So does anyone here like Power Rangers ?
I've seen every episode since it started, I thought it was a bit of a turtles knockoff at first with the martial arts thing but now it's probably my favourite show. It started off really cheap and cheesy with MMPR but it's gradually improved over the years up to Time Force.

In case you didn't know the 10th anniversary episode of Power Rangers called "Forever Red" airs tomorrow on ABC Family if you live in the US. You can also download it through various file sharing programs or the PowerRangersNetwork site (since it was on ABC last week).
Even if you don't like PR this episode is all US footage and has got some cool Matrix style effects. If you've seen some of the older seasons then it will be quite cool since every red ranger ever are in the episode. Also some of the original rangers from MMPR come back to do the voices of the villains (who use the suits from the Beetleborgs).

anyways, yeah i was a fan of the mmpr, my best friend got me into it, watched it after school while i did my homework, liked it for a while, but then realized how crappy it was, and the toys were. I'm sorry, but could u mind not posting about this crap it hurts my eyes lol :roll:
anywho welcome jason... is your name from that original power ranger? gotta say tmnt so outdoes the power rangers anyday...
I mean a dead person could act better than people in thta show, they were terrible, my dad would always make fun of them... he likes the tmnt though, maybe because it wasn't a big scam to take your $$ when it started out, and at least has a good plot and storyline backing up that awesome imagination of peter laird and kevin eastman.

Well I cant believe anyone taking Power Rangers seriously! I always watched it with friends and laughed hysterically! It was a good joke.

The only power rangers that were good (if you could call it that) was the first series Mighty Morphin.

I liked the theme song of the power rangers. I haven't seen the show in forever so I don't know if they changed it or not.... :roll:

Well, I kinda like Power Rangers, but definitely not in the same way as I love the Turtles. It's "watchable" for me, but then again, just about everything is. It's silly and cheesy, I don't take the show seriously and it's kinda entertaining in a "B-movie" type of way. :P

I haven't seen the power rangers in sooooo long.....I kinda stoped watching them after all the original characters droped out. Yes, it was cheesy, but I was young and suffering a major lack of after school toons. It's kinda hard for me to watch them now...maybe better graphics, but the same concept time after time........from mighty morphin to time force. 8)

I only liked the original series, mighty morphin power rangers...and the first movie, but that's about it.
Masked rider was a life-sized cockroach.

i've only enjoyed the MM version. well, it kinda sucked because the characters changed and such and it got kinda boring. that's why you stick with gundam!!

Ah gundam...i've seen gundam wing in CN and it isn't the kinda show i like :ohwell: btw kingkapong, maybe you know this already but there's a new gundam series!It's airing in japan it's called gundam seed...some groups in irc are already fansubbing it..

Oh yah the only 2 episodes of power rangers i could stand of pr in space was the pr & tmnt ones, but besides those the series seemed pretty boring to me.

Power Rangers In Space was the season where they did the Ninja Turtles crossover. It was cool seeing two of my favourite shows do a crossover but it was kind of a disappointment. For example why on earth were the Power Rangers (with all their weapons and stuff) running away scared from the Ninja Turtles ?

Strangely enough, despite the fact that I can't stand the PR and have never sat down and watched an episode, They've shown up in my dreams twice in the last couple of weeks. This has to be some sort of freaky sign. :dead:

The Power Rangers knew who the Ninja Turtles were, and visa versa. The PR didn't get scared of the turtles at first, and the turtles took over their ship by surprise. They really didn't have any way to fight that.

Plus, they had just watched the Ninja Turtles kick a monster's butt into next week, when they couldn't even make a scratch. And the important thing is that the Turtles managed to beat the Power Rangers and the bad guys, proving once again, they are the best, no contest.

After thinking about it I realised that the Ninja Turtles showed up right at the start of the series just after the Power Rangers got their new powers.
The Ninja Turtles were around for several years and were probably more experienced, which probably explained why they were able to easily beat the monster that was beating up the Power Rangers and then go on
to capture the rangers themselves.
I think that's good explanation (or excuse) as to why the Power Rangers appeared so useless in that episode :sick: - the rest of the time they are cool.

Dude!! I watched the ep "Forever Red" and was hit by all kinds of odd nostalgia. Ah, I loved the old days of PR... After that, I didn't care much for the show any more.

Miss the old Rangers, MMpR was indead the best though it would help if they didn't use so muck Stock footage. Green and Drabgon Zord were always my favorite, to bvad he kept gettin the short end of the stick. Loved the TMNT/PRS crossover just so I could say the Turtles could beat the crap out of them. Forever Red was nastalja overload for me, still slighty nbothers me how they got Jason in there but oh well. Still a good show. All ways reminded me of Godzilla in a way

I used to like MMPR as a kid, and one of my favorite eps was the one where they fought a turtle monster who had a stoplight attatched to its shell. The red light produced a ray that could paralize people, and for some dumbass reason, the green light made one of the rangers run in place (the yellow light wasn't used though).

But the best part in that ep was when the monster was enlarged and he actually said "Lets see those Teenaged Mutant Ninjas grow like this!" which was the first TMNT Spotting they ever did on that show.

saw teh season endings of season 2(MMPR Thunder), 3 (MMPR Ninja), 4 (Zeo), 5(Turbo), and 10 (Wild Force) today. Plan on seeing 6-9 tommarrow on ABC Famliy. I can'y help but wonder how seaon 1 ended

anyway Wild Force is over, and the ending gave me mixed emotions, on the one side it appeared that the bad guys would win, which was good and we got to see other wild zords. But the end (what happened to each human) for the most part sucked except for Merik, who has Zen-aku following him for the rest of his life, protecting him, it was a nice touch, if not weird.

1 season left till its finally over, yeah right they saw that every year, yeah we got some sneak peak, the wild force one was much better.

sorry it was on and a lot of the other stuff was crap so I watched them all off and on
