In the intro for TMHT there is an image that appears to be a turtle dressed as Shredder. Tell me, did the turtles ever dress up as Shredder in the old toon, or was Shredder turned into a turtle in the old toon?

oooo yeah. Shredder was a turtle before, he was in Michaelangelo's body for awhile I believe and vice versa. I had forgotten about that episode. But it was more of a mind thing.
The turtles pointed out Shredder was here and Shredder (with Michaelangelo's personality) was wondering where Shredder was

Mikey's dressed up as Shredder before, in the 'Incredible Shrinking Turtles'. It was a cheap homemade version, but I could see mistaking it for Shredder if it was only seen for a few seconds. I don't think Shredder ever mutated into a turtle in the old show.

Shredder just thought he was Michelangelo after he got hit with a beam from his holographic machine in 'Cowabunga Shredhead.' It was still Shredder's body and he still human.
Shredder and Splinter swaped minds in 'The Old Switcharoo' but, again Shredder still looked human. He just has Splinter's mind :)

Probably what inspired the Shredder Raphael

I'll have to keep an eye out for that episode, I just loved the idea of Shredder Raph, I never knew there previously was a Shredder Mikey.

He doesn't act like him. Leo, Raph and Don are training in a park, Mikey leaps out dressed like Shredder. they knock him down and his helmut comes off. Raph asks where he got that supid costume, and Mikey says he made it. A ship crash lands in the water near by, the Turtles go to investigate, and they never speak of Mikey dressing up like that again.

Cowabunga shreddhead and incredible shrinking turtles was the only eps I remember as the turtles being as shredder. Cowabunga just had shredder think he was michelangelo. Incredible shrinking turtles mikey dressed up in a redicioulsly cheap costume of shredder. Were there others?
