The voices that come to mind...

[Jarrah White]

Here's an interesting question that's crossed my mind; when you read the turtle comics, Mirage, Dreamwave, Archie, Image or whatever, when reading the character's quotes which voice comes to your mind? The movie voices, the NM voices, new toon voices, classic?

Me, when ever I read comics (Even when they are the Archie comics) I always imagine the new toon voices.

Interesting topic. I'd say 2003 voices since I've only read mirage and DW ones (I'd probably imagine old toon ones for archie). Plus the 2003 voices are my favourite out of all the incarnations

[Barkworm]

2003 voices, except Mikey's voice they suit the characters very well. Nevertheless I thnk of a quiter and less annoying version of Mike's voice.

[Sanjuro]

2003 Show - Leonardo

2003 Show - Mikey

Josh Pais from TMNT 1 - Raph

Corey Feldman from TMNT 1 - Don

Original cartoon - Splinter

It really depends on what you're reading. Reading the old Mirage series, I sometimes tend to imagine themwith the movie voices while in the current comic book, I imagine them with the voices from the Fox Box series.

If you read the Archie series, then you're always going to imagine them with the voices from the original cartoon series while the Dreamwave series of coarse utalises the TMNT from the new Fox Box show.

the toon or the first mvie, those were the best

Which toon?

[Buslady]

First movie voices, cause I've seen it so damn much! Sometimes my mind will switch from Frankson's Raph with Pais's Raph though, depending on my mood...I love em both!

Hee. None.

I use my 'quiet voice' when I read comics --- no verbalizing going on at all. Not even in my mind.

Laterz. :P

[Jephael]

In that case, you must see the Mirage comics as a silent film kind of genre.

[heretic888]

Nope. I just don't verbalize when I'm reading comics.

For me it's:

Leonardo--80s toon
Donatello--80s toon
Michaelangelo--80s toon
Raphael--new toon
April--80s toon
Splinter--Movie 1, 2
Casey--Movie 1, 3
Shredder--80s toon
