I've found a 2nd version of the Next Mutation boxart on the DVDsource site. Here are the 2 different versions.

I'm not sure which one is the final version. I do think the 2nd one is a huge improvement on the rainbow version. I guess it doesn't really matter though - either way the contents inside will still be trash. :lol:

Such a terrible thing in TMNT's history... the next muatation days never happened in my mind they were just the worst! It was even worse than those bonus episodes on the season 1 DVD. Maybe someday they will make a TMNT 4 better than the 3rd too. If I were rich I would make a Rated R version TMNT 4 but only time will tell... :D Ive had a lot of ideas if I would make a 4.

Such a terrible thing in TMNT's history... the next muatation days never happened in my mind they were just the worst! It was even worse than those bonus episodes on the season 1 DVD. those pictures arrn't anything special hell who knows if those are even the covers for real because both of those images were made for the show as advertisments back when the show was still on.
we all know the god damn show Freakin' sucks allready so you don't have to come into every god damned thread and say it it's really annoying.

As for this being a crappy moment in TMNT history, I'll buy it anyway. I think this series was better than the third film. At least the animatronics were better. Just chalk it up with the Image comic book series. Which I enjoyed, too.

And, for the record, I don't know if TNM sucked because I only saw it when it first aired and I don't remember it very much.

It's not like we can change the past and make Next Mutation disappear from TMNT history! We've got it, we're stuck with it, it's always gonna be there. To sum it all up in a sentence:
Those against Next Mutation need to tolerate that it does exist and don't have to like it yet should be considerate to the people who appreciate it's existence.

Hey, just relax. Think of it like this: The TMNT decided to have fun and make some home movies. They gathered a weird cast of characters and dressed them up and filmed a bunch of episodes. They released it to the public as a joke and just for the hell of it.
So, in that case, it's not really in continuity as the turtles did this to have a go at a personal movie project. Kind of like Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat games. Turtles made a movie loosely based on their lives.
How's that?

I agree lol not just in this thread though but in many others it still continues...even if you don't like the show and have opinions about it thats fine and fun and all that but....a few of us liked a few things about the show...and i for one still do...so please keep them as opinions ans not bashing...cause I don't know it just seems kinda ignorant to bash the turtles no matter what part of the tmnt universe there from.
the turtles are the turtles to me and they always will be.

I didnt like this show and Im surprised it came to DVD. But its good its on DVD! Now people can see why things like Ninja turtles shouldnt be live action. I thought The "new" weapons the turtles had were lame and stupid and Venus looked like Leo in drag (http://www.tgcrossroads.org/images/news/wachowski_larry.gif) not to mention it has the worst theme song (http://www.ninjaturtles.com/sounds/nttnm.wav) out of any of the shows. It was just like wow what was Laird on when he approved of this show

Actually, if I remember correctly, Laird & Eastman had almost no control or say on this show. I think it's quite a shame they didn't make a second season; I've heard it was to mark the return of Casey and April, as well as Rat King. And something about the FBI/CIA or whatever as the villians.

The producers were idiots for wasting the only season they had on original characters, noone cared about Bonesteel, Vam-Mi, or Venus, and Dragon Lord was a bad rip-off of a Power Rangers Villian
To draw in a fanbase (a real one), they had to use established characters, and it did'nt happen
