Future Turtles

Hey there Archie fans.... just a couple questions about the Future Turtles and what happened and were the comic left off. And in case anybody's interested in why.... its for a fan fiction i'm planning on writing. (Also : I'm only interested in the Archie Comics story line of things)

Did any of Ninja Turtles die?
Who killed The Mighty Mutanimals?
Does Anybody have pictures of all four Future Turtles?
Where did the story end?
Is Shredder dead in the Future?
Did the Turtles Kill whoever Killed the Mighty Mutanimals?
What Year was it in this Future?

If I could get some anwsers to some or all of these questions it would be a great help in the progression of my Fan-Fic. Thanks Guys and Gals!

Yep, the cybords were killed and Maliga and her minions plunged into the sun.

Future leo was mostly unchanged. In the Cyber Samauri storyline, he and his students wore black jackets (his student being trainee ninjas). Mikie was pretty much the same, too. Raph had the patch, the cap, sword holsters, etc. Don had the purple coat.

Hope they help! As I recall, you said you can tell what Raph and Don look like by the pages and covers found on ninjaturtles.com at the link I gave you last week. Those are Mike and Leo. We don't see them as much as Raph and Don. However, they are in a few other issues where they only have their belts, just like the current turtles, so there isn't much to it - black training outfit for Leo, and whatever silly shirts Mike wants to wear, lol.

..it's sad I really wish till this day the archie line hadn't ended it will forever be my fave turtle comic....photobucket shrunk my images down but if you save them they should be the right size i think anyways...

btw yes I agree I'd really love to see the archie future turtles end up in the new show....and I'd also like to see manx and armaggon peter owns him so I don't see what the big deal would be ..and if anyone says he's so goofy I'll slap them because he most certanly isn't and would fit in the show just as well if not better then some of the stuff we've been given.

Not too sure off the top of my head, but you have to figure the ocean had to have risen, splinter was long dead, and April's great (great great?) grand daughter is a student of Leo's.

haha, if april had a great granddaughter, its be more like 60 or 70 years later, PLUS with the oceans rising. id estimate a flat 100 years. but if it says so somewhere, someone can interject.

Turtles age differently than mammals. In the Future Shark Trilogy, Future Raph warns his younger counterpart about problems involving their relationship with Ninjara. Young Raph makes a snide remark about how "even if Ninjara does decide to spend the rest of her life with me... i'll outlive her by about 400 years." So I think the writers were establishing that the TMNT will live to be at least 500 years old.

According to TMNTA #62, they lived in the year 2094, so they indeed were a hundred years in the future, making the turtles anything from 115 to 120 years old, and still in the prime of their lives (even though they did look older).

Also, considering the large lifespan of normal turtles (who can live up to 160 years without really aging) and the fact that they are evolved "superturtles", with a mixture of human DNA, it makes sense that they lived that long. On the other hand, said mixture would actually shorten Splinter's lifespan, since rats don't really live all that long. He'd life longer than any rat, sure, but less than regular humans.

That's the Image comics where Splinter turns into a bat for awhile, and Raph also loses an eye. They're discussing the Archie comics here. :)

Seriously though, the future Ninja Turtles were very interesting to learn about. I wish Mike and Leo could've interacted more often with their teenaged selves just like their brothers had.
