Okay, the new DVD with the bonus eps inspired this thread. Which April outfit is the best?
1. Yellow Jumpsuit

I love new toon April's outfit personally. It's trendy. Far better than that gawd awful yellow jumpsuit which made old toon April look like a giant walking banana!

I think there is a diffrence...which is why i voted for red sky april...and that's that she wore street cloths and not that yello jumpsuit...oye....and she's more believable than either other april....a scientist wering a belly shirt and flares...come on....

Exactly.... Even little kiddies are dressed like this now a days. heck... even fat chicks dress this way now... (kidding... kidding... they do though). And that yellow Jumpsuit... well... IK guess since she was a reporter she had to run a lot... so it cut doen on wind resistance... and it helps her show up better on TV when she's somewhere dark...

I know it did sound illogical at first that a scientist would be dressed like that.... I guess she was an intern...

But still./.. new April is HOT... yes... I'm a cartoonist. i get so lonely that cartoons aren't looking to bad to me right now... gleeb!

her look really does make her look like a slut to me I respect your opinion and sometimes I myself think that outfit can't be too practial (you couldn't wear a top like that in the colder months) but I have to wonder, do you think anyone who shows their mid-drift looks slutty? I agree that young kids (under 13) look terrible and yes, slutty, when THEY dress like that because they are too young to be looking sexy, but surely if a woman's of legal age it shouldn't really matter what parts of her body (within reason when it comes to public places however) she decides to show off? A bare mid-drift is nothing and at least April has her boobs covered.

True, but I kinda just meant the outfits and stuff. Although, as Jester pointed out, there is a great deal of difference to them.

There's more care taken when they draw her, she's more doe-eyed and fluffy. That's cute, to me. Even tho I hated her as a kid (I hated all televised women back then because I felt they were all weak somehow) I now can understand how guys coulda gotten a hardon from her. Just as I did with Shredhed. The shape is there, the personality is there, the voice...

Old School April is the best. Despite her yellow-ness. :tcouch:

I liked the old school April best cuz she had the most personality and involvement with the Turtles and their adventures. BTW, I thought when her yellow jumpsuit was drawn right, it looked good. Didn't look as good when it was all baggy and droopy (ya know how some of the animators drew differently for that show). Even tho all version of April are assistants to the turtles and help them out, this version was in the news biz. While that put her into trouble sometimes, it also helped the guys too since she always had lots of info. Tho the new April is cool too. I don't think she looks slutty, and I know kids today dress like that, but still I was alittle turned off how in 2nd ep (1st ep she appeared in), how she wore that under the labcoat. It wouldn't have been so bad had her labcoat been closed all the way. But in the professional world you don't dress like that. But other than that, it's a cool outfit. And she's a cool character.

she even CHANGES her outfits unlike the walking banana April! I think old toon April changed her clothes a FEW times throughout the series. I can't remember what episodes exactly but there were some rare moments where she didn't wear the banana suit. I know in April Foolish she wore a posh ballgown and also borrowed Princess Mallory's dress, and that she wore a bathrobe in A Thing About Rats (I think) but there are certainly a few other incidents throughout where she wore different clothing.
