Brown Wolvie look really ool, but I really don't ned another Wolverine figure. Juggeranut is ****ing amazing looking.
I'm gonna get 'em. I need to fill the space on my wall. Does anybody know which figs, if any, have wall mountable displays? Some of the MLs advertise it but have no place to hang them. If Juggernaut looks half as bad-ass as Colossus then I'm definitely forking over the money for it--even if I need the cash for something else. Does anyone have a pic of Juggie? I love the fact he's a hero now in the book.

Head over to http://www.action-figure.com for all your action figure pic needs.
Thanks, Elite5!
Damn, Juggernaut is B-A-D-A-S-S!! *salivates*
And Vision and Hawkeye are pretty darn cool, too.

I just hope that Pheonix isn't TOO hard to find. Some of those chase figures are just a little too difficult to get your hands on. I"ve never seen a goliath, Red Skull, or any of those after a year at TRU.
Odd, Toys R' Us usually has the Legends lines in abundance--well, in MY area anyway. Target may have them, too.

Those are SUPER hard to find chase figs, atleast i know Red Skull is. A bundle with a Doombot and Red Skull went for like 70 or 80 $ on eBay.

Not any more. Walmart ordered cases for endcaps (similar to those for the TMNT DVD figures) that included multiple Red Skulls and Doombots. But there seems to be 2 types of cases, one with Doom and one with Red.

Here's what seems to be the case pack for ML6 according to someone from fwooshnet who ordered a case.....It's not good, not good at all. :(
1 x Phoenix
1 x Deadpool
2 x Juggernaut
2 x Cable
3 x Brown Wolverine
3 x Movie Punisher
My biggest fear.....Deadpool is shortpacked.

1. Because there's no more GD.
2. Because members here also collect ML.
3. This is a toy forum, it's close enough.
'Cause it's fun fun fun.
Hey, wouldn't it be cool if they released TMNT figs in that style? You know, articulated and mega-detailed? Kind of like those Star Wars figs. Can you imagine a Raph with a really ugly scowl and real metallic sais? Or a Casey with an awesome removable mask and real cloth pants or something?
Damn...

Yes, that would be a dream come ture. And if they did do that, I'd want 'em to be Mirage based.
Oh, definitely Mirage-based. They could even call the toyline TMNT Classic. I think they could also use the Spawn idea by making the figs look like certain artwork by certain artists. I was thinking of a Simon Bisley Raph and an Eastman & Laird Casey.

Marvel Legends are just now hitting along with the box sets so it might be a while for some parts of the country. And the case ratio has been known for a while supposedly Dark Phoenix and Old School Cable will be easier to find than the previous chases but I knida doubt it.
As far as TMNT goes, I'd kill for a line like this for this license but not anything McFarlane esque. His statues aren't worth paying for.

Just picked up Black Costume Spidey, Tentacle attack Dock ock and not marvel legends related but arcee from the transformers energon.
I saw like 3 cyclops (supposedly he's hard to find, i disagree, archangel was much harder to find) and 1 ultimate rhino today as well. I have both already so I passed (i'm no scalper).
I still haven't found either of the hulk classics villains however.
From the Marvel Legends Series VI reviews, it seems like Wolverine is really bad ass!! I'm so happy, this is the figure I'm looking forward to most. I don't think Deadpool is shortpacked. If I had to guess it's probably something like this:
Wolverine x3
Cable x2
Deadpool x2
Phoenix x1 (dark phoenix is a chase of course)
Juggernaut x2
Punisher x1 (like blade, punisher'll probably be shortpacked, and like Blade he'll be easier to find than phoenix because scalpers will eat up phoenix for obvious reasons and leave punisher becuase the movie sucked)
I could be wrong, but if it follows the previous waves this is probably really close. I think they have the actual case ratios at www.action-figure.com or www.toynewsi.com, but I really don't care. All I know is I want the figures and I'll get them one way or another.
Happy hunting guys!

Blade WAS hard to find but I've seen tons of them at Wal-Mart lately. X-men legnds you can probably find on clearence at your wal-mart for 10 or 15 bucks. Punisher is a peg warmer, so you won't have a problem finding him. Weapon X Wolverine will be just as detailed and articulated as other ML's.

Blade would be the hardest but if you go to K-Mart they have plenty.
Weapon X will be the same as the rest with lots of articulation, detail (with all the wiring and crap) and I believe even an extra head.

ha.... who revived this....i was gonna let it die since there was the "ML 6" thread.....but ok.....yeah i've not seen to many blades in recent days....but he wasn't a hard find....the x-men 5 packs are all over the place at wal*marts here....i picked one up for rogue and the alternate wolvie and magneto...and beast with lab coat and glasses....and weapon x wolvie is in wave 7...and he'll be a legend so he'll have mad articulation and detail like they've all said....i might pass him over thought.....i do have 3 wolvies already....reasons i should buy him anyone??? and no i'm not a completest....obviously....so that argument flounders....althought now that i think about it....i dfo have almost all the marvel legends stuff.....except wave 1 hulk and toad and the urban legends box set.....oh well.... :P
EDIT: I've got friends @ TRU!!!!! a guy at tru collects marvel legends too and he saved me a phoenix....we talk toys a bit.....it's cool....now if only i can find dead pool....

Starscream
09-04-2004, 05:43 PM
Galactus is too big for them to make. I think they wanted to do a sentinel but it was shot down by distibutors. As far as Avalanche goes, there's a small chance but I imagine his Freedom Force pal Pyro has a much better chance as he was supposed to be in the now cancelled X-Men Classic Series 2.

Toybiz really oughta make another figure besides Dr. Doom for Marvel Legends. It would be rad if they made Galactius though.Hey maybe they could make like a 20 inch one.Just an idea. :goofygri:I think Toybiz should make more Fantastic Four villians for Marvel Legends.Maybe they could do Moleman.
They should make a Thanos fig with the Infinity Gauntlet.

I just picked up a Series VI brown costume Wolverine. He's pretty bad ass, and is a great representation of the Frank Miller story (even though it comes with an uncanny x-men issue, I mean he comes with his sword and master and all that junk, it's so obviously Frank Miller's Wolverine). First time I saw the figures at retail at a decent price (toysrus price) so I went ahead and picked it up. He's awesome, great addition to my Marvel Legends collection, which I think is about to die pretty soon, way too much stuff coming out and I just can't/don't want to afford it anymore. Plus they keep pissing me off with chase figures. I remember when they said they were going to make chase figuers a lot easier to find for collectors. I wouldn't have a problem if they kept the chases less-articulated repaints of lesser known characters like Giant Man and Red skull etc... but now they're taking brand new molds of awesome super posable characters that everyone loves (like deadpool and phoenix) and making them even harder to find than before. I hate toybiz.

I think you mean Blade, Nick Fury was always in full supply, I can still find Nick on the shelves, Blade was a bit harder to find at first, so maybe you're right, maybe they will go down, but not much I'm sure. Blade you could get away with since the movie was the only thing he really has, his comics never did very well. Phoenix and Deadpool are both iconic marvel characters, and a state was named after one of them! j/k

Dark Phoenix and Brown Cable are chases. From all the sightings I've read they actually are a little bit more easier to find than chases in other series.
Phoenix and Cable are one per case. However in the odd instance I've heard that Phoenix hasn't popped up but instead an extra Wolverine. But like I said it was an odd occurrence, something I haven;t heard much of.
Nick Fury was one per case when ML5 started shipping. Maybe they packed more of him later on but he was most definitely one per when they first started to hit stores.

Urgh. I meant Deadpool. I don't know why I typed Cable after stating otherwise in this very thread.
Okay let's break it down for everyone who still doesn't get it.
Wolverine - 3
Punisher - 3
Juggernaut - 2
Cable - 2
Deadpool - 1
Phoenix - 1
12 figures - one case.
As far as the variants go, I believe they replace the more common paint variation in the case but I could be wrong.
Interesting.
And to think all I do is go to the store and pick up what I like with no thoughts about cases and paintings and variations. Silly me.
