I would like them to make other 12" characters instead of more turtles. Especially these versions. They seem to be lacking detail as well. I guess they are making them because turtle figures probably sell more than other TMNT characters. I'm sure they do appeal to some people.

According to http://www.action-figure.com :

"Still whilst the armor appears to be removable on the 12" figures too... they don't appear to have the same level of articulation"

So it seems that it is removable.

Then I'd get Donny, but only because I didn't get him in the original 12" line.

I don't buy the 6' version, so I'm not buying an enlarged version :)

Won't buy 'em......I only stick to one of every 5" figure.

exactly i just collect the 5" figures as well (MOC). Even if i had the money too, i prolly wouldnt spring for the 12" ones...I'd just get 2 of every 5" figure so i could have ones displayed as well as MOC

not gonna bother, I only buy enough 5" figures for my collections.. one of each one at least and more for foot goons...

I sure wouldn't mind a 12" Turtle Titan.

Well... I'd probably be swayed to get the 12" Michelangelo, but I wouldn't bother with the others.

However, when the minifighting gear turtles come out, you can bet I'll get every single one of them...

I'd like to see a highly detailed 12" Leatherhead with removable labcoat and glasses, Zog with removable gear(breathing apparatis) or Shredder with removable armor and Utrom. But I doubt that will happen. I haven't bought many large figures(just Voltron in the 80's and one other many years ago). But if they were to come out with any of these figures I would have to seriously reconsider buying large figures.

I think they are great as a showpeice, but they sure are pricey!

I'd have thought they would have produced the 1st wave in Giant size. Everyone mentions that in terms of kids, only the four brothers sell, but I think a Giant Shredder would fly off the shelves! That and a Giant Foot Soldier would go down well. Giant Casey anyone.... :D

I spose the reason the Fightin Gear is coming out is that they don't have to make a new mold - same 4 turtles but just add on the armor.

Giant Casey would be awesome, but I'd take my custom/kitbashed one anyday.

I'll buy them. I love the Fightin' gear turtles (except those hands, Playmates PLEASE no more hinged hands) and I almost think they should have just originally released turtles with all the extra gear from the beginning. It would be removeable and you'd be able to have a good version of a standard turtle. I ran into an unopened case of TMNT figures in Toys R Us today and the floor person let me open it (i'm guessing because he was too lazy to) and I was shocked. In a case of 24 figures there were a mix of Fightin gear and extreme sports figures, and I saw a single Shredder, Splinter, Casey and April. Now that scared the poop out of me. I like TMNT and I'm hoping against hope that they don't go He-Man on us.

I was thinking of buying the first 12" wave. Are the new ones also going to include their original weapons or just the fighting gear ones?

In all the images I have seen, they have only shown the fighting gear weapons. When they finally do come out it's possible that they might include their regular weapons as well.
