Oh, I'd read that there would be a sequel if the last one was a success, I didn't realise a trilogy was planned (if that was the original idea)
Well, I'm in, just hope they aren't too rushed though.

I actually really liked the last one, and I hate all the Halloween movies except maybe "Resurrection," which was funny at least.

newfan 07-19-2019 03:18 PM

I remember not being sure in the start but by the end I did like it and was interested to see where they would go in a sequel, given how the former sequels were a little all over the place. I wonder what the story for him will be, so far as the supernatural element I mean. If they explain it. It took a while before they approached it previously, seen as he kept not dying and was very strong.

Im hyped but the titles are pretty bad.

Sumac 07-19-2019 08:11 PM

Will it be reboot of the remake of the sequel of the rebooted sequel, which is remake of the reboot of the sequel of the remake?

Michael Myers will return in: Halloween Kills & Halloween Kills Again... In Space!

DarkFell 07-20-2019 11:37 PM

^ I wonder if he'll also 'meet' up with the Pigs in Space.

And oh goody.. Michael Myers survived another thing. I figured that he would be back on the big screen.

They had the chance to end on a high note with H20, but the greed got to them and they kept adding more subpar films to the franchise. I hope it's not just greed driving the new people in charge this time. Those titles sound pretty b-movie-ish though. Did they get the people behind the "Machete" sequels to come up with them?

Andrew NDB 10-14-2021 11:36 PM

Saw Halloween Kills. Good. Almost as good as the last one from 2018, which I REALLY enjoyed.

This one even did some tricks to "save" some footage from the original H2.

Ill check it out once I re-binge everything previously lol.

You don't need to rebinge much. Just the original Halloween and then the 2018 Halloween. Then you're all caught up because everything else was thrown out.

I've re-watched some of the Halloween movies recently as the first 5 are up on Netflix (I think it's just the 5 anyway). I'm supposed to be going with my sisters to watch this one (as we did the last), just gotta sort out when.

ssjup81 10-15-2021 01:44 PM

So, when they say the third film in the trilogy is "Halloween Ends", does that mean that it will actually end this time? Yeah, I went to the theater to watch the 2018 version (just like I did H2O back in the day), but seriously...they need to find an actual conclusion to this craziness for Jamie's character. lol
Poor Laurie. She'll never be sane. ><

The original 1978 Halloween is on Netflix? I'd been looking for that for a while to rewatch. Definitely going to check that out.

None of them are, or on Prime, last I looked. Probably just in the UK.

I watched it and it was good, or at least Michael was. He was a beast in this while most of the rest of the characters were very meh. The last 10 minutes were pretty epic though! Certainly can’t wait to see how they end this.

They won't, of course. But the hope is that they at least definitively kill off Michael. Which is probably hoping for a lot.

You’re most likely correct but they definitely need to kill him off. And they better not cheapen the whole thing by killing him off only to have someone take the mantle of Michael Myers just to continue it! My guess is that’s exactly what they will do.

If the movies do well, you know the Studio will want to do another one.
