Episode(s) where the bad guys win

Do you remember if there is any episode where the villains (Shredder and co or any other stupid scientist) actually win (or kinda) at the end?
I know that TMNT is definitely a show where villains are destined to lose, but there are always exceptions.

I can recall only one, in season3...maybe 2 with extrapolation.

Good call. Maybe we can also say that for the following episode Big Break In, when Krang returns the Technodrome to its normal size.

I don't think that they ever win completely/overall but they do have small victories.

And what about "The Shredder is Splintered" ? It's funny because Shredder obviously loses, and complains when he finds out he's stuck in Dimension X, but Krang is actually happy and sniggers, looking at his home Dimension...

But this feeling of his about Dimension X will not last.. I never understood Krang on that point. When he could conquer Dimension X once again, he spent time finding a way to get back to Earth, and when he's finally ready to take over the 'miserable planet' (Shredder Triumphant), he works on conquering Dimension X.... He's too eager.

Well in the shot run, when the t-drome was repowered in Big Ripp off and when the t-drome was returned to normal hieght in the big break in, they won( only in the short run), but I heard that the t-drome got sent to dimension X in the big blow out. I WISH I COULD SEE THE BIG TRIOLOGY ONCE AGAIN AND I BARLEY REMEMBER THE BIG BLOW OUT AND REMEMBER THE BIG BREAK IN MOST WELL. Baxter and shredder kind of won in the end of incredible shrinking turtles because they got away with the fragment.

Shredder and Baxter managed to escape with EVERY fragment, at the end of several episodes, that was the whole point of the "Eye of Zarnoth" saga

My thoughts exactly I could never understand too. But most cartoon villians want to conquer the world. Maybe kRang got interested in conquering EArth as time went on, Too remember in Shredder and splintered krang was happy, during when the T-drome was floating near a firey pit surrounded by billions of rock soilders waving, about being in Dimension X, laughing happily, and saying at last I can conquer my own planet and In dimension X I am absolute master you will do my bidding from now on. Maybe he started getting interested in conquering Earth during the time he sent shredder back to earth and or before that (since in the 5 parter he wanted to bring the stone warriors into Earth to crush it) and maybe after conquering EArth would want to conquer Dimension X as well, or maybe got tired of Dimension X (and was further mad that he was banished). In Return of the fly Krang mentioned ruling the earth again when Shreddder asked for bebop and rocksteady after baxter's divise failed in the twin towwers thing, when Shredder said my miserable excuse for an assitant messed up and KRang said enough, the turtles must be destroyed before we begin our conquest of earth.

Depends what you mean by "win"... and which continuity you're talking...so far everything mentioned seems to be originals series (if you meant only the original, sorry I missed the comment saying so ^^; )

They succeed sometimes--in TMNT1 the Foot invade/overrun the lair and Splinter gets kidnapped (why is he so FRAIL in that?? I like the new series version...in the movies he doesn't look like he could teacher anyone ninjitsu unless it was vocally), in TMNT3 Mikey gets knocked out and kidnapped (albiet, not by the badguys), in the new series, in the new series Mikey's ankle gets busted up and the guys have to retreat due to overwhemling odds against them. (That's probably the best example).

I remember in "April Fool" Shredder and the mutants were trying to steal the Lidium 90 sample from that embassy, and they actually succeeded since the turtles were busy trying to rescue April. Leo was pretty pissed when he realized Shredder beat them, but then Don explained how the Lidium 90 would burst under pressures like that several hundred miles below the surface. Sure enough, the ruby exploded the moment it was in Krang's hands. Therefore, I'd say it was a more ironic victory.
