I hope you read this Krang! I have had very good experiences with playing tmnt arcade game over internet. It works with a program called kaillera. It's simple. You just put a server up with the server program and use mame32+kaillera client to play. When people join the server, they can chat and make their own games. The problem is, that cause people live on diffrent part of the world, the comp with the server should have high internet speed. And thats where you come in.

I think you could run the server! I have done it with my adsl connetion, but you cant have more than one game on a server or it becomes laggy... But if you made it, people could chat and procede into diffrent games! That would also fixt the chat problem. People can chat there too! And i dont think it takes too much bandwidt either. It is so simple that everyone can join the chat and make their own games! Nothing wins playing 4 players tmnt arcade game with good people.

It would be perfect add to the technodrome community! I know we can make it work!

Good idea! Problem is, I can't run a Kaillera server off my computer because it's not always on, and I can't run it off TheTechnodrome.com because my host won't let me. I do have an idea though, but I'll have to get the details worked out first...

I think it's a good idea :thumbsup:
Specially because 1)everyone in kaillera is playing king of fighters or whatever fighting game is currently the last emulated fighting game so that i never find anyone that wants to play tmnt 2)when i do it's so laggy i have to leave

Yeah. A dedicated server should correct the lagging problem... It is said on kaillera homepage that server should have fast connection... and that adsl or canle are not recommended...
