Rock soldier custom, should i go brown or grey

I didn't know if this should go in the fanworks discussion or toy discussion but it's here anyway and if it's in the wrong place...sorry, any mod can feel free to move it.

Anyway, Iv'e just found my giant box of broken TMNT and I'm going to start work on a variety of custom figures. First on the line is a Traag that's gonna become a Rocksoldier. Just wondering, what colour scheme should i go for? Grey or brown.

If I go brown, I'm gonna leave the majority of the torso the same colour as it is and paint the arms and legs a lighter shade brown. Haven't decided what i'm doing for the head.

If I go grey, I'll sand off the snake on his leg and paint his fists a darker grey as well as his torso, and i'll try to match his face with the colour of his arms and give his hat the darker grey, his boot's will be black and his jocks will be the dark grey.

So what colour scheme sounds better as i like the idea of both equally?

I actually got around to starting on it earlier tonight and chose grey. Letting him dry now, I went with a lighter grey than what I planned as I was out of the shade I was going to use. One thing I can say is that the head looks awesome!! I haven't even got around to painting the helmet yet, that will be done with a gun metal colour. Tomorrow if he's dried out enough, gonna start on the boots and some of the minor detailing then all I have to do is reattach his broken hand (using a round head screw so he still has articulation). Hopefully i'll gradually have access to a digital cammera and will be able to post up pics.
