TMNT/Ranma 1/2

Welcome to the first TMNT/Ranma 1/2 RPG here in the Technodrome! :anime:

In this RPG where going to play in the Ranma 1/2 universe.

Master Splinter and the turtles decide to stay in Japan for a while to train and see the sights.

*we're going to asume that they exsist in the Ranma 1/2 universe. Heck, it works! I mean, the turtles where in New York the whole time, right? :nod: *

*Note* The TMNT are not going to be based on any TMNT universe. They will be from an alternate universe which happens to be the Ranma 1/2 universe. You can still play as any of the TMNT characters from any one of TMNT universes (example: Bebop, Venus, Keno, etc...).

I'll play as Ranma.

while i'm afraid i couldn't commit to playing any particular character... i have to admit that the idea of a TMNT/Ranma.5 crossover has tickled my brain before. if weeks pass and you still find that you are stuck for characters... i know the ranma-verse well enough to pitch in.

but in the meanwhile, i'm gonna share...

I'm glad this RPG is growing with players.

We'll get things started when we have a few more players.
For those of you who want play made up characters, that's fine but I want to keep them limited.

What we really need is players who will play as the turtles, Splinter, Ryoga, Akane, Kuno, Ukyo, Mousse, Genma, Soun, Kodachi, Happosai, Nabiki, Kasumi, etc...

okay... I'd like to join... but all I know about Ranma is that when he gets hit with water he turns into a girl?? Is that it? Do I need to know much more about it than that? If not, then I'll be Don...

Yup, you got the right idea. Ranma changes to female when splashed/soaked with cold/cool water. Being splashed/soaked with hot/warm water changes Ranma back to male.
There are a few other characters that change into something else with the same conditions.

Genma/panda
Ryoga/little black pig
Shampoo/cat
Mousse/duck

If you wanted to play as a Ranma 1/2 character, than it would help to know a bit about Ranma 1/2 (characters and there interaction with each other).
Since you want to play as a TMNT character, than there's no problem! The turtles are not supposed to know characters from Ranma 1/2, so you and your character, Donatello will both be introduced to the world of Ranma 1/2.

Well... I could be Leo, too. Until someone really wants to be him. I've RP'ed as Leo before, so if no one minds... I'll be him, too.

I, also, am anxious to get this RP started. :)

Also, I wanna check out that link, Ryo... But I'm debating that, maybe I should keep myself ignorant of all that for now. Then my reactions as the turtles can be more real!! :lol: :wink:

Ok, people, I know this RPG doesn't have a plot or story to go by.
What I'm going for in this RPG is a story and a plot that is created and developed by the players/characters here rather than just me alone. I see it as being more fun and it allows the players here to get really creative and spontaneous!
Well... for the world of Ranma 1/2, this approuch to the RPG works very well.

Ryoga: *Turns in startled shock! He'd only walked for a few days! and FINALLY this eternal forest had given way to NERIMA!! this was FURINKEN HIGH!! and that was ...* RAAAAAAAAN_MAAAAAAAA!!!

*Ryoga charges out from the bushes that made up the landscaping for the high school, launching himself for an ariel assault, heel of his foot and umbrella pointed at Ranma's head!!*

*Off in the distance the girls' afterschool swimming team is chasing a giggling old man with an arm full of bathing suits.*

Happosai:*racing off to god knows where with the swim team in hot pursuit.* hee-hee!!! STRETCHY, SILKY, SWIMMY DARLINGS!! ALL MINE!!! *his voice fades with the sounds of his angry victims into the distance*

Ryoga: YOU RAN OUT ON OUT DUEL!! YOU RAN OUT ON A BATTLE BETWEEN MEN, RANMA!! YOU DARE DENY ME THE HONOR OF FIGHTING FOR AKANE!?! YOU DARED TURN YOUR NOSE UP AT HER COOKING!?

*Tears of emotion and Ryoga pulls an anime moment and imagines Akane in a shower of sakura petals, dressed in an apron, with a hot meal on a tray. She extends the tray of food towards him in his day-dream.*

Ryoga: (internal) Akane!! I would always find my way home if YOU were waiting for me!!

Ryoga: RANMA, YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT YOU"VE GOT!!!
*Ryoga launches himself at Ranma with a series of RoundHouse kicks!*

Second; who would want to fight for an uncute, tom-boy, gorilla like her!?!
Third; No one in there right mind would eat Akane's cooking! If I wanted suicide, I'd pick a more humane way of doing it rather than eat her cooking!"

*Ranma said as he carefuly dodged Ryoga's kicks.*

(ah some ppl dont know a good rpg idea when they see it... i'll take the role of Mikey and Akane.... hell no i am not doing any romances between her and any of the turtles! unless someone else wants Mikey)


Akane rolled her eyes at the two boys who were fighting once again. She sighed and turned to be met by Happosai.

"Pervert!" she yelled and stomped off to her room. Where was p'chan when she needed him?




Mikey flipped through the channels of his TV lazily and sighed before flipping it off.

"Booooooored!" he said and hung his head over the back of the couch and grinned as he saw a now upside down Don in his lab. "Time for some annoy the brother!" he hopped off the couch and went over to his brother. "What's up bro?"

Don shrugged and went back to typing. Seeing as though Don was ignoring him Mikey shrugged and ran over to the kitchen before seeing some tickets on the table.

"What's this?" he said picking up the tickets and grinning. He picked up the letter with them and read it.
