evil spirit.... that matter would have to be taken to a different sort of authority.

*settles onto her favorite perch, going over the recent events in her mind*

What was she talking about? Needing a man's soul to protect herself? Isn't her own enough?

Jade stood on the rooftop surveying the hundreds of other buildings, Enya pacing by her side. "Sit my friend be at ease!" Jade hissed to the cat, who promtly did as she was told.

I can't believe you let that last man get away, let them all get away...you have enough power to take them all out! Enya's eyes had an eerie glow as she sent her thoughts to Jade "Yes, I know that...but we must be patient my friend, toy with them a little...see what makes man work in todays society."



Jade...i was thinking perhaps to know man we must partner up with a male Enya watched the shadows having a feeling of being noticed "Enya, that would go against the Divine Rule, you know that as well as I!" Flames spouted from her finger tips as she experimented with her newly revived magic yes , but we could always dispose of him when we are threw....we do not have to guarentee him his spared life for his deeds!

Jade nodded "Very well we shall try this plan of yours...but first we must find a male who hates man almost as much as both of us put together."

Stealth kept his shell against the alleyway's dead-end wall. He knew that there was a pole that he could climb, in order to attain reaching that location he desired. He had no idea what was to happen, but it all seemed too easy for him.

Maybe they're expecting some freak to arrive at their toes, Stealth thought to himself.

He had no idea what to do, think, or execute. He was a pot of mixed emotions. Who knew what would be of his life? He had befriended a fellow mutant, his first-ever true friend (Tiger). But he hadn't seen her ever since the last meeting (Dark Seasons). She tried to teach him a lesson in trusting, but it was only so minimal that he could do so.

"This town is just too exciting to move from, Stealth murmured to himself.

He gripped the pole and slowly exceeded upward, to the rooftop. Things were going as planned, unsighted, as he always had been in his past infiltration missions with the MAU. He couldn't stand being the odd man out from the mutant world. He wanted to reveal himself to the world, but how? And how was interfering in other mutants' rendevous supposed to help? His thinking process had many faux pases, and he never attempted to fix them, but what was the point? He'd always remain a clod-blooded, relentless, assassin.

He had reached the center, until the pole broke, causing a loud noise that echoed through the skies. He had no choice but to drop back down, before he was suspected. He let go of the pole and fell below into a dumpster, but the real inquiry was if anyone had heard or spotted his fall...

(( Oh, I know whatcha mean about efeds, Ninja Nin. Posts had to be full of vivid descriptions... Competition gets really tough sometimes, which is why I haven't joined any efeds in a long while. Don't have much time nowadays. Hmm... AP and Honors?? Yep, I remember going through that, too. You've got my sympathies as well. ;) I'm still wondering what kind of character I can use in this RP... Hopefully I'll think of someone and jump aboard. ))

The loud noise startled Jade "Why didn't you tell me we were being followed?" she questioned her comrade.

Enya eyed Jade this one is quite the shadow lurker...a stealthy fellow, but he hasn't the pads on his paws to keep his step as quiet as mine! She quietly blended into the shadows, her fur the perfect cloaking device let us see what his intentions are...you speak with him if he decides to reveal himself.

Jade nodded and resumed producing fire from her palms as though she had never heard the sound.

((OOC: Oh thank you, Azure... I give you my gratitude for showing sympathy. It's not easy maintaining a good rep while worrying about making it to UF (University of Florida) with all of these grades I have to accomplish. Anyway, as long as I'm able to rough (I've done that for years), then all I can do is cherish the sympathy you guys give me :tlol: ))

Stealth lain in that dumpster, wondering to himself what was his problem. What had he learned from his missions in the MAU? It was to proceed with caution and stealth, and so far, he had been failing each trait to infiltration. He closed the dumpster lid, so that he could relieve some of his stress.

He looked at a garbage bag, next to himself, and started beating it with a balled-up fist.

What in the hell is wrong with me? Stealth thought to himself. If only he could find the root to his failing, maybe he missed Tiger. Maybe he missed Cory, or maybe knowing that Rex could possibly still be lurking the streets searching for Stealth's shell was a factor that affected him (from Dark Seasons - One). Whatever the cause what, it couldn't affect him now.

He gradually opened the dumpster lid and looked back outside, where he found plenty of rats scurrying around.

Food! he joshed to himself, in his mind. He pointed a pistol at it and placed a silencer on it. Stealth drew back the pistol and placed it back in his belt, where his glowing blade also stood.

Stealth hopped out of the dumpster and looked up at the roof of the building. He didn't know what was going on, but he was bound to find out. What was the purpose of his curiosity of what was up there? He found that broken pole piece and picked it up. He stared at it, then lunged it across the alleyway, as it landed on the ground with an echoing CLANK! Stealth wondered what was meant for him, and walked away from the scene.

I'm not giving up on getting to that roof, he thought to himself. but how? I'm Stealth, dammit, I should know!

Jade tapped her foot impatiently "If this fellow takes any longer, I shall have to go down and see what the problem is." Enya's thoughts reached her mind no he's coming...he wants to be here I can feel it!

Jade muttered something and shot a tiny bolt of electricity in Enya's direction "Don't correct me pussy cat!"

Enya appeared out of the shadows, her fur standing in all directions Do you have any idea how long it takes to groom myself?
Jade laughed "I don't know...but you'd better re-groom before our visitor arrives!"

I'll get you for this later Jade! Enya's thoughts were not in a harsh tone but rather an amusing one, and she grinned as she slunk back into the shadows.

Stealth walked on, wondering what was to happen if he had actually reached that roof. As he was ready to leave the alleyway, an image blinked in his mind. It was the eyes of someone he knew. Tiger? No. It was someone who had been a threat to him. It couldn't have been Rex. He could've sworn he disposed of him. Rex was a figment of his imagination. Rex was the past. Now was a time that something else had struck.

You know who I am the eyes appeared to say to him. But who? Who owned those eyes? Cory? Or was it someone that he knew before the MAU? His mind raced with sudden images of important people of his past.

I know who you are Stealth's mind said to the eyes, but it was a lie. He didn't know. Too many things in his past would let him know who or what he thought it was.

The roof came back to mind, and he had to think of ideas a soon as possible. How hard could it be for a snapping turtle to reach a roof? Especially when this turtle used to kill for a living?

Jade...that building is in my line of view, do you think you could move it? Jade smiled "Sure why not?"

Jade rubbed her palms together until a large fireball was produced "How many people do you think are in that building Enya?"

my sense detect none she thought to Jade

Jade hurled the ball at the building, and watched it explode with massive force. "Ha...If man is so strong why didn't he put a magic spell on his dwelling places?" she lifted her hand and created a small forcefield protecting herself from the falling debris.

"This is great...Let see if our detective friend can figure this one out!" Jade giggled with delight.

Ryan heard a string of obscentities come out of the mouths of his two other coworkers after they saw an entire building a block down the street explode to smithereens. The patrol car came to an abrupt stop on the middle of the street since it was now littered with phone poles, bricks and debri.

"What the hell was that?!" one asked as he steeped out of the car. The other called int ot he staion to report the incident, and get more fire trucks on the spot.

"It's something.. beyond our control," Ryan said to no one inparticular.

"Say what?"

"Better book this under the X-files. I ran into a lady over by the resturant. Needless to say, she wasn't your everyday human," Ryan then explained, hoping that he wouldn't have to got into the wghole nine yards. They knew of acute ways to pick up on clues, but when it goes into the paranormal they tend to get finicky.

"Oh man... now you're telling me this isn't your run of the mill gang war terrorism?"

"Not really... it is terrorism, but on a different level. Man against demon," Ryan shifted some. He was itching to get back to the station, so he could embark on his own investigation.

After securing the area, and confirming that no human lifes were lost, they group finally headed back to the station.

Stealth noticed some of the debris falling to earth, his body unprotected and very vulnerable to anything, at this point. He was in an area where he could be visible to any eye looking at his direction. His yell seemed audible, compared to the volume of the explosion.

Before a debris could hit him, he jumped out of the way, but a brick hit his leg. He dropped to the floor, in pain, as if he were shot in his leg.

This must be a sign of you! Stealth said to those eyes, as the imagery was still blinking in his mind. Work like that can't be done by a force as strong as you!

Truly, do you perceive that I did this? those eyes said back at him.

Those eyes haunted him for a period of time, but it had to get out of his way, as a massive crowd began to encircle the scene.

It was times like these that Stealth had to forget about his sorrows and worries. Sure, he hadn't seen Tiger in a while, but it wouldn't be as bad as these people detecting his existence. Stealth hopped to his legs and hobbled on that injured leg. He dove into the shadows of the dark alleyway, once again, as the crowd watched the scene.

Masses of ambulances and sirens shrilled through the air, as the crowd was mesmorized by the scene.

"These people act like they never saw a f*ckin' disaster before!" Stealth whispered to himself.

He had to stay in that alleyway. Maybe that roof wasn't his calling card. Maybe he wasn't meant to meet what was up there. He met Tiger when Tiger came to him.

Oh boy, Stealth thought to himself, as he remembered Tiger. The first time me and Tiger met, it was with my pistol at her head. *chuckle* Well, maybe there'll be another day to get somewhere else.

Stealth thought about what he said to himself, but he wasn't a quitter. The only to capture the fly was not to come to it, but for it to come to him. But this was different. He could always use his tactics. He was a well-trained fellow. He needed to reach that roof.

*hears the explosion from where she's roosting, wings lifting unconsciously* Great. What's happening now?

"Enya, it's getting to crowded, I wish to leave." Jade pouted Alright...Perhaps we will meet our friend at lower level of this city

Jade climbed down the fire escape "You find him, your a lot more stealthy than I." Enya nodded and slinked off into the shadows.

Enya lifted her nose to the air and sniffed This fellow smells of blood and death, he could be dangerous she thought to herself as she came up behind him quite interestin, his looks are peculiar she padded closer to him.

ahhhh.....he seems to be injured as well, if he should try anything, i should be able to take him. she grinned to her self

Stealth stood in the alleyway, pacing back and forth, wondering what he could do. He held out the handle to his glowing kitana blade and thought for a second, Maybe I should snipe each bystander one by one!

Stealth had no idea that he was being overshadowed. It wasn't peculiar to him to be spotted, but if he had no idea about it, it only bugged him in the slightest way.

I'm gonna get somewhere, but that roof means nothing to me. Stealth thought to himself.

Stealth leaned against a wall and tried sneaking his way out, away from the crowd. Ambulances and firemen worked on the fire of the building, as it continued to burn. Stealth looked at the building and spoke aloud, yet undetected by the mesmorized crowd, "Who did this sh*t!"

Back at the station, Ryan tried to make his plead be known on the case. The chief looked was dubious about the new investigation the detective wanted to embark on. Alone.

"I'll call for back up if I need it," Ryan pressed. "I do have exprience in these sort of things.. you can say,"

"Mhh... I dunno. If the problem is caught, how would you deal with it? We deal with human offenders... we are not the ghostbusters, or excorcists, or... or... vampire hunters!"

"I'm sure there is something to deal with it... there always is. I'm going," Ryan left. Yes, it was a bold measure that was asking to his job to be revoked, but his good reputation was what let them go along with his stubborn determination.

Stealth sharply turned around, his hand at clutching his blade. He stared at the creature speaking to him and laughed at it.

"Do you really think fangs scare me?" he taunted. "I've seen sharper fangs on an elderly tarantula! As for venom, you can take my imitation of one!"

Stealth spat at the creature, then took a step back, then explained himself. "As for the stalking of you and your little compadre up there, I just seem to have a curious mind. Is that a problem? Because if there is... (pause) you can answer to my little glowing friend in my hand..."

"Oh no...the fangs are just for looks deary!" Jade appeared on the opposite side of Stealth handling a ball of fire "You make bold threats for someone who is injured!"

Enya eyed Jade He's a disrespectful little whelp, this one. She looked back at Stealth Threaten me as much as you like, but do not threaten us both and expect to live!

"Now Enya, let us be civil, perhaps he would like to our proposition before he starts swinging his blade." Jade narrowed her eye's at Stealth "Forgive Enya, she is still young and eager, now would you like to hear me out or must we battle?"

These two are quite hilarious... a match of equal power and stubborness, Ryan mused as he watched them in a shadow on the rooftop of another building across the gap of an alley.

Stealth stared at Jade with a raised eyebrow, "Have you ever done both at the same time?" he asked.

He held his blade out and chuckled a bit. "It's really fun! Here, let me show you the ropes."

Stealth swung his blade, but intentionally missed the blow. "The whole object is to battle while talking. You'll find it an interesting method of conversation. Let's begin, shall we?"

Stealth clutched the handle of his blade with both hands and snarled at Enya and Jade. "Unless you'd rather that we sit like civilized mutants and speak what's on our minds."

Jade smirked at the mutant and threw her fireball down, between his feet "Very well, but be warned I may be a princess, but I am a worthy oponent." She snapped her fingers and Enya leaped to her side Alright....finally some action Enya extended her claws.

Enya was suddenly weighted down with Jades green cape "Sorry, Enya but two against one isn't fair, go busy yourself else where, and don't get my cape dirty!" Enya scowled at Jade and then to Stealth perhaps someother time mutant! she turned and dissapeared into the darkness I will find someone else to play with!

Jade pulled a dagger from the side of her boot "Watch closely now or you might miss something!" She tapped the blade three times and muttered some words, to which the blade imediatle beagan to glow a bright blue and evently it became a long silver Katana.

Jade took a fighting stance "My proposal to you...." she thrust her blade at Stealth "....is that you help us on our mission."

Ryan drawn closer to the wall to better hide in the shadow. That cat had been dismissed for some reason.

Enya paced back and forth in the shadows, her tail flicking about Jade still treats me like the scared weak little cub I was so long ago! she wrinkled her nose in disgust but I have power now....I am stronger and wiser! She sensed someone watching her but dismissed it as the mixing of feelings, of anger and excitement.

Feeling the need to shread something, Enya extended her claws and attacked the 6 foot sapling in her path My claws run through this tree as easily as they do simple humans! She watched the tree fall silently and went about her pacing once more.

Stealth blocked the attack with his glowing blade, but looked into Jade's eyes with a puzzled look in his eyes.

"What the hell are you talkin' about?" Stealth asked.

Emotions rushed through him. "Mission" was the last thing he thought he'd have to do. His years of experience in the MAU were pleasing to him, but that organization of mutants crumbled worse than the Incan ruins. Thinking of Rex was a problem for him. He knew that Rex was dead, but what could he do? Flashing images of Tiger came to mind, as he thought of her body taking Rex's place in his past missions.

He finally snapped out of his half-second trance and remembered that his blade was still blocking her blade. He released his blade, rushed under her blade, and stood behind her. He knew she would turn around quickly, so he stood behind her and clutched his glowing blade with both hands and held the blade toward Jade. It wasn't a position to kill, but it was threatening nonetheless.

"Keep talkin' Missy," Stealth said. You really got my attention now!"

Jade spun around quickly and let her blade clash with Stealth's "I am the rightful heir to this polluted land you call a City!" She pushed both the blades up near Stealth's face, then brought her face within mere inches of his it would be so easy to take him she thought to herself But no I won't, he shall be much more interesting under his own command She pulled her face away from his resisting her urge "I need someone strong to help me recruit new clan members....and to teach me about man's magic and his new weapons." She eyed Stealth's pistol with inquisitive eyes.

Jade shoved Stealth's blade from hers and jumped into the air, and landed a few feet in front of him blade ready "I need someone with experience....and as there will be no lack of those wishing to eradicate me, so in turn there will be no lack of action!" There was a hint of excitement in her features as she grinned at Stealth.

Stealth stared at her grin and took it to offense as a taunt. He grinned back and charged toward Jade. He sprung into the air and somersaulted a few times, then landed to earth with his feet planted on the ground and his blade clashing against hers at the same time with an overhead attack. He pressed down against Jade's blade, causing her to bend backward with the weight he supplied on her.

"I really have no clue of what you're talkin' about lady," Stealth said.

Stealth released his blade from hers and ducked under her blade again, intentionally dropped flat on his shell, and tumble backward to keep his distance from her. He lept to his feet and clutched the handle of his blade with one hand, this time.

"You really need to let me know what the hell you're talkin' about. For all I know, this place ain't got the government of heirarcy. This is the United States of America. When I see a princess or a king of this land, expect me to be in Brazil!"

Stealth snarled at Jade and moved his tongue across his top row of teeth. After tucking his tongue back into his mouth, he spat on the ground and used his free hand to signal for Jade to come his way and bring it!

Jade twirled her blade in impatience "No queen, king, or princess..... Who then keeps the people, within the Divine order, who keeps them from Segregating?" She scratched her head confused.

"For now you can surely see my need for an up to date partner!" Jades mind was flooded with images of her mothers cold, dead eyes and the promise she had made, to avenge her. Jade lept into the air and came down upon Stealth with her radiating anger, their blades clashed and a shower sparks flew at Jade biting wherever flesh was seen, but she ignored it.

"I shall punish the Reincarnates, those who spilled my mothers blood upon the altar....they wanted blood, but what they didn't count on it as being their own!" She flared her nostrils "I am speaking of revenge.....Surely a creature of your stature can understand that part of my mission!"

She breathed heavily more from rage than the battle "Taking back my land is a minor thing compared to my current lust for the blood of those cowards who took my mothers life before my very eyes!"

Ryan rolled his eyes after seeingt he large cat shred the tree into splinters. So much for saving the trees when that kitty's on the rampage... he mused. But his eye narrowed upon overhearing her quest to find a mate to be by her side. She reminds me of the legend regarding the Queen of the Damned. he watched the turbulent confrontation silently.

Enya finally calm from her fuming, began to scent the wind ahhh....who hides amongst the buildings! she was bluffing, but figured if there was someone in the immediate area they might answer her thoughts, of even better yet radiate fear, an easily recognizable scent. Who are you amateur, playing hide 'n seek with the master? She trotted silently amongst the buildings, searching, the green cape trailing behind her.

Stealth absorbed the sparks that tore through his flesh. He felt its burning sensation, but ignored it. He knew that this confrontation could not go without focus for the whole time. Stealth was aware of the consequences for having his mind wander off into distant zones of the past.

Stealth shook the cobwebs out of his head and continued the confrontation.

"So, you're all about vengeance right?" Stealth asked. "That's pretty interesting. (push blade harder) My only reason for living was actually to avenge the one who made the mark under my right eye patch."

Stealth placed a foot on Jade's stomach and pushed himself off of her with his leg strength. Stealth back-flipped repeatedly and stood on his feet with his blade in hand.

"And if you keep thinking you are actually the next ruler of this city, then you are truly mistaken, for the Constitution and famous men's speeches keep this union from segragation. Our written constitutions allow us to live in freedom. Tell me, where were you when John Hancock first signed the Declaration of Independence?!"

Jade laughed "And this written constitution dose it allow all to live in freedom (pauses) meaning does it include your kind?" she glared at him "I can assure you this signed parchment you speak is a failed attempt to recreate my mothers rule......and as for me, when this John Hancock fellow speak of was upon this earth, I was condemmd to the middle-earth....the under world (long pause) and it was said that I would not return untill the earth screamed my name and man's technology would destroy him (chuckles) didn't think I was ever going to get out of there."

Jade twirled her blade but made no moves to attack "Yes revenge is my main motive and I shall be happy with just that....but if the opportunity arises, I shall take my land back!"

Stealth lowered his glowing blade and pondered her question. Did mutants live in the same fashion as humans? Look at him, he lived among the streets and kept himself concealed from the public eye. He remained a faded image of a trustworthy mutant, his feelings were transparent and his lifestyle was plain out atroscious.

"Never thought about it lady, but why should I care?" Stealth asked. "There's plenty of mutants in this society that get opportunities like any other breathing human that walks with a stash of green in his pocket."

Stealth held up his blade again and swung the blade horizontally to Jade's side, only to have it blocked. Both blades clashed in an ongoing battle. Stealth received a kick to his chest and stumbled back a bit.

"As for the screaming of your name, I'm sorry your mom's gone, but it's a part of life. No one lives forever. God's Calling just came a bit earlier than she expected."

Stealth held up his blade and charged after Jade.

Jade smirked at the mutant "I grow tired of this game!" Thier blades clashe again, and she put her foot up to Stealth's chest and kicked him to the ground "Either you are friend or foe....make your decision now and do not regreat it!" her blade shrank as did her intrest in the battle, and she stared at it for a moment "No matter.....I have better things to do!"

Jade turned her back on him "You would be greatly rewarded for your help, if you chose to do so, you could have anything you desire!" She turned to him once more "Make your decision quickly.....for soon I must begin my hunt."

Stealth held out his pistol and pointed it at Jade's head. He chuckled a bit and gave her a bit of a twisted smile. While panting heavily, he began to speak, "First of all, no one ever tries to demean my name. I make the rules and I make the boundaries around here! If it's one thing I don't need, it's a blood-hunting b*tch trying to belittle me!"

Stealth stared wide-eyed at her. He bowed his head and lowered the pistol back into his belt. He shot her a quick glance and replied to her offer.

"FINE!" he answered. "What is it that I have to do?"

Oh great... the punk is submitting to her, Ryan shifted uneasily as he watched. There was nothing he could do about this, yet.

Jade smiled and stepped up to Stealth "I knew you would see things my way...(whispers)Come with me and I shall explain further, there are eyes upon us." She gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"Now...tell me your name, so that I do not insult you further." She snaped her fingers to call Enya.

Enya was searching a particularly shadowed area when the call reached her ears. Enya hissed into the darkness and made her way back to Jade you called? Enya thought as she sat, panting beside her misstress, who said nothing in return, only took up her cape. every thing must have went as planned, she did not tear me for soiling her cape! Enya kept her thoughts silent

"Fine, but if I reveal my name... you must reveal yours," Stealth offered. "The name of mine is Stealth. I experienced a very difficult past, so don't test me. I killed my best friend a while back and I'm not in the mood to kill right now."

Stealth mashed a button on the blade's handle, causing the glowing blade to fall into its handle. Stealth stared at Jade with eyes of intensity and chuckled a bit. He slowly approached Jade and raised an eyebrow to her, then looked at Enya.

"Your little kitty over there needs to control her temper," Stealth pointed out. "She's a bit too cocky and arrogant to face people like me. But don't worry, that's the kind of attitude I like in a brawler."

Stealth looked back into Jade's eyes, not of lust, but of focus. To study who he was ready to afiliate himself with. She was different from Tiger, that was for sure. He stared into her eyes for a long time... but noticed that he saw those pairs of eyes again, replacing her own. Those eyes who had mentally spoken to him. Was she the one speaking to him. No! The eyes said Stealth knew who they belonged to. She wasn't from his past.

"Tell me, what do most knuckleheads call you?"

Jade began a middle paced walk to escape the uninvited eyes and ears "My real name is much to complicated, but commoners often call me Jade." She looked to Enya who she wished to introduce herself, but the cat just pinned her ears back and swished her long tail, so Jade did the intro duction "And this is Enya...please forgive her unpleasant mood, she dilikes strangers...but I'd like to think she will be kinder in the days come, since her past was a bloddy one as well."

Enya gave Jade a warning glance do not speak of my past...when I wish to reveal it, I shall she thought to Jade. Enya turned her amber gaze to Stealth, hoping it would make him uncomfotable, as it did most I don't like you it was a simple thought she sent to the stranger, but she didn't want Jade to impress upon him that she could possibly ever like him.

Jade looked over to Stealth "So what would you like in return for this deed...I'd like to get things straight before you do anything for me...I do not wish to cheat you, despite what people think I am a fair creature."

An offer... the very symbol of any free selection that you could ever desire. What was it that he wanted most? The eyes came into view. Stealth had no idea what to think. After Stealth's mind cleared for a moment, he noticed Enya giving him an unwelcoming glare.

"What are ya lookin' at kitty cat?" Stealth said, but the response was silence.

He looked back into Jade's eyes, trying to think of what he could attain. He wanted to know where the eyes came from. He wanted to know more than anything why those eyes would shadow him wherever he went. He needed answers and he wanted them fast.

"Jade?" Stealth said. "I've reached a decision. I have decided on my one wish."

Stealth placed a hand over his right left eyepatch and removes it, revealing a hideous scar.

"I've lived with this thing for years. I've concealed it from the public and I've kept it low key for a long time." Stealth wished. "I want this scar gone!"

But what about the friggin' eyes watchin' you? Stealth thought to himself. These eyes had only irritated him for some hours, but that scar has made its mark on him for years. He had Rex to thank for that. But who was he to thank for those eyes interrupting his mind?

Things were uncertain to him, and he needed to find rememdies and solutions fast. He nodded his head at Jade, as he pleaded his one desire.

Jade nodded this should be an easy task for her "Very well, but I cannot promise you that the process will be painless." She removed her cape once more "Are you absolutly sure this is what you want....I can give you anything and yet you want this scar removed." it struck her as peculliar, but she readied herself for the process.

Jades hand began to glow a soft blue and she held it up in front of stealth's face "Whenever you are ready, Stealth...just place my palm over your eye." She felt awkward preforming the ritual on a compleate stranger and a voice in the back of her mind said don't do it, but she payed it no heed for it was only Enya.

Ryan straighted up moreso.... curious as to what the heck she was doing to the other mutant now.

Jade paused in thought, rethinking what she had said "Of coarse the healing process WILL cause immense pain, and drain me of quite a bit of soul energy...we could try a Transition, between you and another...in that way the pain is one sided, and less soul energy is consumed, only the being who receives you scar will feel a twinge of pain." She stole a quick glance at Enya.

"The decision is yours to make.....but you must know that the only being available, that would be strong enough to complete the transition would be Enya." Her glowing palm remained in it's place as she awaited Stealth's decision

Enya flattened her ears and turned away, she did not wish to carry the strangers burden, nor did she care to see what lay hidden in the depths of his mind, which sometimes occurred during Transition.......even if the thing did heal on her own body, the thought of placing the scar on her own eye made her wrinkle her lips and bare her fangs to the darkness

Stealth stared at Enya, keeping the scar on his right eye concealed with that eyepatch. He had no idea of what to think. He looked back at Jade and shook his head, disagreeing with the consequences.

"I can't do it to the cute little kitten," Stealth replied. "If it is anyone who deserves to feel this agony, it's only me! As for your little tiger over there, I can keep the damn scar!"

Okay, so the scar is out of the question, Stealth thought to himself. He wondered what else could have possibly been on his mind. But it was so obvious. Those glaring eyes. Those ominous stares it gave him. The faint messages it sent to him with a chill down his spinal cord. He knew that this was what he wanted. If not this, then what else could have bugged him?

He knew what he was about to ask, but he just wanted to see the expression on Enya's face, letting her know that she could continue another day without the scar of his only friend's blade. He looked toward Enya's direction, just to see the level of content in her eyes, if there were any.

Enya raised her head and looked at Stealth astonished by his answer, what being in thier right mind would turn down a chance like that? Enya yawned showing the full extent of her fangs to Stealth is this a trick or does he speak the truth she thought to her self

Jade was about to speak when Enya interupted her I wish to speak with him....gift me with human speech! Jade lifted a thin eyebrow at Enya, then spoke to Stealth "Perhaps your decision has made an impression on my partner, for she now wishes to speak with you...strange indeed for she despises the language of man!" Jade paused for a moment "If you do not wish to hear her, I will not grant her the gift..."

Enya stared at Stealth showing no emothion in her cold amber eyes, she couldn't alow her self to not since....no, I can't allow myself to remember that time...I can't allow myself to fall again into that black hole of self-pity Enya had trained herself, without knowing, to hide most all emotions, except hate.

Stealth shifted his eyes, which met with Enya's prosaic expression. He had no idea of what to do. Perhaps she's reflecting upon something, Stealth said to himself. Emotionless people questioned him, riddled him with flooding queries. He didn't know what to do.

He turned back to Jade, but with a gawk, as his face was distorted from the confusion he was undergoing. Enya sure didn't seem like a friendly creature at all. At least not when he first saw her. He remembered her snarling at him at the first moment they met.

The crowd was still watching ambulances and fire department fending off the aggressive fire, sending the building down to its flaming doom. Stealth remembered that he should stay quiet.

Stealth placed a hand on Jade's shoulder and smirked, as he reached his decision, "Sure, I guess I could have a word with the old feline. But remember, you still have a wish to grant."

Jade nodded "Very well." as Jade strode past him she mumbled something to the effect of "It's your funeral."

Enya sat tall and bared her throat to Jade I am batty to be going thru with this! she thought. Jade's hands glowed a crimson and she grabbed the large cat by her throat, cutting off her air and lifting her to the sky "narshabi whacci saropa!" Jade chanted the words softly, her eyes glowing a faint blue. Enya could feel her eyes growing heavy, the process of speech no longer induced fear, especially since someone trusted was at hand.

Jade lowered the limp cat softly to the ground "breath my friend...." Jade stepped back as Enya took in a deep breath and began to cough and sputter "Jade, you get closer to killing me everytime you grant me that!" The Panthers voice was silky and pleasant to the ear.

Enya faintly remembered Stealth and turned to see what his reaction was to the process before she spoke "You." she growled "There are only two reasons some one would turn down thier desire....a good reason...and the real reason." She shook her fur into place "Explain your self, because one who has killed as much as you must be cold indeed..." the panther knew what she was saying could be rude, but there was no angel on her shoulder, no voice telling her right from wrong like there had been so long ago.

Stealth held out his pistol and scratched his temple with the barrel of the gun, as his face distorts into a state of confusion. He archs an eyebrow at Enya and smirks, "I'm sensin' some anger." Stealth lowered the pistol to his side, the barrel pointing at Enya. "I'd expect a little more appreciation of what I've done for you."

Stealth chuckled a bit, as he began his explanation, "Just like why you wanted to speak to me, I have two reasons as well as to why I spared you such a grotesque mark." Stealth sighed and placed the pistol back in his belt. "First, what's the point of making someone feel pain when you can't complete the process? Pain is just step one of murder, and step two is the actual death. Now without a step two, my giving you the scar won't be as necessary as it could've been, now could it?"

Stealth thought about his second explanation, as he knew what it was. He knew what to say, he just didn't know how. Would they think he's crazy if he explained. Well, he already killed for a living, so who would care if they thought he was a bit off of the edge? He lowered his head and mumbled out a few words.

"Secondly," he began, "there's the eyes and the voice and the mind and the... the..."

His words stumbled as he tried to find them, tried to put them in their place. It was hard to admit what to say, because they all seemed absurd at the time. Stealth quickly tried chaning the subject, trying to avoid the second reason, "Why in the hell do you sound so mad at me when I prevented you from being even uglier, huh?"

He knew it wouldn't work, but it was at least worth a try. The joshing insult could throw her off, unless it was really urgent that she knew his answer.

"Well as for the anger get used to it...thats a constant mood for me, and as for the scar...it would only reflect my inner appearence!" She turned her back to Stealth "Beauty on the outside cannot change a creature as cold as I!" a hint of sadness seemed to linger in her voice.

Jade felt the tension and decide to do something "I am interested in these voices and eyes you speak of...tell me more of them."

Enya's fur on her neck rose, she saw eyes and heard voices too, but she knew who they belonged to, and no magic could ever help her escape them.
"Why...." she growled aloud "Why wont you let me be child!" Thoes haunting orange iridescent eyes, thoes of someone long past, but not forgotten.

Stealth thought, What was there to explain? He didn't know who or what the eyes belonged to, and if he knew, he sure wouldn't make his personal business known to just plain old anyone. Tiger was lucky because they bonded, found common fields with each other.

Stealth turned to Jade and thought about what he would soon say, then spoke. "You know, I don't just tell plain 'ol anybody about my personal business."

The eyes appeared again. The eyes weren't quite as scary and disturbing as before, but he knew it had something to same. In an ominous tone, it admonished Stealth, "You can tell her anything. Let her know that the eyes belong to someone looking for you. Tell that little barter that these eyes will be the last pair of eyes you'll see when you kick the bucket."

Stealth had no idea of what to think. The eyes requested for him to explain, but his mind told him to refuse. Maybe another day, but not now. He had no idea of what to think, but there was Enya. She was the one suffering with eyes as well.

"Geez, what's wrong with you?" he asked as ge turned his attention toward Enya.

Enya ignored Stealth "Why...why does he still plauge me after all these years Jade...He's dead...I saw...I felt him die!" anger and sadness echoed in her voice "I do not know...perhaps sense you and Stealth have the same troubles you can solve your enigma together?" Jade was trying her best to have Enya at least comfortable with their new partner.

"No...his troubles are not the same...he may see eyes but they are not the same that trouble me, they have no meaning such as mine...which is to torment me for the rest of my days, for my terrible deed!" Jade just shook her head.

Stealth turned to Enya and shoved her, after being quite offended from her remark. "Whatta ya mean 'my eyes aren't dangerous'?"

Stealth knew that those eyes had been haunting him. Sure, he knew it wasn't the same person that had been haunting Enya, or at least he hoped it wasn't.

The moment he shoved her, he knew that he was instigating a situation. He knew exactly that this would be the uprising of a quarrel. He stared at Enya, awaiting her physical reply from his shove.

Enya's lips curled back and she bared her fangs at Stealth a full growl rumbled from her stomach. She launched herself from spring loaded legs and landed on top of Stealth knocking him back, she raised her paw, claws extended, for a blow but was kicked off. Enya sprang to her feet "You may have killed your friend, but do not test someone who has killed her own son!" She charged at him and used her body as a ram sendidng him rolling.

Jade watched waiting for a good time to freeze the cat in her tracks.

Stealth sprung from off the ground and tackled Enya down to the ground, a surpise attack. He stayed on top of her and held a fist up, but smacked her nose instead. As he got up, he intentionally used her as a stepping stool up, hearing her moan as he squeezed some of the air out of her. He knew that this was bad, but this was the type of thing he lived for.

He held his hand on his pistol, though neglecting his sniper rifle for so long. But that was for long distance situations. He kept the pistol in its place with his shell turned to Enya. He knew that Jade was disappointed in his actions, but it never mattered to him. Heck, Tiger would probably approve of it if she were here.

He turned his neck to Enya and spoke, "Not all sons are what you dream of them to be. Maybe he needed punishment or something." Stealth chuckled a bit, shaking his head. "Whatever happened to sending him to timeout or locking him up in his room?" He was taunting, he knew it. Not to upset her, but to lighten the situation. He didn't want to become the peaceful type, but if he had to work with Jade, he might as well should try with Enya.

But it was no use. What was the point? A snapping turtle and a tiger?

Enya growled low "You...D...don't understand...." she grunted. Suddenly her muscles tensed up beneath glossy fur, and a feral scream was released from her mouth "He'sss....near!" her eyes were wide with fear and then she dropped to the ground limp.

Jade looked at Stealth fiercly "What did you do!" she cried, she rushed to her friends side "Enya...are you ok?" no response "ENYA!" the body began to rise "Thank the gods, I thought you were...." The panther chuckled in an odd, deep tone "Dead?"

Jade backed away, but not quickly enough, the panther lept onto her digging it's claws into her shoulder "You?!" Jade gasped as she looked into the flamming orange eyes "Yes...it was only a matter of waiting until my mother became to weak to hold me back!"

Stealth was at a loss of words, but not of himself. He charged after the possessed Enya, only to receive a claw to the face. Stealth staggered back, holding his cheek. A rushing river of blood was visible along his cheek.

He wanted to shoot at the creature, but Enya would go down with whatever was claiming her.

"Uh, Jade?" Stealth asked? "Do you have any idea what is happening?"

"Yes...Jade, tell him whats going on!" the panther sneered. Jade dug her fingers into the panthers ribs giving it a massive shock of electricity. The panther reared and fell onto its back screaming in pain "Kavik...he must have had a spell put on him before he was killed...now his essence resides in Enya's body....I should have known!" there was hate in Jades voice for her own mistake.

Jade stood up and waited for the panther to regain itself "Leave Enya, you mad cub!" the panther just chuckled "Sorry princess...who are you to give orders in this situation...I will finish what is left of my mother if you try anymore of your magic tricks!" he hissed.

The panther sat up straight having Jade's full attention "Now you must have know the Dark mage put an incantation on my master as well...I shall go wake him from his dormant state..." Jade narrowed her eyes "why are you telling me this?!" the panther shook it's head "Beacaus you get to sit back powerless, as I bring back your worst enemy...your feelings toward Enya make you weak(chuckles) as do all feelings of love and care!"

Stealth looked on, wondering what was going on. It was apparent that this form couldn't be stopped. Stealth couldn't believe, he felt so... so... inferior! NOTHING could aid him into overcoming the feeling of killing Enya. He would've but he couldn't. But Enya's words rang through his ears like a church bell. "Explain your self, because one who has killed as much as you must be cold indeed..."

Oh, I'm a cold son of a b*tch! Stealth thought to himself. He literally took that remark as a challenge, not an inquiry to be answered. He held out the handle to his blade and mashed in the button, which drew forth his glowing kitana blade.

"Well Enya, why should someone like me hold back from my desire? This one's for the best!" Stealth yelled.

As if there was any hope fo himself, he charged after the possessed Enya, but what would stop him now? The possessed Enya was too fixated on Jade!

Jade saw Stealth's oncoming attack over the panthers shoulder

no I can't let him kill this panther, Enya is still somewhere inside she thought to herself.

Jade's quick glance caught Kaviks attention and he jumped straight into the air, avoiding the attack, and landed behind Stealth "I suggest you not try anything of that sort again...I happen to know of someone your quite fond of, a little female might I add!" he smirked evily "Wouldn't you like me to pay her a visit...because I can do that if you don't settle yourself!"

Stealth gradually turned his head with the eyes burning with the emotion of rage and the desire to dispose of. As he stared at the possessed Enya with those scolding eyes, he held out his blade and pointed it at the possessed body.

"You don't know sh*t!" Stealth yelled in anger. "And apparently, I don't know who you're talkin' about!"

Stealth knew who was stuck in the back of his mind. There was no way, though, that this guy knew the one female that could accept him for the murderous dog that he was. Stealth was challenging the enemy. If, by any chance, this possessed state knew the female, he swore he would eliminate this beast as soon as possible.

Kavik smiled showing his fangs pleased with the reaction "Oh...such a reaction for not knowing what I'm talking about....pehaps a description of her might jog your memory?"

Kavik turned to Jade "You might want to have a chat with her yourself princess...she is the descendant of your royal advisor...the shape shifter (turns to Stealth) I also happen to know she posesses those powers as well." Kavik paused taking in a large breath "Let's see Enya has had visions of her a time or two...what did she look like again..." His voice was sarcastic and tauting "Oh yes, quite pretty she was...long brown hair...brillant green eye's......ring any bells yet, or should I keep going?" he hissed to Stealth

Jade's looked to Stealth questioning him silently.

Stealth kept his weapon pointed at the possessed form of Enya. He sneered at her, with a curled top lip to come with his expression.

"No, I want you to keep goin'!" Stealth replied with a snap in his tone.

He knew that Kavik was on the right track. It was all a matter of if Kavik knew.

Kavik flared his nostrils "Very well....she has a scar on her chin that you know about...and one just below her collar bone , that you do not know...a product of a sniping from her past." Kavik's tail twitched slightly "And lets be frank, no one wants to hear about her gory past...I only know little things, but I do know that she exist in this city...and in the back of your mind!" He smiled

"How would you know all this Kavik?" Jade hissed. Kavik turned to her slightly "Easy...I know all my dear." He turned back to face Stealth "If you do not believe, then I guess she will pay for your mistake!"

Stealth smiled a bit, thinking of Tiger's stories. He knew that Kavik pinpointed the person in the most obvious way.

"You know, just to entertain me, tell me of her gory past," Stealth stalled. "It just pleases me to know that I have a friend that'll be exactly like me!"

Stealth placed his glowing blade in his belt and looked at Kavik with an arched eyebrow. He didn't know what to think now. The very person that he knew so well was known by some other person who she possibly didn't know herself?

"So what are you saying?" Stealth asked the possessed form of Enya. "Are you saying that you're God?"

"Oh...I would never be so bold as to say I'm a god." Kavik chuckled, then closed his eyes, he listened for a moment his ears swiviling, pinpointing a sound.

Jade had slinked over beside Stealth and spoke in to him "this breed of panther has amazing hearing abilities..." she paused as Kavik spoke

"ahhh...she is having one of her nightmares as we speak..." he opened his eyes "The one of her first kill......it was a snake, a mutant...shot him right between the eyes." Kavik opened his eyes, he only had to bluff his way thru this now, he doubted Stealth knew every story of her past.

Kavik's ears swiviled like tiny radars "Ahhh...whats this...She calls out for you in her sleep...wouldn't it be a shame if you couldn't protect her...if you weren't there for her?" He lept to the edge of the building, turning to hear what comment Stealth might have.

Stealth sneered at Kavik and whispered something to Jade off the side of his mouth, "Well, this breed you speak of is about to become extinct in a minute!"

Stealth looked back into the spiteful eyes of Kavik, as he held a hand tight on the handle of his blade. "You know, you may be right. I don't know who you are, nor do I care!"

Stealth drew out the handle to his blade and mashed out the button. The glowing kitana blade stuck out in all of its glory, luminating the scene. Stealth looked over to Jade and gave her an admonishment.

"I don't know what feelings you had toward Enya, but you might want to cherish them dearly!" Stealth began, "Because this heel will learn that there is more than one way to skin a cat!"

Stealth held out his blade and charged the possessed Enya, without any thoughts or care in the world. Whether this would cut his life short or allow him to proceed further, he couldn't allow anything to happen to Tiger. He knew the feelings he had for her. She was like a sister to him, possibly even stronger than that! And the very fact that there was a threat to the only one he cared about made his life in such an ominous shake. He wouldn't want Tiger to be ended this way. Never would he want her to die.

He came closer and closer to Kavik, his blade out and his other hand on the handle of his pistol. He pulled the pistol out and fired at the form, yelling through every shot made...

Jade was grinding her teeth, for all the moments in the world to forget magic spells this had to be the time she forgot.

Kaviks eyes widened and his nostrils flared, a bullet pierced his ear and he screamed in rage and pain. there was no way he could stop this oncoming attack, he would have to avoid it. Kavik leapt for the closet building, catching the very edge with his claws, he scambled up "Very well you have made your decision...I have chossen to kill her slowly...so you can watch her deteriorate before your eyes!" he chuckled and smirked at Stealth "Won't that be lovely?"

Jade tried a fireball but Kavik only ducked it "Nice try princess....maybe you could try that the next time we meet, which I assume will be soon?" He let out a demonic laugh and lept off the opposite side of the building into the dark streets below.

Jade looked to Stealth "he's bluffing...he won't do her any physical harm...tonite anyways......Panthers like him don't like the day much and dawn is coming upon us fast.......he's going to put a curse on her....thats what he ment by all that non sense." Jade shook her head "It is hard to protect someone from something not visable."

Kavik was not far from the scene he had exited "hmmm...perhaps this shape-shifter might be of some use to me....if I could only get her to give up her powers..." he paused and clicked his claws on the cement in thought "I shall put some sort of curse or spell....perhaps her human beauty is what she prizes." Kavik sat up "The spell will be cast first...then I shall find my master and awake him!"

"Maybe you're not that worried," Stealth began, "But Tiger is the only living person in this world that I can actually trust!"

Stealth ran as fast as his legs could carry him. His sped made it seems as though the wind were trying to prevent him with several strong pushes. But Stealth had to fight it for Tiger's sake. For her own good.

He looked back, hoping that Jade would be right behind him to help him in his conquest to preventing Kavik from reaching Tiger.

"Curse or no curse," Stealth said, "This panther will have to go through me before going through Tiger!"

so....the girl is real....this could be interesting Jade thought, she bit her lip then finally decided to follow, of coarse for Enya's sake...not Stealth's. She ran along catching up her feet barely touching the ground. "Killing the panther will do you no good...killing is not the answer to everything you know...this Tiger , what would she think of your actions?" She yelled to Stealth.

Kavik moved speedily through the night, knowing he would be followed. He scented the wind...he only had to find her dwelling place to curse her then he would be on his way, once his master was waken...everything would end, especially that sassy mouthed princess.

Stealth looked back at Tiger with a snarl on his face and his eyes glaring in anger, fireballs visible through his emotions, "GET OVER HERE, JADE!!!"

His voice echoed through the streets, as if anyone could assume that there was a marriage arguement going on in the streets. He continued his run, looking for Tiger's apartment. A hobo crossed his path, but Stealth just barged through him with a single shove with his shoulder.

The hobo dropped to the ground, but Stealth had other things on his mind, and hobos just weren't one of them. Tiger was in danger in his mind, and there was no way he'd allow anything more to happen. COME ON JADE! DON'T SLOW ME DOWN!!!"

Jade flinched slightly as Stealth screamed at her "Get over her?" Jade gasped "How could you even say such a thing...How would you like it if I just stoped here and told you to forget the girl!!" Jade didn't stop but sped up instead, this girl could be the fate of her life as well.

Kavik neared a building with rows of balconies "Hmmmmm.....which one, which one....." he ran his tounge across his teeth. Two of the balconies were open, both had lights on. Kavik scented the wind, both contained a female's scent "Well...I think the room to the right....if it is not then I shall kill the resident." he jumped up from balcony to balcony making his way to the top.

Stealth had reached his destination, it was the balcony of Tiger, but the balcony of someonone else. He noticed a figure on top of the balcony, and Stealth reached for his sniper rifle. Before he would attempt to shoot, he looked over to Jade.

"Look Jade, I know what I said was kinda... er... well..." Stealth hesitated. "Okay, it was pretty hurtful. But Tiger is the ONLY person I can trust in this world. After one friend turned on me, it was all over. I lived for years in misery, despair. What more could I do. (chuckle) I almost killed Tiger once, but that was when we first met."

Stealth was lost in his words. Trips down memory lane comforted him in s many ways. "Just learn that I'm not a dependable type of guy. I like things done my way and I like doing things solo. But if you were to have ever told me to forget about Tiger, expect a bullet to go through you, as well as through me!"

Stealth shifted his attention back to the figure, watching it perched atop, trying to enter which balcony. He held out his sniper rifle, aiming right at the head of his target... Kavik. What would stop him now? This was opportunity. This was chance! But knowing how Jade felt, he expected a reaction to his new goal.

Jade pushed the barrel of the rifle down with a finger tip "Look...it is not your place to kill that panther...." She lowered her head "Besides releasing him from that body...well it might be what he wants...it will give him the freedom to take over someone elses body." She sighed "The balcony he is entering is that hers?"

Kavik could feel Jades pressence "Well there will be no stoping me..." he crawled on his belly like a snake into the apartment "Now....the girl where is she?" he whispered to himself "A drop of Enya's blood should do the trick...perhaps that beverage on the counter?" he hissesd to himself "But first I must see if she is the one."

Stealth slowly shifted his head toward Jade with a cold stare and stares her down for some seconds, then speaks. "Not my place to kill the panther? And in what way is it not mine? He or she or whatever the hell it is is going after my only friend in this world... and it's not my place?"

Stealth raised the sniper rifle back toward the target, but it was gone. Kavik was no longer in his sight. "DAMN!" he yelled. "You had me pass up an opportunity of a lifetime! Tell me Jade, which balcony did he enter? The one on the right or the one on the left?"

He awaited the answer. He wanted to know if Kavik's senses were strong enough to know which one lead to Tiger. He was hoping that he entered the wrong balcony, and it was a possibility. But how? He was like the figure that crept into everyone's nightmares. He knew everything and where everything was. Stealth slowly lowered the sniper rifle to his side and placed it on his shell. He reached in his belt and pulled out the handle to his glowing kitana, then mashed the red button to withdraw the glowing kitana blade from the handle.

He slowly turned the kitana blade, staring at its glowing beauty, then looked back at Jade. "I'm gonna ge to that panther, one way or another!"

"The balcony to thr right..." Jades voice was submissive "She is my only friend as well...we go back farther than you could ever imagine...and tell me how it is your place!"

Kavik sniffed around, he peered around the corner of the kitchen, and into the living room "ahhh....That is her!" he watched girl, paint over a blood stain on the wall "hmmm...she could be dangerous." . He crept back into the kitchen on silent paws, and hoped onto the counter "Heh....this has worked out so perfectly...If i can persuade her to give her powers..." He chuckled silently. Kavik slit open Enya's paw pad, and began to chan a few words as the blood disolved in the liquid.

"I see the blood all over your hands, does it make you feel more like a man, the pistol shakin in my hands, and all I hear is the sound...." Tiger's voice was lost in the music of her head phones, she rolled the volume up further on her CD player and continued to paint the walls, totally oblivious to the danger in her own house.

Stealth scratched his head in sarcasm. "Gee, how could this my place in all of this? Let's see... it's MY ONLY FRIEND who's only in danger of her life. But I guess that isn't so big, now is it?"

Stealth sneered at Jade and rushed to the balcony. He lept up in the air all the way to the balcony and hung on to the ledge. He pulled himself up and saw Kavik spying on Tiger. He could hear Tiger's music boom through her headphones, then whispered, "Those are some powerful headphones,"

He knew that his next action went against everything that Jade requested. But he wasn't going to kill Kavik... at least not just yet. He wanted Kavik to suffer for his intentions. For the vile threats that he pinned on Stealth. Stealth didn't care for Jade's request anymore. He knew that Jade was probably right behind to watch him. He would think that Jade knew what type of merciless creature he was.

Stealth, then thought of Enya. Her cruelty toward him. He couldn't pass up an opportunity like this anymore. He wanted to prove her wrong. Enya doubted the darkside of him, the mischevious little devil that broiled in his blood. He was upset of the thought and took opportunity by the neck. He centered Kavik's leg into the scope and whispered something to Kavik, which was not meant for him to hear, "Why don't you draw blood the hard way?!"

The shot went off, the boom echoing throughout the room and throughout the entire neighborhood...

Jade stood back "then you shall learn the hard way...your killing tactics will not prevail!"

The bullet pierced the pnthers leg and a spray of blood landed on the wall behind it. Kavik turned and screamed at Stealth before he skittered off the counter and darted into another part of the apartment.

Tiger dismissed the gunshot as part of the bass in her music, but the smell of fresh blood and a fired gun caught her attention and she turned her head slightly just in time to see a creature streak into her bedroom "what the...." she pushed the head phones off "D*mn...I can't even leave my balcony open for five seconds before some pitiful, injured creature comes crawling into my apartment!" She noticed the flecks of blood on her new carpet and some on the freshly painted walls "Thats it...I'm not waiting for the critter getter on this one!" she growled

Stealth kept his eye on Tiger in the shadows, making sure not to suspect a thing. But he knew that she was about to face danger to the fullest. What crossed him was anxiety, fear, anger, ferocity... something in him wanted to end this all, but how? How?!

He krept into the apartment and hid behind Tiger's kitchen counter. He noticed her following the trail of blood, as her music continued to blare through her headphones.

Stealth sat on his rump and loaded up his pistol, bullets spread across the floor everywhere. He knew that this was his moment to shine, to show Jade that no one interferes in his affairs. What Kavik did was over the line. To capture Enya's body was one thing, but to threaten the life of one that meant so dear to Stealth was even worse.

"I hope you burn in hell this for..." Stealth whispered to himself, speaking of Kavik. His pistol was loaded, his glowing kitana was always at his side, and his sniper rifle wasn't a necessity at the moment. But what was a necessity was for Tiger to live. Where's Jade when you needed a bit of nagging? Stealth thought to himself.

Jade stood back silent watching Stealth prepare himself for battle, she would not warn him anymore...she was going to let him learn the hard way.

Tiger watched a black tail slide beneath her bed "thats on helluva rat...." she whispered to herself, being to involved with what was under her bed she was oblivious to the fact that Stealth was in her kitchen. Tiger crept in her room on hands and knees, preparing to morph if anything went wrong, but she was willing to settle this in a civil manner if the thing could speak her language.

Beneath the bed Kavik licked the wound, it had already begun to heal. Kavik peered out from beneath the bed should he attack or befriend? This girl obviously had a lot of influend on Stealth...perhaps if he became friends with her she would keep him from trying to kill him.

Stealth krept from behind the counter and saw Tiger on her hands and knees, attempting to peek under the bed. Stealth wanted her to see what she would be getting into, but he couldn't allow for anything to happen.

He knew that Kavik was under the bed, otherwise, Tiger wouldn't be so fixated on what's under the bed. He slowly approached Tiger, reached out his hand, and tapped Tiger directly in the shoulder with the barrel of his pistol, attempting to catch her attention.

Tiger Froze in place, How many things were in her home tonight? Insticts told her to take action when she saw the pistol out the corner of her eye, but it held some familiarity to her. Internally she laughed at herself How could I ever forget this, when i have come literally face to face with it? She thought. Tiger noticed she had been holding her breath the entire time and she let it out slowly "Stealth?" She dared not turn her attention from her bed.

Kavik prepared for action, but noticed the girl was still. Why has she stopped? He peeked from under the bed trying to see, but to no avail.

Stealth knew that Tiger had figured him out, and nodded his head as she continued to look under the bed. "How did ya know it was me?" Stealth asked. "Oh wait, was it the pistol that you noticed? (laugh) Anyway, I guess you got something down there to look at, huh?"

Stealth rested a hand on Tiger's shoulder, using her as a sort of stand to lean against. Stealth ***** back his pistol and starts looking under the bed with her, "I hope you don't mind if I take a look for myself, now do you?"

He knew what Tiger's answer would be, and if it ended up the answer he didn't want, he'd still end up looking without her consent. But Tiger wasn't the type to push him off. At least he didn't think that. But he noticed the massive tail sticking out of the bed and crept beside it.

He held his pistol by his side and lunged a giant foot forward, then intentionally stepped on Kavik's tail with a huge stomp. Stealth had his pistol pointed at the tail, just in case Kavik came out. That moment, Stealth would capitalize and there was nothing that would prevent him from taking opportunity's offer when it knocked on his door.

Tiger shook her long mane of hair "Sure...it's always nice to have some one help clean up the scum under the bed!" She sat back on her legs.

Kavik thought for a moment about chewing his tail off...it wan't his body, but he'd still feel the pain...so that was a deffinite no. He pushed his head up a bit and felt the bed move ahhhh...these beds are not bolted down like the ones of my time he thought. Kavik pressed his shoulder blades against the bed and with all his strenght tossed the bed backwards slamming Stealth into the wall of the room, and slipping his tail from beneath his foot. Kavik dashed over to Tiger he widened his pupils to make them look more fear induced "Save me...Please, don't let him kill me!!" He sat down behing her pretending to be using her as a shield

"Whoa...just a sec...whats going on here, and could you pleses get from behind me....your stepping on my hair!" Tiger was in a state of mass confusion.

Jade watched the scene and fell into a fit of laughter.

Stealth shook his head at Kavik, almost in disappointment. "So, you can't fight your own battles, so you need a giiiirl to protect you. You're a pathetic bully, you know that?"

Stealth placed the pistol back in the belt and approached Tiger slowly, his hands in front of him in a stop signal. He knew that any sudden movements could be fatal, but he had no idea what to do.

"Instead of involving Tiger in all of this, why don't you just let her go and fight me mano y mano." Stealth wanted to sound as calm as possible, but when his best friend was in trouble, it was kind of hard to do so. If only Jade were here, what would she do? And why was she just standing outside? Did she not believe that Stealth could accomplish his task?

Stealth paused and looked at Kavik, behind Tiger. "Accept the challenge? Cuz Jade needs Enya back and I need Tiger back!"

[Storm Wolf]

"ok cat explain yourself!" Tiger growled. Kavik had nothing to say, he remained silent and still standing behind her. Tiger reached back and grabbed the panther by hiss scruff, then she slamed him on his back in front of her "D*mn straight having a girl like me protect him....that is if I don't decide to kill him for his silence!"

Jade entered the apartment when she heard the thud, but she did not interfere, not just yet.

Stealth stood from his crouching position to a mor relaxed position. He shook his head at Kavik in disappointment and just felt ashamed of how much Kavik seemed as a threat. "You know, you should really pick the people you play with!"

Stealth held out the handle to his glowing kitana and withdrew the blade. He pointed it at Kavik's throat and snickered. "I'd truly hate to be you right now."

He held up the blade and was ready to swing.

"Stop...I will not let this happen!" Jade walked in closer "You musn't kill him..." It was the destraction he had been waiting for, Kavik slaped Tiger across the face digging deep into her cheek.

Tiger wouldn't allow such a thing to go unpunished and she was upon him before Stealth or Jade could do a thing. It was now hard to tell the difference between the two panthers in their death struggle. Both panthers separated then froze in mid charge.

Jade had her hand held out "you will obey me!" She shouted "Or else you will remain in this most uncomfortalbe position for the rest of your days!"

Stealth didn't know what to think. This was all too disorientating. He tried to see a way, but could only see those eyes again. Dammit, they haven't bugged me for so long! he though to himself. Those eyes he swore was behind him, but now was haunting him.

Stealth dropped to his knees and held his head, trying to get the image of the eyes out of his mind. They clung on to his mind for all it could. I told you I would be back!!!

Stealth bowed his head, his body trembled. He shot his head to the ceiling and let out a gigantic yell! The eyes disappeared, he was standing in a room full of silence. He didn't know what to do. He felt somewhat embarrassed, but what could embarrassment do to him? He was an atrocious freak of nature. There was no thinking out of vanity at this point.

"What the hell?" Stealth asked himself under his breath. He stared at his hands, wide-eyed and wondered what those eyes would do next. He hadn't seen them in so long. Why come back all of a sudden?

"I can be civil if you will let me go." Tiger promised, her eyes followed Jade, it was the only part of her that could move "Very well...but we must find something to contain this panther...I can only hold him for so long."

Tiger wasn't to concerned with the panther, the Witch or whatever she was seemed to have the beast under control for the time being. Tiger put a hand on Stealth's shoulder "Hey...you ok?" Tiger was giving him her friendly, concerned look.

Stealth looked up to Tiger and shook his head slowly, a disturbed look on his face. "That's the last thing to describe m..."

The eyes came back, but the visit wasn't as painful as it usually was. The eys stared at him, piercing through his mind. I got a surprise waiting for ya.

Stealth opened back up his eyes and stared at Tiger, "I ain't okay worth a bit. And you know what makes this even weirder? Whatever is trying to reach me has a surprise for me..."

Tiger arched a brow contemplating on what Stealth had said "Hmmmmmm...."

Jade interrupted from the side "Touching....but can we get back to this panther....I can't hold him forever..." She was shaking, holding still.

Tiger glared at her "Watch who your talking to...This is my house if anyone will be giving orders it will be me!" Tiger growled

Oooh, cat fight! Stealth thought, but declined the mental image to pop up. He walked between the two and held both of them back.

"Now Jade's right. Enya is in there somewhere, and we have to get her out. Anybody got any ideas as to how we can about this?"

Tiger looked at Stealth "Ok....an explanation on the roof." She turned and stared at the holes in her bedroom wall, then pushed her fingers through her hair "Whoever breaks the next thing answeres to me!" she growled. "Will ropes hold the cat?" Tiger asked, and Jade nodded "Yes....temporarily."

Once on the roof Jade explained her current situation "So how did I get brought into this?" Tiger eyed Stealth and crossed her arms, trying to seem angry, like she hated the idea of another adventure.

"Oh don't give me that look!" Stealth said to Tiger. "I didn't do anything. Well... maybe I did. It was this pussy cat right here that messed it all up. I risk my neck to save ya, and I get the evil eye?"

Stealth tried to put up a smile, but that was something he didn't do well. Instead, it ended up a very sickening smirk. "I didn't break anything! That was just the cat over there."

Stealth didn't know what to say next. He looked over at Jade with a stern look and demanded that she find rope. "We're gonna need some rope. I don't know what Tiger has kooked up in this hole she calls home... (looks at Tiger with a grin, then looks back at Jade) but try to find any, if possible. By the way, where do you keep all the rope, Tiger?"

Tiger smiled back at Stealth "Hmmm...rope, now where do I keep it? Lets see...was it in the closet? no....I got it....be right back!" She dissapeared temporarily, then came back with rope and a string of christmas lights "Well i figured why not make 'em look pretty while we have him tied...no but really all I have is this little piece so I had to improvise..."

Jade bound the cat's feet with what was provided, while Kavik spat and chomped at her hands.

Tiger stared at Stealth for moment, thinking "Hey wait just a sec....you call my home a hole, and just where do you live?" she narrowed her eyes and grinned.

Stealth stared at Tiger with a sly look and an arched eyebrow. "That was just a joke... Martha Stuart! Look, can't we forget about the apartment's, the apartment's... eh, it's 'looks' and just get on with the matter at hand? Here, we have a possessed feline and some Christmas lights to hold it."

Stealth looked at the rabid Kavik, as he continued his struggle to break free. Stealth looked over at Jade, "That's some tyin' ya did there. How about we put a missiletoe above him and put a star on top?"

Tiger glanced over at Jade "So...how do we go about this?" Jade shrugged "Thats where you come in.." Tiger raised a brow "What do you mean by that?" She then looked towards Kavik "I have no clue what to do here!"

Jade walked over to Tiger and looked her in the eyes as if trying to decide something "Yes...I can see Tala in you...your features...your powers...." Jade trailed off

Tiger glared at Jade "And just who is Tala, may I ask?" Jade smirked "Thoes sepants told you nothing of your past? My dear, the humans tricked you for so long....Tala is your real biological mother." She paused "Did you think they really would have kept you in the war if you were just a plain human?"

Tiger's anger fell, she couldn't believe her ears "So then...I'm no really a mutant?" Jade answered her swiftly "You are still a....mutant....the heat power you possess is not natural...but the shifting powers are natural."

Tiger looked to Stealth trying to find an answer she knew he didn't have or at least trying to find some comfort that he still excepted her if this were the truth.

Stealth shrugged his shoulders in confusion, he had no idea what to think. And who was Tala? As if he knew what to say in a situation like this. "You know, I'm not the comforting type, Tiger."

He slowly approached Tiger in sorrow and placed an arm around her shoulder, "And right now, I think that trait will still stand. I have no idea how to comfort someone in finding out that they are the daughter of a person named Tala. I usually am not pitted in these situations, if you could understand that. Hopefully, you can."

He noticed he wasn't helping, so he had to do whatever popped up in his head. He darted his head to Jade, "Explain about this Tala to Tiger. As if it weren't bad enough that you popped up with this Tala bullcrap. But who is this person you speak of?"

Stealth didn't think that would ease the tension in the room, but he had to do something. It was the most that Jade could do for Tiger, seeing that she had just filled her with these overflowing emotions. Stealth had become impatient, become worried, and angered. He always saw Tiger as a strong person, but now she looked so emotional. So vulnerable. Jade needed to answer some things, and answer them now!

Tiger leaned on Stealth letting his body support some of her weight, she felt a bit faint, all the signs had been there since she could remember...that the scientist and doctors were not telling her the truth, she had just chose to ignore the facts.

Jade looked at Tigers face "Do not be so distressed, my dear...your heritage is a proud one...Tala was my closest friend and confidant. She was a great warrior in her time as well, though she never did like the battle field too much." Jade smiled as she recalled the old friend "She was the only one who could stop Kavik and his clan in the old days....as her spawn I would think you could continue on with it." Jade wanted to approach Tiger but Stealth was still beside her like some huge bodyguard.

Stealth grunted at Jade, as she attempted to approach Tiger in comfort. He felt more than Tiger's weight on his shoulder. He felt her pain, her sorrow, her distress. He had no idea how to feel though. You'd think you had your life straight, until the slightest update alters every single d*mn thing. Stealth thought to himself. He nervously leaned his head against Tiger's and attempted to hug her, but refused to let emotions take him that far.

"Ya heard Jade," Stealth said in a comforting voice. "She said your 'ol lady is a fighter. She could defend herself, just like you. I mean, didn't you see the way you had that big furball held? You were great against that big cat."

He felt as if his words were not affective at the moment. The attempts, he felt, were just a waste of his time. But he noticed that this was the first time he put someone else's feelings before his. Strange, I never saw Tiger like this! Stealth thought to himself. He couldn't think, he could only wish to transfer her sorrow to his.

"No need to go emotional about it. I know the scientists lied to you all this time. But just put it behind ya. You got a mom, and she's a pretty tough cookie. And for all we know, she could've been very beautiful. What else could explain your beauty?"

Stealth knew he had taking comforting to another level. Tiger was his sister in spirit, to him. He would say anything to make things right, even if his words were a bit shocking. But as to go as far as her beauty? It was peculiar, but it was out of desperation to ease Tiger's mental nervousness.

Tiger nodded slightly to Stealth's words "Well...(long pause)...nothing has ever stopped me from being who I am before....not the millitary... and definatly not some lady I have never met before." She tried to comfort herself with her own words, but she couldn't conceal what she was feeling from herself.

Jade commented on some of Stealth's words "Indeed your mother was one of the most beautiful in the land...but she never took to much pride in that..."

Tiger noticed Kavik still raging "Well...I guess it is sorta my duty to make sure this city is clean of other huge cats...it is my territory."

"There ya go," Stealth said. It was about time that Tiger snapped out of her emotional state, or so he thought. He lifted his head up and looked over at Kavik, as Tiger continued to lean her weight against him. He stared at the rabid animal, snarling, snapping, and wriggling.

"Calm down there big fella. (demands) You need to calm down!" Stealth warned the angry Kavik.

Stealth looked over at Tiger and spoke to her, "Eh... this situation can get a bit startling at first, but you can tough it up. You're the, the, the rough one of the family. And if you can knock slugs like this guy out, then be proud of yourself. Because no other girl, (looks at Jade) well, besides you... (looks back at Tiger) can defend themsleves like you. No matter what you see on the TV, you're the real deal. Be proud."

Tiger moved closer to Kavik, "What shall I do with you?" she teased.

Kavik stoped his snarling "Let me go." he said calmly "Ha! why...so you can try killing me again?" Tiger replied. "No I have an offer for you...one that might spark your attention..." Kavik hissed to her "Why should I ever trust you?" Tiger growled.

Kavik motioned for her to come closer and Tiger hesitated "Oh come now...I can't do much..." She moved in closer "I can make all thoes little dreams come true, my dear...you want to be human? Have a family? Raise a child? (pause) I can make it all happen." He whispered "If you forfit your powers to me..." Kavik smiled slyly to her, he had captivated her interest, he had her full interest "Go on..." Tiger said aloud.

Oh come on Tiger, are you this naive? Stealth said in his head. He had noticed Tiger's interest and decided that this was something that Tiger had to decide on her own. If she was pulled into this offer of his, she would be a damned fool in his eyes.

Stealth inches his way over to Jade and whispers to her, "Do ya think she's dumb enough to actually accept this guy's offers? I think this kitty has done more than enough. He needs to be groomed, and I mean NOW. You're the magical one, do something to get Tiger out of this damn spell!"

He stared at Jade with an arched right eyebrow. Hopefully, she would comply. But who knew? Women were so complex at the moment...

Jade crossed her arms "It's no spell Stealth...Tiger has to decide this on her own...you want to help her, make her a better offer, I know to little to save her in this instance."

"Do you hear his words....he knows nothing about you're dreams, nor does he care (pause) come we can both gain from this." Kaviks words made sense to Tigers eager ears, he promised her something she had longed for, and for so long.

"I've got a better offer for ya, Tiger." Stealth remained standing by Jade. "Keep your powers, and you can remain in a world that appreciates all that it has. Keep your powers and be able to live life as freely as you want. Keep your powers and be able to see another day, and actually look forward to it. Keeping your powers will help you be able to keep all that you have. But if you so choose to hand your powers..."

Stealth looked at Jade and nodded his head, then looked back over at Tiger. "If you give them away... you will live in a world of total chaos, of darkness. You will live in a society that runs as servants to this contemptible king. If you give up your powers, you will forever live in a world where you will be harmed physically and damaged emotionally." Stealth shook his head in disappointment, then spoke again. "The choice is yours, Tiger. But let it be known that if this world DOES live in a world of agony and pain, that guilt wil build inside of you. In your soul, you will convince yourself that you were the cause of a dead child on the street or a dying person that could've been saved pass away to the afterlife. Don't make the wrong decision, Tiger. Make sure you're proud of the decision you make. Are your indulgences worth ruining this world? Look at my world. It's bad enough as it already is... do I need for it be any worse?"

Stealth had hope that his words had somehow got to her. The only way to see was to read her reactions to his words. Were the powerful or were they inadequate?

Tiger turned away from all of them "Two paths...why must I always put aside my dreams for others...for those who no not of my existance..." She trailed off.

Kavik could see that he was loosing her, but Jade interrupted his attempt to gain her back "My Dear, It can't always rain, but the sun can't always shine either...being what you are, your dark days will outnumber your light days...." She approached Tiger and stared into her face.

Stealth looked at Jade with a jealous look, "You know, you should've said that a bit earlier." he whispered to her.

"Tiger, I don't know what further to say. I've spoken my opinion and honestly, everyone will be in trouble if you risk the world's being just for your indulgences. Don't fall into temptation, that's all I have to say."

A plan had been forming in the back of Tiger's mind This could be my chance to take this panther...an inside job...I can do this, but i must find a way to tell the others without alerting the panther....

The plan was the only thing tempting her, she had never been that trusting to take an offer that quick from a stranger. "Alright, kitty...I'll tell you what, how about if we join forces first?" She turned to face Kavik.

"That would be grand...I would need someone with your strength and courage to help me gain this land...this world back!" Kavik smiled at Stealth and Jade, rubbing it in that he had won Tiger's favor. "I wan't you to let me go, then I have a task for you....so you can prove your loyalty" Kavik added.

Tiger sighed well...i can't blame him for wanting to be sure I'm loyal...wonder what my task will be... she thought.

Jade's eye's widened "Don't you dare let him go...." she growled to Tiger "Stealth...stop her......do something!" she shouted.

Stealth charged at Tiger and tackled her to the ground, it was the only idea that popped up in his mind. What else could he have done? He looked over at Jade with a crooked smile and looked over at Tiger, "Sorry Missy, I just can't let you do this. The world depends on us, and you're throwing away all our lives for yourself!"

Stealth thought everything was under control, "You want to be loyal? How about to the people that truly care about you? This guy, whatever his name is, doesn't care about you. He doesn't care if he were affiliated with the devil. All he wants is this land so that he can enslave our souls, including YOURS. Sure, you can align yourself with him. Be pals, chums, but where will it get you? Straight to hell because this guy will turn on you quicker than you can blink."

Stealth held out his pistol, as he attempted to pin Tiger to the floor. With one arm free, he pointed the pistol at Kavik's tied-up figure, "As for you, I'd suggest a simple 'shut the hell up!' Tiger doesn't need you. She's got people like us to help her through these times So back off!"

Kaviks Tail lashed back and forth in apparent anger "Instead of making her choices for her....why don't you let her decide what she wants?"he growled, then he turned his attention to Tiger "You do what you want....not what they want!"

Tiger struggled a bit trying to make it seem as realistic as possible "yes...let me make my own decision!" She looked Stealth in the face "Trust me...This decision is for the good of everyone!" She said it in such a way that she hoped Stealth would catch her drift, but not so that Kavik would.

Kavik sneered "You see, she has loyalty to me now...Listen now Tiger enough of this non-sense...kill him, he'll only become a problem further down the road...."

Tiger's pupils shrank "K...kill him....S...Stealth.....err...."She hesitated as Kavik nodded eagerly, how was she to get out of this one?

"Kill me? Are you crazy?!!!" Stealth asked in shock. "Now Tiger, how could this be good for anyone! "

Stealth pulled out the handle to his glowing kitana blade, but thought of what Tiger said. "This decision is for the good of everyone." How could that be? Or was there a bit of trickery up her sleeve. He thought of this then, then understood it all perfectly. He quickly gives Tiger a wink and pretends to go along with it.

"Yeah Tiger... in order for you to show your loyalty," Stealth began. "You have to 'kill me'. Do you got that? C'mon and kill me. Show your loyalty to this big fat kitty cat!"

Stealth withdraw the blade, but he knew how to control it. He would make sure not to make any contact with Tiger whatsoever with the blade. Otherwise, it would be curtains for the friend.

Tiger transformed into her usual panther form "Not here....Let's take it to the streets!" She growled. She launched herself headfirst over the side Oh....I hope this plan works... She thought.

Jade had no clue what was going on "Stealth are you going to go through with this?"

Stealth tilted toward Jade and snuck a few words to her, "Don't worry, me and Tiger are crazy like this. I don't think we're really gonna battle, but just keep Kavik thinking that so that he could believe she is loyal. Yes, this plan is pretty much crazy, but go along with it... kay?"

Stealth snarled at Tiger with evil eyes and pointed out the room. "Let's do this on the balcony, baby. I'm ready... and I'm poised to kill. Let's go kitty cat. Whatta ya got?"

Jade didn't trust the plan that seemed to be forming but she accepted it and nodded "Alright Kavik....while there taking it out on each other, lets have a few words of our own..." She grabbed Kavik by the ruff and dragged him away from the view of the balcony.

Tiger stood on the Balcony. "Lets do this!" an odd sneer replaced her usual smile, and she extended her lethal claws, for show, as she waited for Stealth's first move.

Stealth stood in his fighting stance and clutches the handle of the glowing blade with both hands. He pointed the glowing blade at Tiger and growled at her. "You want to prove loyalty to that big overgrown lion? Okay, we'll see where loyalty lies."

Stealth swung the blade, but intentionaly missed, as the blade landed on the solid ground, right beside Tiger's foot. He looked up at her with a sly grin and lifted the blade back up. He thrusted the blade toward Tiger, but stopped it before it could make contact within inches of Tiger's diaphragm.

Tiger reared back snarling, keeping it realistic, then darted through Stealth's legs trying to knock him off balance. "Well see where you lie when I'm finished dismembering your body!" She smirked, This is kinda fun, she thought

Tiger bit her lip a little harder than she had expected and the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth Thats what we need, a little blood will make it realistic she thought to herself

Jade pressed her hand against the big cats airway "So...why are you so intent on taking your mothers body?" She asked

Kavik gasped for air "Why do you think princesssss?"

Stealth saw the blood on Tiger's lip, but he couldn't let Kavik see any sign of concern for his "foe". Stealth approached Tiger and swung at her with one arm, and pounded his chest with the other to make it look and sound like he punched Tiger. He watched her react as she stumbled back. Good acting, Stealth thought. He backflipped away from her, but those eyes returned!

Remember the surprise? the eyes told him. Well, here they are!

All of a sudden, a flury of bullets whizzed by and shattered the glass of Tiger's apartment. He charged to Tiger and tackled her to the ground.

"Stay down!" Stealth demanded Tiger as the bombardment continued.

Who's doin' this? Stealth asked inside his head.

Tigers pupils widened "Stealth what's going on here!" her voice was small and she wasn't sure if Stealth had heard her or not.

Jade flung herself to the ground, confused by the sudden spray of bullets.

Kavik saw this as an opportunity to free himself, and he chewed the first set of Christmas lights of his front legs, and began working on the back ones

"Just stay down! Stay down!" Stealth demanded, as the bullets continued to spray the scene. Sirens went off and the screams of the innocent initiated. The bullets shattered all that it could come in contact with. But who would be gunning for Stealth? He knew no one else. There was nothing he could do to put the piece to this puzzle.

How do you like the surprise? those eyes asked Stealth in his head. Stealth didn't have a split-personality. He was no schitzophrenic. There had to be something interrupting his flow of thought, emitting messages in his head. But who could be so talented as to do that? There was no one he came close to. No other person he knew. The only person he knew was dead, and the MAU was destroyed as well.

"Tiger, just don't ask questions. This is not good, that's all I have to say," Stealth said. He pulled out his sniper rifle and tried to locate where the bullets were coming from through the scope, but the darkness consumed too much. It was nearly impossible to detect the assailant. "So much for proving loyalty, huh?"

Tiger nodded "Yeah..." She flattened her ears and crouched closer to the ground, the cool of the cement blacony gave her the chills. "Err...should we inch our way inside?" She aked Stealth. She stared off into the dark trying to see with cat eyes what might be there, but the night was even to inky for her.

Kavik flattened himself to the floor and crawled over to where Jade was crouched "Is this your magic wench!" he growled "No...honest..." Jade was frightened by his sudden closness to her, she had only but a few feet of an escape route, and he would surely catch her if she tried to take it.

Stealth continued to stay low, until the gunshots stopped. At that point, silence filled the night. Trails of smoke, left by the shell attacks, had left Stealth wondering what was going on. This was just too much for him to bare.

"Stay down," Stealth had sternly commanded. He slowly peeked his head out... no reaction. He kept his whole body up, and a quick shot came out of nowhere, hitting Stealth directly in the shoulder. Stealth dropped to the ground, ignoring the bleeding and the bullet.

"Whoever it is must not like me," Stealth told Tiger. "I'ma get to the bottom of this, if it ain't the last thing I do. Maybe you should fall back and help Jade with the possessed cat in the back. I'll get to the son of a b*tch."

Stealth looked at Tiger, awaiting her reply.

Tiger wrinkled her nose and bared her fangs slightly, showing her displeasure "You know I dislike backing out of a situation such as this, it's against what I was taught...what if should choose to stay?" She narrowed her eyes wondering what Stealth's reply would be.

Jade tried to scramble away, but Kavik quickly advanced on her "Where are you going?" He hissed, and Jades only reply was a swift kick to his jaw "Sorry Enya...if your still in there that is...."

Stealth looked back at Tiger with a little smile, pleased with her disobedience. "If you somehow manage to survive, remind me to kill you for this. Stealth said jokingly at Tiger. Stealth looked back up, wondering when the next bullet would come through and pierce his skin. His blood continued to drip on the floor, next to Tiger.

"If you want to come along with me on this little journey, then be my guest," Stealth said. "But don't forget that Jade still has Kavik to deal with. You have a choice, come with me and we can try to find out about this surprise giver and leave Jade alone with Kavik, or you can help Jade and learn more about your mom. Your choice, cuz I'm not trying to put pressure on you. Right now, the pressure is more on me!"

Stealth chuckled at Tiger, then looked back off into the night sky. "You know, we might need your great sense of smell. Then, we can track the son of a b*tch down and eliminate him so easily!"

Kavik snarled and lept onto Jade "Not very princess like!" blood dripped from his mouth and nose "I'll have to humbly return the favor!" He growled, and lifted a massive paw "Uhhh....a little help here!" Jade yelled.

Both of Tiger's ears swivled in the direction of the plea for help "Err...." she hesitated, not knowing what to do "Look...you do whatever you feel you need to do big guy...I'll catch up later, this won't take long anyways...."

Tiger slithered across the floor on her belly in case any bullets might happen to fly her way, onr ear listening to any reply Stealth might have, and the other listening to her target.

Stealth just looked on, as Tiger continued to slither into the room. Stealth peeked his head out, hoping that the assailant wasn't there anymore. Stealth looked on, over the ledge. He had to think fast, Let's take a risk! Stealth said to himself.

He quickly sprung up and hopped unto the ledge, then soared all the way to the building where the array of bullets launched. Stealth clung unto the edge of the building, then pulled himself up to the building with all of his upper strength.

It's just you and me pal! Stealth yelled in a rage. "Come out and fight!" But Stealth recieved no response...

Tiger peeked into the room that contained Jade and Kavik I can't go right out and attack Kavik...I still want him to think I'm on his side... She thought to herself. Tiger looked up, above the scuffling pair was a shelf containing various jars and pots "Thank god for thin walls..." Tiger hissed to herself as she entered the next room.

Kavik opened his mouth wide and lowered his head slightly for a killing bite, but a loud thud paused him "What...?" he looked up with seething eyes just in time to see the falling ceramics.

Tiger entered the room to see Kavik lying unconsious on the floor "Yay! it worked.....hey Jade you ok?" Jade sat up wide eyed "yeah....yeah, I'm fine....." Tiger nodded.

Stealth's presence was the only one visible, but not the only one felt. He clutched the handle to his glowing blade and looked off to see where his assailant was. He mashed the red button on the handle to withdraw the glowing blade from the handle. He used the glowing blade as his source of light through the darkness, searching and scouting for his target.

"There's no one else here! Come out and fight!" Stealth yelled in anger. "You don't shoot at me and expect for an idle response. I expect for you to come out and show me why you deserve to even shoot at me!"

Once again, Stealth received no reply. This was irritating him in the worst way! Stealth pulled out his pistol and fired it in the air. "I am not going to request this... I am going to DEMAND this! Come out now, and fight me like you tried to do, you coward!"

Stealth popped the gun more and more, but he still had no reply. Who do you think you are? Those eyes came back, asking him the question. Who do you think you are to challenge me? You screwed me over, now it is time I return the favor!

A shot exploded, but a bullet could not be detected. Stealth quickly turned around and held out his blade, and skillfully deflected the bullet. "You'll need to do more than that to take me out!" Stealth yelled.

Tiger tapped her foot impatiently "I used to watch my neighbors pitbull when he went on vacation soo..." She rummaged through her closet "Ahh...here we are!" she pulled out a short chain "If this don't hold him, nothing will!" Tiger handed the thing to Jade "You tie him up good this time....ya hear?!" Jade nodded and went about her work.

Tiger stepped out onto her balcony, back in panther form, and sniffed the air cautiously "Nothing unusual to my knowledge..." She sprang onto the roof keeping low to the ground.

Stealth looked around, but could still find no trace of an assailant. How was this happening? There was a hidden assassin, and was more driven on killing Stealth than showing his or her own face to Stealth.

"I prefer to keep myself in check," a voice emerged from the shadows, but with a voicebox. "You are not even worthy enough to lick my boots. What makes you think you can even hear my voice."

"Apparently, there's something you like about me!" Stealth replied. "Otherwise, you wouldn't be so bent on taking me out. So, explain yourself! Why are you after me?"

"To attend to affairs, my dear..."

"And that is supposed to mean...?"

"In due time, you will understand. But not now. Now, it is time you understand the afterlife!"

"Why won't you show yourself?"

"I'll make sure to do just that... when I see you in hell!"

Just then, another shot exploded, and this time... the bullet reached Stealth!

Tiger's eye's adjusted the black of night, but still not enough to see much. At the sound of gun fire, she pushed her ears forward trying to estimate where it might have come from. "Well wherever Stealth is, thats where it will be near..." She whispered to herself.

Tiger made her way towards Stealth as silently as possible, hoping to catch a glimpse of something. "Stealth..." something was moving in the shadows ahead of her, she scented the oncoming breeze and was relieved of her tension. "are you ok?" she whispered as she positioned herself near him.

Stealth looked over from the building to the balcony nearby, way far back to see Tiger. "Shhh!"

But that single moment of being caught off guard had hurt him. The last shot missed, but not this one. This one hit him directly in the chest. Stealth stumbled back and fell to the ground, clutching his chest. He felt the warm feeling of blood. The metallic smell, it was his blood.

"I told you that I would finish you... I was always a man of my word, Stealth!" the voice told him. The form stood over Stealth's fallen body with a pistol held out at Stealth's head. The figure had on a mask, to keep his or her identity remaining a mystery. "I don't plan to fail twice!"

Jade came up behind the preoccupied Tiger and touched her flank. Tiger spun sround prepared to strike then recognized her "Don't ever do that again if you want to live!" Tiger growled.

"what’s going on?" Jade whispered

"Stealth's in trouble...." Tiger paused unbelievably calm "Can you work some of your magic here....I need to get in close to be of any help."

Jade nodded "One round of Fire coming up.." she watched Tiger veer away from her before she began to form a flame in her palm

Stealth gave the masked assassin a confused look, "'Fail a second time'? Who the hell are you?"

"I'm everything you wished I wasn't Stealth!" the voice replied. "You see, actions are but a cycle of reimbursements. You execute a negative action and it comes back to bite you when you're down!"

"Who are you?"

"Don't play dumb Stealth. Oh wait, that is your natural character! Well, it's time we cut this character off...... partner!"

"REX!"

The figured laughed maniacally, then cocked the handgun back and prepared to fire.

Jade hesitated maybe I shouldn't get involved She closed her palm holding the flame tightly.

Tiger inched up behind the figure What is Jade doing....oh screw it! she was about to pounce when the figures scent drifted to her Funny this seems familiar she thought. Tiger shook her head this was no time to play a guessing game, this thing was putting Stealth's life in danger! Tiger decided upon an attack, she sprung toward the figure.

Rex looked at the figure spring into his view, and Rex sidestepped out of the way. His mutant instinct of quickness helped him all the time. Rex was physically different now. He was bigger, tougher, stronger, and this was hard to believe... but even faster. His previous speed was the speed of a flash, but what could be faster than that? Rex was always the one to challenge.

He watched Tiger fall, splashing her body on Stealth's bloodied body. Rex stared at Tiger, trying to familiarize this specimen. "I think I recall who you are. I know I've seen you from somewhere!"

Rex tried to think. He remembered the bullet piercing him, and some way, Tiger was involved with it. If only he could remember how. Images came to him, the past, his past. He remembered Tiger now. The very mutant that aided Stealth in killing him, or at least attempting to kill him.

Stealth let out a groan, as his air quickly left his system. The impact did not help him much, for he was bleeding. He rolled over on his stomach in pain, as Rex only laughed. Rex held up a .28 caliber handgun and scratched his temple with the barrel of the gun, "The past becomes my present, the present holds my future, and my future only has good things in store for me. I remember the past, you tried to terminate my future!" Rex laughed. "But now I have returned, enough of time... enough of epochs. I stalled last time in fulfilling my duties. But I dare not fail now... not when I'm this far!"

Rex let out a shot in the sky and quickly cocked the handgun, and then pointed it at Tiger, all in less than a second, demonstrating his awesome speed. "I would have pictured killing two birds with one stone... but not with a bullet."

Rex applied more pressure to the trigger, as he began to pull it!

Tiger cowered back from the voice and from the memories "You..." she closed her eyes not wanting to see the figure, but his image was also trapped in her mind. Tiger opened her eyes her whole body was shaking with the terrible relization of what was going on what am I to do... She noticed that she was leaning against Stealth Well I'm definatly not gonna lay here and die like a little scared kitten her thoughts gave her a little confidance and she stood up "Why don't you just stay in hell where you belong, you dirty b*stard!" She shyed away slightly expecting a lightning counter to her acid tounge.

Jade heard yelling and instead of doing what she was told she decided to investigate. creeping in as close as she could, she listened to the conversation.

"So, you have a bit more fire than you had before," Rex said. "But through your futile attempts of proving your maturity, you are still nothing but a kitten. You are no one... your 'friend' is no one. You can't trust a person like Stealth, because he was raised by a person like me!"

Rex chuckled cockily, then looked to the sky. "I sense rain to come, little one. I sense that the rain will pour down and wash away all the terror, all the fear, the blood, and the tears! It will all wash away the blood of my enemies, my tears of joy, and your terror that once occurred on this rooftop! I wanted revenge in the worst way, and now I think I will make my move. But before you die..." Rex felt the need to be entertained, "I would like you to dance. Not with me, just give me a little performance. Kill my boredom..."

Rex shot at Tiger's feet, causing her to hop from every shot. It was an old tactic that Yosemite (sp?) Sam would use on Bug Bunny. It was classic, and Rex was bringing it back to life! He was humored, tickled really. After the final shot, he laughed hysterically, nearly running out of breath. "You are such a card, yes?" Rex began, "I will remember you as my jester and not my enemy when I visit your body every now and again."

"I would much rather spend my time in hell then be haunted by your ugly face!" Tiger panted "You go right ahead and kill me, it would give me great pleasure knowing you wasted your talent on a piteous creature such as me!" She stood facing him boldly, she was physically shorter than her oppenent in her human form, but that did not detur her. "but I've got one last message for you before you pull that trigger...Kiss This!" Tiger slapped her rear flaunting her audacity in Rex's face.

Jade took this as her cue, and sent a flamming ball in the targets direction.

Rex pulled the trigger and shot her in the rear, then noticed the fireball coming his direction. He quickly jumped high in the air, disappearing into the night sky. The fireball exploded on the rooftop, and Rex landed into the fire. It was over, he fell in the fire, burnt to a crisp by now.

Stealth stared at the fire, wondering if this was actually the end of him. "Tiger, are you okay? It looks like you took one in the *ss there." Stealth chuckled a bit. "I could've sworn you told Rex for HIM to kiss your *ss, not hit bullet!"

Tiger squinted from the pain "Well he didn't get to be the first for that....been shot in the *ss before...won't be able sit down for a couple of weeks now!" She joked "How about you...you gonna be ok?" Tiger bent down on one knee "ooo...thats gonna take a while to heal...." she looked over to where the flames where still burning "Ya know...if he didn't die the first time, how do we know he's gone this time..." Shelooked at Stealth then back to the flames "I say we sweep up any remains, put them in some jars, and mail them to the far reaches of this earth...."

Jade walked towards the flames "Isn't fire grand!" She swept her hands through the flames a couple times.

As Jade swept her hand through the fire, a hand darted out and grabbed her by the wrist! The hand pulled Jade in, trying to burn her in the flames. But instead, he shot his whole body out and kicked her in the stomach.

"No... more... GAMES!!!" Rex yelled.

"Holy sh*t!" Stealth yelled.

Rex pulled out his handgun and shot a flury of bullets in iritation and aggravation. The bullets sprayed all about, and Stealth grabbed Tiger, throwing his blood body on his partner's figure to protect her from the bullets. The bullets attacked his shell, and Stealth sat wondering when the attack would be over.

"How many times must I die for you to follow?" Rex yelled! "Well, I won't give you an ultimatum of either dying or trying... this time YOU ALL WILL DIE!!!"

"Stealth....your...crushing....me...." Tiger gasped, the little stones and pebbles were digging into her arms "Guess it's better than being shot though..." She added

Jade came up off her one knee the pain in her gut was lessining "Now you've really gone and p*ssed me off!" she clapped her hands, sending a bolt of electricity towards Rex.

Rex sharply turned his head to the bolt and darted out of its way. He tumble across the floor from the explosion, and shot a flury of bullets at Jade. "Cheap tricks from cheap tramps!"

Rex smiled, as the bullets closed in on Jade.

Jade waved her hand instantly bringing up an intense wall of flames that melted the spray of bullets on contact "ha...cheap tricks!"

"Cheap tricks versus classical scams..." Rex said. "Get with the program, my dear! Do not preassume the outcome when your facts are but a mere fault!"

Rex charged after Jade in the blink of an eye. He quickly spun around in mid-air and threw a foot at his enemy, attempting to connect with the face of Jade.

Jade predicticted the oncoming attack, even though it was to quick for her eyes to see. She tried side-stepping the attack, but Rex's foot struck her shoulder, popping it out of place. Jade stared towards Rex "Ouch.." he words lacked emotion and tone, using her other free hand she replaced the shoulder to its proper position.

"Stealth...maybe we should retreat while thoes two are beatin' each others brains out..." Tiger hesitated wondering if Stealth would agree to her idea.

"Damn, you must've forgot that I'm hit..." Stealth warned. "Pick me up, and we can get the hell outta here, okay Tiger?"

Rex threw a flury of uppercuts to Jade's chin. After the attack of uppercuts, he spun around and shoved a foot in Jade's stomach, causing her to fly backward. "You want to counter me? HAHAHA... you're too slow to even catch up to me!"

Tiger wormed out from beneath Stealth, she rolled him onto his back and pulled him up by his hands "Alright you'll have to walk with me here...that bullet to the bum severed some of the muscle in my leg...I can still walk on it, but with difficulty."

Jade picked herself up off the ground and smirked "Yes...I am slow, but I have battled thoes 10 times as fast as you..." She growled. Jade lifted her her hands to the sky, chanting some old spell. A lightning bolt flew from the sky striking her in her place "ah...much better.....now you maybe be able to hit me but every time you do, you'll get the shock of your life....!"

"I wouldn't mind sacrifing my pain to cause you even more!" Rex said. "For what is a little pain when you have nothing to live for but the death of others."

Stealth slowed pulled himself up, and tried looking after himself for Rex at the same time. Stealth was finally on a knee, as he was assisted in his getting up.

Rex darted at Jade and rammed a shoulder in her stomach, but took the shock at the same time and flew back some few feet. He didn't mind the shock at all. Though he screamed in pain at contact, he liked it!

"If all you live for is the pain and death of others than you need to get a life, pal!" Jade picked herself up off the ground "You think your the only one who delights in pain?" She quivered a bit her stomach was killing her but she couldn't let her enemy know that. come on you two get outta here already she thought to herself, she had caught on to thier plans.

"Stealth keep your mind on geting outta here, it isn't like you could see him if he came after you anyways....he's much to fast now..." She kept her voice low "How could I have gotten myself into something so deep....I'm such a foolish girl..."

Stealth grabbed Tiger by the collar and pulled her face to his, "You're no foolish girl, Rex is just too much for the both of us. Think about it... this guy has actually got me down. Of all people... me! Don't blame yourself for Rex's skill, he is just far too much for any creature to handle. By the way, what about that big tiger lookin' fella? We gotta check on him!"

Stealth inched his way off the ground, and began to stumble around, trying to reach the balcony of Tiger.

Rex stared at Jade for a long time and noticed a slight expression in his eyes. It wasn't visible to the naked eye, but he was the type to know expressions, he's seen them all. "I have a life, fair lady... yours! And it will soon belong to limbo! There is no need to lie to me, woman! I can sense the pain in your soul. Your stomach churns in pain. It can't stand the fact that it's enduring so much from such a 'lifeless' fool." Rex chuckled, after wiping his brow. "I came for Stealth, now I must settle with two wenches. Fine by me!"

Tiger shifted her weight to one side "Yeah...I suppose your right...."

Jade laughed for no other reason than to shrug of Rex's words "And if you are so strong, why do you wish to end Stealth's life....he is no threat to you."

[R-iZZy]

Rex sneered at Jade, "What I do is of my business and none of your own. Stealth may be no threat to me, but he is etched in the back of my mind like the commandments on stone. Stealth is no threat, assuredly. But I must destroy what I have created. Not for your sake, but for my own!"

"What you created...I am in doubt that anything could be as black hearted as you...even Stealth!" Jade shook her head "What could have possibly gone wrong in your life to make you this cold?" She didn't expect an answer, but still she asked.

[R-iZZy]

"Must I reiterate myself?" Rex began. "What seems to be my business is none of your concern. What should be your concern is staying alive. My heart may be black as the night, but it continues to go on like the putrid civilization of human beings. Stealth was supposed to be dead a long time ago."

Rex pulled out a sword, light reflecting off the metallic blade in the night sky. "I made hence of his eye," Rex continued. "I intend on adding you to that endless list of casualties!"

[Storm Wolf]

Jade did not pull her weapon "I see...your just p*ssed off because Stealth has more than you...as do the humans..." She was trying her best to stall him with words.

"I don't know how much longer Jade can last..." Tiger had reached her balcony "Perhaps I can try something a friend taught me to bring Enya back...it's dangerous, but we need all the help we can get..."

[R-iZZy]

"You know, you're real good with names," Stealth said, as he reached the next balcony with Tiger. "Anyway... tell me, what can we do to get to this Enya? And how do we take care of this situation?"

"You truly attempt to put tears to my eye," Rex began, "But you can only accomplish that with the boredom you give me. You should think twice before trying to tangle with strangers. I guess you seemed to have let that slip out of your mind." Rex stared at the blade and smirked. "I can sense a plan from you.............. you're stalling me. I don't like that!"

[Storm Wolf]

"Well...it's just one of the many talents I have..." Tiger replied "Anyways this method requires deep meditation...I'll be entering the Big Cats mind...I've never done it before so it might be a bit difficult..." She paused to think "I figure if I destroy Kaviks mind from the inside, he'll no longe exist on the outside....but if thats true, the same gose for me as well...."

Jade narrowed her eyes, nothing got past this guy, she nedded to clear her mind compleatly and show no signs of intent. "Well then quit stalling yourself and fight you wretch!" She brought forth her own enchanted blade

"What? Now why would you wanna do a thing like that?" Stealth began. "It's not like we really had that close of a relationship to the big ol kitty. Why care all of a sudden? It's not like Jade has done us any favors, except give you a surprise of whoever it was being your mother."

Rex swung his sword to the ground, and halted as the top of the blade just touched the ground. He signalled for Jade's end, as he made a throat-slashing gesture. He approached Jade in normal speed and vertically swung his sword, but he knew that this attack would only amount to a block, "Wretch am I? Do not tell me what it takes to be a king... you are but a dunce, you wench!"

Tiger paused for a moment "Have you ever made a decision based on gut instinct and not on anger?" She sighed "I dunno, but I just have this feeling that this is something I've gotta do..." She turned head slightly to face Stealth "Besides we could use the bait...err...I mean help....I said help right?" Tiger knew it was a bad time for humor, but she was trying reasure Stealth as well as herself.

"A king must have a kindome, and people to rule...No one would ever want to live under the rule of such a tyrant!" she growled "Besides...you could never earn such a title in your lifetime!" she pressed against his blade with her own.

Stealth looked at Tiger with an arched eyebrow, "Ha ha... very funny," Stealth laughed sarcastically. "All I know is that there are times when you learn to let go. I've let go of too much in my lifetime... and you're probably the only good thing that's traversed my paths. When you're gone, who else will I get to rag on? When you're gone, who else do I get to play around with and have whatever fun my life can experience? Jade can't give me these things, and I'm pretty damn sure Enya can't! She was such a nuissance when we first met."

Rex pushed down on Jade's blade, as she proceeded to push hers upward. Rex sneered and growled, as he brought his face within nose-length of Jade's face. "I could never earn it? I already have it! I'm king among mutants!!! When you are under my rule, you have no options, no freedom. You are obliged to bow before me. Maybe you want to be a radical and oppose my sovereignty... but things like that can get you executed. There will be no courts, no juries or judges. My verdict has already been made clear. YOU... SHALL... BE... EXECUTED!!!"

Tiger held her breath for a moment then let it out with a woosh "Stealth...If it worries you so, I won't do it..." She turned and looked him in the face "But i want you to undestand that I belive in that 'everyone deserves a chance' thing...you know as well as I that it only takes one person, one moment in time to change someones life forever..." Tiger paused and sighed trying to simplify her feelings "If you knew that you could change someones life for the better with just one word, or one action...would you do it?" She put her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it lightly, she wanted him to understand her before he protested any more than he already had "Thats how I felt when I first met you...and thats how I feel now...but if it really bothers you like you say (pause) then I will think of some other way to do this."


Jade spat in Rex's face "No mutant would ever become a subject of yours...nor would anyone else..." She wanted to back down from the fight, she had served her purpose I fear I have already gotten myself in too deep to retreat now...I must pay for my actions...weather the outcome be good or bad.... she thought to herself.

Stealth bowed his head, he wanted to let out a tear, but it was almost impossible. Stealth slowly lifted up his head to Tiger, placing a hand over hers. He bowed his head in sorrow again and spoke in a murmur, though it could still be understood. "I guess I can see where you're coming from. (gulp) I didn't want us to part like this. Hell, I didn't even want us to part AT ALL! But when you sacrifice yourself for the life and second chance of others, that's pretty special. The only person known most for doing that is Jesus Christ. I'll remember your name beside his when I'm feeling down. Go ahead, save... save... oh what's her face? Doesn't matter, you can make the difference. Just remember Tiger, reach for the stars. Let down a welcoming hand to me when you make it to heaven, okay?"

Rex let the spit slide down his face, until it entered his lips. He combined her spit with his, and spit it in her eye, temporarily blinding her. At that moment, he released the blade from the clash and kicked Jade in the stomach. "Thanks for the ammo, love. What are citizens in my kingdom? You are all nothing but peasants, you get no say in this... you get no freedom of speech. Whether you want to be a subject or not, you will always be my servant. Forever, you all will keep my kingdom civilized. But let it be known that revolting leads to execution. Brace yourself, wench! This is the moment of truth!!!"

Rex darted past her and threw a fist into her cheeks, causing her to fly back.

Tiger placed her hand on Stealth's cheek "Hey now...you listen here, If theres a loop hole...if there's a way around my conscience being destroyed along with with Kaviks, you can bet I'll find it and I'll return to you..." She smiled softly "And you thought that you'd be the one to cause me pain, and look what I'm doing to you now..."She shook her head "Listen...If I don't return I don't want you mourning me forever...you hear?" Tiger looked Stealth directly in the face "Now do you want me to explain this procedure to you further...I know it would make me feel a little better if I explain outloud to myself what I'm up against..."

Jade remained on the ground, knowing to rise up would only result in another blow that would send her to the ground.

Stealth slowly raised his head, "Oh, fine... if that's your last request... I mean your current request. I wouldn't mind hearing the mastermind with the masterplan."

Rex slowly approached his foe's fallen body, then outstretched an arm. "Get up... I do not want to appear as a pimp, beating on sleezy women when they are on the ground. Stand and fight! I have yet to send this to a halt! I want to finish this..." Rex pointed the tip of the blade just centimeters away from Jade's neck. "What request will you last make before you meet your ancestors?"

[Storm Wolf]

"Well...as long as I get him, before he gets me I might survive....but keep in mind this is his domain...his own sick little world, and anything goes...meaning I have near impossible odds in there" She peeked in on the still unconscious panther "If I do win this battle, I should be able to return...as long as Enya's cetral conscience dosen't collapse along with Kaviks..." Tiger paused "There can never be a real plan for something this unknown...but I'm trying my best here....now we should probably get started..."


Jade did not attempt to get up "My only request is that you rot in the hell from which you were spawned!" she shouted

Stealth scratched his head in nervousness, his eyes staring intently into Tiger's. He nodded his head in agreement, and patted Tiger on the shoulder. "Let's do this!"

Rex growled like a rabid wolf. "Before I go there, I want you to send me a postcard of how the conditions are in there. Afterward, I will remind myself to pay a visit to your wretched soul." Instead of thrusting the blade forward, he shoved a foot in Jade's face.

Tiger sat in front of the panther, she crossed her legs and made herself comfortable “The most important thing is that you don’t get your hopes up, but you keep your faith.” She looked at Stealth over her shoulder “Your good with being silent so my next request shouldn’t be to hard for you…I need complete concentration, I must focus my energies on one thing…” Tiger took a few deep breaths, then she closed her eyes concentrating on the process of entering Kavik’s mind.

Tiger found herself in a large gray area “Blach…this kitties mind is so bare and dull…” She explored the area, but no matter how far or fast she walked the gray just continued on and on “Well this was a complete waste of my time and ability.” Tiger groaned “Oh I wouldn’t be so sure of that my lady…” She turned to see a tall dark shadow of a man standing before her “Kavik!” she growled “Correct my dear…but the only prize you will be receiving is death! THIS IS THE FINAL BATTLE!”

Jade grabbed Rex’s leg before he could retract it from his attack, With a quick motion she twisted it, trying to cause as much pain as she could.

Stealth sat in anticipation of whether she would survive with success, survive with death, or fail altogether. Please don't fail on me now, Tiger. Just free the kitty from the mean 'ol panther and stay on planet Earth. Stealth said in his mind.

As Jade twisted Rex's ankle, Rex twirled his body in the direction that Jade was twisting his ankle, so that he could avoid the pain she was bound to give him. He released his ankle from his clutches and held the sword over his head, clutching the handle with both hands and the blade pointing downward. He chuckled, as he stood over Jade's body and thrusted the blade downward...

“Your in my mind girly…bad time to try an win a battle!” Kavik pulled out two weapons, a dagger and a full length sword “I’d like a bit of a challenge so here you go.” He slid the dagger to her “Are you prepared to die?” He added . Tiger sneered “Are you?” she retorted.

Kavik swung his blade and it clashed with Tiger’s dagger “You strong…but you will find not nearly strong enough!” Kavik swung high and Tiger ducked then swept his feet from beneath him “Come on…you don’t have to take it easy on me just because I’ma girl…Bring it fur bag!” They continued their heated sword battle until Tiger was disarmed…

Jade tried to avoid the blade but it pierced her right shoulder, she grunted as it made contact with bone, but she still remained silent.

Rex stared at the blade entering her shoulder. He enjoyed the roughness, and decided to push the blade further into her shoulder, watching the blood consume his blade.

"Ah, my fantasies are coming true!" Rex yelled. "You will die like the rest."

Rex wanted to slide the blade over throughout her body, but decided to just torture her with the single blade going deeper and deeper into her body. Just then, Rex was tackled to the ground by Stealth out of nowhere! Stealth stayed on top of Rex's body and threw a flury of punches to the face. Rex pushed Stealth off and felt his lip, bleeding profusely.

"You wanted me Rex!" Stealth outstretched his arms. "Well, here I am!" Stealth invited Rex to yet another confrontation.

"I will have to dismiss you both from life at once. Is that it?" Rex asked tauntingly. "I'll make haste of this situation!"

"What did you do with Enya's conscience?" Tiger growled. "Nothing...she did it on her own...see for yourself..." Kavik stepped aside revealing a young women crouched in what seemed to be a corner "She let me take over....my mothers mind was weakining...it was only a matter of time before I took over her body!" He Smiled wide "And now it's time for me to take you out my dear!" Kavik sprung onto Tiger and pinned her to the ground "This will be your last breath!" he pressed his hand to her throat cutting of her air.

Tiger gasped for air, her hands flounder around by her side until she found the dagger. With the last of her remaining air, she flung the dagger up into Kavik's chest. Kavik fell back in shock, he pulled out the blade and a river of blood gushed from his chest. "Things like you don't deserve second chances....much less a third!" Tiger crossed her arms "You haven't seen the last of me shape shifter....I will have my revenge!" He coughed "Rot in Hell!" Tiger growled.

Jade pried the blade out of her shoulder "What are you doing here Stealth?" Jade growled, she was a bit peeved that she had just taken a hell of a beating, just so he could return and get himself killed.

Stealth shifted his direction to Jade, "He came for me. He created me, and now he wants to ki..."

But while Stealth was attempting to make an explanation, Rex flashed in front of Stealth's eyes and connected a right hook to Stealth's face. Stealth's head forcefully turned to the right, and his abdomen felt the push of a quick foot, forcing a lot of carbon dioxide to exit his system. Stealth flew some feet in the air and dropped to the ground.

Rex quickly ran to Jade and snatched his blade back, then punched her in the face for good measures. He quickly ran back to Stealth and smirked, as he stood over his fallen body. Stealth sprung back to his feet, only to receive an extremely forceful push to the chest, causing him to stumble back. As he stumbled, Rex swiftly ran toward Stealth and attacked him with a soaring, back-heel kick to Stealth's face. Stealth dropped to the floor with plenty of rolls on the ground to exhibit the intensity in the attack.

"This is just a ridicule to my knowledge of combat... GET UP STEALTH!" Rex yelled.

Tiger sat up bolt right, taking in huge gulps of air, her eye’s wide “Your alive! I was worried…you stopped breathing…you had no heartbeat (pause) you were dead…” Enya’s voice, the panther was standing just to the side of Tiger

“How did you get out of those chains!?” Tiger panted

“That’s not important shape shifter…tell me, where is everyone?” Enya spoke eagerly.

Tiger searched the room with her eyes “Oh no….Stealth must have joined Jade in the battle!” Tiger stood up, to fast, her world spun and she fell. “Easy…that mind link you executed took a lot out of you…..you should rest.” Tiger shook her head and tried to stand again “No….they need us!” she fell once more “Very well then…I can’t stop you….but try morphing it might help some with the dizziness.” Enya advised. Tiger did as she was told, but a stunning black wolf with brilliant green eyes stood in her place, not the usual panther “I think I’ve had more than enough panther for today.” Tiger growled “Now lets move!” Tiger dashed towards her balcony as only a blur to Enya “Was she always that fast?” Enya followed.

“This is just great!” Jade spit out blood from Rex’s latest attack “What happened to Tiger? She run out on us?”

Stealth looked over to Jade, "She's trying to set Enya free from her son! I don't know how things are, but you better go! I'll handle Rex all by mys..."

Rex took advantage of the situation and punched Stealth in the face. Rex turned to Jade with a smirk, "You really have to stop talking with this old chap when I'm giving him a thrashing!"

Stealth tried firing a pistol at Rex, but Rex caught sight of Stealth's sneaky attempt. Rex quickly reached out and snatched the bullet in-between his index finger and thumb. He dropped the bullet to the ground and laughed at Rex. "You are such a medicore assassin, Stealth! I hope you fall to where the others have fallen... to their demise!"

Rex charged after Stealth with his blade, and Stealth withdrew the handle to his glowing kitana from his belt. He mashed the button, and out came the glowing blade. He blocked Rex's metallic blade, and both growled in each other's faces, as Stealth pushed up to the forceful push of Rex's blade.

"You're not gettin' me Rex... not in a million years!" Stealth challenged.

"Of course it won't be in a million years..." Rex retaliated. "It will be right now!"

Jade went about finding Tiger, but she skidded to a stop when a black wolf emerged from the darkness "And just where are you running off to?" The wolf looked back over her shoulder and smiled as a panther strode up next to her "I do believe Enya deserves to join this little party as well!"

Jade smiled "Praise the gods for shape shape shifters such as yourself Tiger!" Tiger nodded "Not without further dely...I believe someone needs our help..."

As Rex and Stealth continued to clash swords, Rex grew more impatient. He wanted his task fulfilled right now! He surprisingly shoved a foot in Stealth's abdomen, knocking some wind out of him and forcing him to bend down. Stealth was now in a vulnerable position, and Rex slashed the sword, but Stealth caught the blade in-between his hands. Though he prevented the attack from slicing his head in two, it still couldn't prevent the sword from entering his hands.

The blade dug deeply into both hands, a stream of fresh, red blood dripping from each hand and staining the sword. Stealth screamed in agony, as Rex laughed and forced the blade even deeper, causing a stream to morph into a river. Rex released the blade from Stealth's hands and allowed Stealth to enjoy a break from the blade. As Stealth dropped on his knees in agony, Rex stood above him with his blade pointing to the ground and his hands held by his side.

"I plan to finish what I started!" Rex began, and lifted the blade above his hand to finish the final swipe... the swipe that would finally end Stealth's existence from life!

Tiger crouched ready to spring upon Rex, but Enya suddenly burst forth heading towards him with obviously the same intentions. Tiger did not call out to her because she knew that would only catch Rex's attention as well.

What are you doing? Tiger thought to herself

Easy....I'm saving your pals life here! Obviously Tiger wasn't the only one in her mind, Enya was there to.

Hey what's going on here?! Tiger thought

ha ha....by entering someones mind you become telepatically linked to them....didn't you know? Enya said non-verbally

I hadn't the slightst clue

Enya lept into the air soaring towards Rex, Tiger remained on the ground not to far off.

As Enya was caught at the corner of his eye, Rex shifted his attention to the flying panther and quickly swung the blade at Enya, knocking her with the heavy handle of the sword.

"What is this? A mutant bash?" Rex asked. "What's next, Charles Xavier? This is ridiculous!"

Rex pointed his blade at Enya, "Who are you and why are you meddling in my affairs?"

Enya smiled showing fangs "That is for me to know....I have to tell you nothing, that I do not wish to share!"

He is strong and quick...but perhaps we can take him if we concentrate all our attacks on him? Enya spoke non-werbally to Tiger

perhaps.... Tiger replied in thought

Tiger had managed to sneek up to Stealth "See..." she whispered "I told you I would return..."

Stealth looked up to Tiger, bloody hands and all. But the hands were his last concerns, as he saw Tiger's face. His eyes lit up in joy and he wanted to embrace her for her safety, but the pain in his hands were still there, whether he attempted to neglect it or not.

"You crazy 'ol fool... you made it!" Stealth yelled in glee. "Don't do this sh*t again! Look at how I ended up just some moments after you left me!" That was but a joke, but possibly this could've proven a point. He ignored that fact and stared at Tiger in amazement. He looked over at Enya and smirked.

"You know she'll get killed if she keeps trying," Stealth said. "Even with her bluffing. Rex can see through that!"

Rex cocked his neck at Enya, then chuckled. "Surely, you are nothing more than a dunce, a joker! Am I supposed to take your strong attitude serious? Make yourself useful and evacuate the premises, before you become the next victim!"

Rex shifted his blade so that light could reflect off of it, exhibiting its beauty and danger all at once. He lifted up the blade and took a glance at his features, quite pleased with what he saw. He lowered the blade to look back down at Enya, then chuckled. "Scurry like the feline that you are. I only wrestle bears, not kittens!"

Tiger nodded "I've already tried to tell her that....she's not bluffing, I don't think (pause) she says she's ready to defend my life, and that she is eternally in my debt." Tiger stared at the ground for a moment "Ay...she won't listen to me..." Tiger growled.

Tiger happened to see Stealth's hands "Err....I can fix that....or at least I can stop the bleeding....of coarse it will hurt worse momentarily." She was remembering her skills in melting things, she had used the trick many times on herself to shut an open wound.



HA....he thinks I'm bluffing Enya thought to Tiger

Well don't take him lightly....in fact don't take him at all! Tiger thought back to her.

"Bluffing....You think I am bluffing? HaHa....Thats a good one....I assure you I am serious!" Enya chuckled to Rex

Stealth gave Tiger a look that seemed to non-verbally say that he didn't think any pain could hold him back. "Tiger, whatever pain you could possibly give me, I can take. And if it's only for a moment, then it's even more contemptible to think of."

Stealth held out his drenched hands, once green, now a pool of red. He didn't want to disgust Tiger, but what the hell? She had killed and she had seen death, blood, and gore. "Just work whatever magic ya got!"

Rex slashed the sword through thin air, causing a slicing sound to pierce the ears of any who were forced to listen. Rex stared back into the blade and looked into his reflection. He looked back at Enya and smirked, "Let us get down to business," Rex began. "You have maxi... I can interpret that from your attitude. But battling with only courage is like battling with only a helmet and no shield or sword. You are not prepared for the worst, darling."

Rex swung his sword to cut a slash through the rooftop. "Do you see this blade? This blade does not kid you. It is the most miraculous of swords. And whether you are bluffing or not, this sword cannot see that. You will get hurt. So do what you panthers do and hibernate or something. The battlefield is no place for you. But if you continue to meddle in my affairs, a graveyard will be!"

Tiger cracked her knuckles, then pressed her small human hands to Stealth's. She added extra pressure to make sure that her palms made contact with whatever skin might be left concealed beneath the blood, Tiger looked to Stealth and made a nodding movement, she was ready. She began to concentrate all her body heat to her palms, she could feel the intense heat being absorbed from her surroundings as well as the inside of her own body. Tiger's cheeks turned a rosy red color and the smell of burning flesh reached her nostrils, and all at once she pulled her hands away from Stealth's "Don't ask me how it works..." Tiger said "It's not anthing like being burned by fire...it'll only burn but for a few seconds now...but at least the bleeding has stopped."

Enya chuckled "Wrong again...I was bred for the battle field! As were my parents....I have a proud warrior background....I have survived the sword, and I will survive it again!"

Stealth swung his hands, attempting to cool them down as he grimaced. His cuts and wounds had been sealed up, the river of blood no longer drenching his hands. "Ah, that's much better!" Stealth said in pleasure.

Rex arched an eyebrow at Enya and chuckled, "Fair child, when you are me..." Rex began, "the battlefield is but a mere playground for mutants. When you've lived the life I've lived, war is but an interactive video game, you get hit... but it's not real! War has breeded me. War has raised me. And for what? Only to be a stealthy assassin, just like that overgrown pond scum... Stealth! His skills are attained from me, but he does not possess as much as I do."

Rex scratched his temple with the blade of his sword, and cocked his head at Enya, "And you, my dear, your best cannot even compare to my worst! I suggest you run back to the days where you fought headless soldiers and unprepared sentry men. I am something you've never seen nor conceived! If you want to be roadkill in my trip to the assassination of Stealth, then so be it!"

Rex pointed the blade at Enya, "You will die if you traverse my path!"

Enya yawned "Death is no longer a threat to me...." Enya paused in receiving a message from Tiger

your playing a deadly game Enya!

I know what I'm doing..... Enya sent her thought in an amused sense He loves to hear himself talk, this one, he has an ego the size of this city itself!

Tiger chuckled softly aloud "Enya's really pushing it." She said to Stealth.

Jade joined Stealth and Tiger "What are we going to do? Can we do anything at all!?" Jade stared at Tiger, who just shook her head "Your talking to the wrong person...Stealth knows more about this guy then I ever will...." both Females turned thier eyes to Stealth.

Stealth looked over at the two with an arched eyebrow, seeing that he was all of a sudden the main attraction after taking a brutal beating, "As you can see," Stealth began. "Rex is someone who definitely doesn't play by the rules. He wins by any means necessary. Sneak attacks won't work because the closest you could get is a scratch. A confrontation is the closest way of defeating him, and one-on-one won't work. If he pulls out a gun....... I suggest you run like hell!"

Stealth grabbed his glowing kitana blade and held it in front of his face, "If all else fails," Stealth continued. "Then I suggest you just lie down when you are down!"

[Storm Wolf]

Jade stared at Stealth and blinked "What do you suggest we do....because It dosen't sound like we can do much at all." Jade shook her head lightly as she spoke.

Tiger was far off from the conversation, her mind had brought her back to the time of her first battle with Rex. Her head was bowed, her eyes closed as she remembered the life and death struggle. Finally after a long silence she opened her eyes and lifted her head "We can't do much at all.....my suggestion is pray....but I don't even think faith can save you here....." Her voice held a distant tone.

[R-iZZy]

Rex stared at Enya's eyes, "Death does not have to be a threat to you, but it can still be your fate," Rex began warning Enya. "I don't intend to threaten you, I intend to carry out my promises. There is nothing you can do to stop me. Your own master can't even match skills with me!"

Stealth stared at Tiger with a face that expressed his agreement with her remark. "To tell you the truth, I believe Enya is dead. But what we can do is attack him as a group instead of a soloist. You can take one man to contruct a building and he'll get the job done. But give him more men, and the building will be up even quicker."

Stealth could almost sense that he was confusing them, so decided to explain, "It's a possibility to get the job done in time with only one person facing him... but it's not a guarantee. If we attack him from all corners, he will most likely crumble. But his speed and his awareness are a b*tch! He can always escape situations with his mutant abilities! Just continue to pray... faith may not be a friend, but it sure is a souvenir that we can use!"

Rex cocked his head to the left, then out of nowhere, executed a picture-perfect spinning heel kick to Enya's chin, knocking her backward. "I suggest you leave... NOW!"

[Storm Wolf]

Tiger nodded "Right....group attack, you lead we'll follow!" she said. Jade opened her mouth to protest "You got yourself into this battle, now you must follow through, and finish it!" Tiger growled "I guess an excusse wouldn't work in this situation would it?" Jade asked, Tiger gave her a stern look and shook her head "Very well!" Jade sighed.


Enya rolled across the ground a few times before "No! I'm quite content on where I am, thank you!" She hissed.

Tiger...I need some backup here, you guys have a plan then you need to excecute it now! Enya said non-verbally

We're trying Enya....just hang in there a little longer, I'll tell you this much, we need to work as a unit in this battle! Tiger replyed non-verbally

Rex slowly approached Enya and sheathed his long blade. He knelt down and eyed Enya, "When I told you to leave... that was not a request," Rex began. "That was a demand! If you fail to comply with my orders, you will die like the rest of these mediocre warriors!"

Stealth looked at Tiger with a nod, "We'll just take Rex all at once. Don't expect for the best results in the beginning of a war. Rex is the type that loves fighting the odds. He's done it in the MAU, he'll do it now!"

Stealth placed a hand on Jade's and Tiger's shoulder, "Just don't make any hasty decisions unless he is on the attack. The best thing to do then is just guard yourselves. It looks like he's focused on Enya at the moment, but it seems he is giving her a chance to flee. Either we take this opportunity now, or it won't come at all!"

[Storm Wolf]

Enya's pupils widened "Why do you give me so many chances? My answer remains the same....no matter how many demands you make!" She growled



"Alright....then lets move." Tiger had regained wolf form, she kept her eyes on Rex "I haven't any weapons....so leave the lower half to me..." She ran her tounge across her canines.

Jade pulled out her blade "Sounds like a plan...eh?" Jade twirled the blade "On your mark Stealth..." She hissed

Rex turned his head from Enya and cupped a hand under his chin, seeming to contemplate on something. After a bit of time, he quickly hopped up and kicked Enya in the face, followed by a rapid combo of handchops, punches, and more kicks to send her flying back.

"Very well," Rex said. "I gave you a chance to live... because you were a mutant, but now I see you as another incompetent, second-rate warrior trying to prevent my conquest of the world!"

"On your mark... get set... GO!" Stealth commanded silently, then rushed towards Rex.

Jade sprung after Rex at Stealth's word holding her blade out in front of her.

Tiger hesitated for a moment lagging behind, She had a bad felling that she couldn't quite put her paw on "Since when have I had a good feeling about something?" she joked with herself. Tiger shook the feeling from her mind and made a dash for Rex, she had decided to concetrate her attacks on the legs hoping to cripple him at least a little....and Rex's calf muscle was her first target.

Rex turned around and noticed the attack coming his way. Rex smiled a bit, as his calves were attacked. Rex repeatedly backflipped out of the way to evade the situation. He darted toward them in a flash and connected with a punch to Tiger's face.

"I dare say, you have made a bold yet foolhardy decision," Rex began. "Following Stealth? How pathetic."

The puch hadn't been enough to knock her down, but Tiger rolled to escape any further attacks "And like following you would be a good thing?"

[R-iZZy]

Rex chuckled, "I never said it would be a GOOD thing," Rex began to explain. "But I would say that it is a BETTER thing!"

Tiger growled "You know not once have I ever seen anyone 'following' you!"

Rex chuckled heartily, "Dear... when the world is mine," Rex began. "The only thing you will EVER see is everyone following me! Too bad you'll have to watch it from hell!"

Tiger picked herself up, and started circling Rex at a distance "Sorry hells not on my agenda!" she growled.

Rex spat at Tiger... "Then make it on your agenda!"

He began circling her himself, both forming a cirlce in their trail.

Enya looked at Stealth and Jade "Well....on with the plan!" She charged at Rex, going for the legs as Tiger had done.

Rex was hit, but on contact of his legs, he jumped in the air and executed a backflip at the same time. He landed on his feet and pulled out two handguns. "Three on three, now we have a fair fight!"

Rex fired the bullets at all three of his targets.

Tiger scurried across the ground "I hate guns!" she muttered

Enya we must keep at it! Tiger said non-verbally

yes but first someone needs to disarm him Enya replied

Rex slowly walked backward and laughed, as he held his guns out.

"Expect this to end as soon as possible and in my favor!" Rex taunted. "This is my night, and no one else's. Rest in peace, for your torment is coming soon!"

Tiger looked for Stealth hoping to make eye contact or at least to see what his next move might be.

Are you looking to play off of Stealth?Enya asked Tiger non-verbally

Yes....I'm hoping his movements might give me a clue as to my next attack.

Stealth looked at Tiger, "I sure hope I can come up with something," Stealth whispered to her. "Right now, I'm fresh out of ideas!"

Stealth shrugged his shoulders and decided to approach Rex. Rex looked at Stealth in disgust and spat at his foot. "Come for more Stealth?" Rex asked tauntingly.

"Save the bullsh*t... just stop this at once," Stealth said. "Or I'll out a stop to this myself!"

[Storm Wolf]

"Great...just great." Tiger muttered

I'm going for it! Enya thought to Tiger

No....You fool! But Tiger thought to late

Enya streaked across the scene and made a leap for Rex's hand.

Jade came from nowhere with a flying kick.

Tiger shrugged and went for the leg once more.

Rex flew in the air, but landed on his feet while skidding across the rooftop. "I am growing even more impatient with you fools! Is that what you want? Then I have something for you all to dodge!"

Rex fired a flury of bullets, that came whizzing toward their direction, yet again.

Tiger dodged the bullets the best she could, but a few skimmed her fur and skin "D*mn....this just isn't working!"

Enya made her way over to Stealth "Well....You think you could try and disarm him? It would help us out here a lot!" She whispered to him.
