Raphael, all black?? What is that about?

A friend at work asked me something:
Raphael was all black in a issue (cant pinpoint an issue or series/run even) where Raph was all black thru the entire thing, and he wasnt in shadow or anything, nor was it explained in that particular issue.

anyone have any clue what that was all about and what issue it was?

yes
he's worn his black costume a few times..it's from the archie comics run...
he got the costume from an intergalactic wrestling match and he decided he liked it so much and wanted to be so differnt from his brothers that he kept it and had worn it for awhile...

your welcome :) and that's cool it's very fun trying to find all of the tmnt books just when you think you have them all there always seems to be more lurking some where lol....
I always wanted an action figure of that black raph though.
