TMNT Animation Cels

Here are the two I picked up at the comic con I went to this weekend. Sadly the cels are stuck to the sketches.

WOW those are awsome!
I wish I would find some cool stuff like that at a comic book show but hell I'm lucky people even bring turtle comic books let alone anything else.
I don't understand why people shun them so much.
if you ask me there just as good as any other super hero if not better.
btw thats from the red sky episodes....I wonder which one because it really doesnt look like the shredder from that period.
oh wait maby it's when he wa sin the car with april and fought leo on the roof of the car I bet thats the sceen thats from! hehe if so good episode.

I only have one animation cel but it doesn't have the drawing sketch though it does have its background! :twink: Anyway, it shows a zoom-in of Don Turtelli the mobster and Leonardo (facing mostly towards us but their heads slightly turned towards each other) standing in a computer room probably at the Channel 6 News building. There's some kind of tension going on cause Turtelli looks kinda nervous and Leo's holding up his fists in determination. I wish I knew which episode this was used for! :trolleye:

here are 2 of Mine The first one is of donatello I have no idea Which episode it's from but I got it because he's my fave turtle.

The next one if of Rat King I saw it and flipped I love the rat king and just had to have this cell ^_^ not really sure what episode it's from though just like the first perhaps some one could help me out with them.

I'd love to get some animation cells from the old show. I see them from time to time on eBay but I never seen to have any money when they're about. Typical. I'd kill for a cell of Don in his Dark Turtle get up.

Animation cels are definitely cool. Lets you own a small piece of the show. :) I've got four of them, each hanging up on my room. One has Don and Leo walking around somewhere, another has a closeup of Raph, one has Mikey smiling, and the last one has Don looking confused with old school Metal Head cleaning (???) in the background. Never saw an ep with Metal Head in it, so I've got no idea what's going on. I got all of the off of ebay about a year and a half ago. They still pop up pretty frequently, so you'll eventually get one if you keep trying.

By the way, I remember a discussion about animation cels a long time ago, and someone mentioned that the backgrounds aren't usually correct (if you're buying the cels that were originally sold at Toys 'R Us). I don't know if that's true, since I don't know what episodes my cels come from. :???:
