Not really. If Volume 4 was drawn like that, it would seriously detract from the tone and pace of Pete's story-telling.

Most people don't realize this, but the visual art in a comic medium cannot be viewed independently of the other elements that make up the book --- story, lettering, mood, tones, etc.

The visual art exists to express and give life to the story. If it doesn't flow with the pace and feel of the story, then it doesn't matter how aesthetically pleasing it is. It would have failed its stated purpose.

i dont know i like vol 4 as is i was just saying that the art in tales is really good. i like how its alittle diferent art style everytime keeps it fresh, but i dont really want to tamper with petes vision for vol 4s look

Now that is one gorgeous piece of work.

I've always liked Eric Talbot's art, and now I'm filled with an urge to see him working on more TMNT projects in the near future.

Does anyone know if there's a copy of the coloured version online, or if he's got the print available to order anywhere...?

That's awesome. Maybe you should put it in fan works. That is if you want to show it off more. But then you may not feel that would be appropriate since you didn't draw it or for other reasons. But yeah, nice work and that's a nice choice of colours

I hardly put enough work into it. Since the image was already shaded, all I had to do was change the hue and saturation of each 'section'. It looks nice, but it wasn't much work. :P
