Playmates statues or first sideshow statues
 

Looking to buy all four of the original playmates cold cast statues, as well as the original four sideshow statues that were released, preferably the versions with optional color headbands.

I have the Sideshow Shredder statue. I could do $600 shipped on that.

I think I also have the Sideshow Donnie exclusive. I'd have to do more research on the price, but PM me if interested.

Yeah Donnie goes for at least $2,000 and Raphael goes for close to $1,000.

I don't feel like I'd sell my full set for under $4,000 but I probably won't sell them at all. I know I'd regret it.

I thought they'd go for more. Not that $3500 is insignificant, especially since the statues originally sold for $100 each, but there are so few of these out there that I expected them to go for more.

I've been looking for Ralphs Playmates statue. In spring of 2019 one on ebay in the box went for $675 complete in box, no damages. Wish I tried for that at the time. There was another one then no box, but his ground base had like a can or something broken off. Almost thought about that one. If I could ever nail Ralph, I'd be content with 3 of the 4 statues. Don is way too much now.

i remember when each one was 2-5k back before nick went nuts on licensing agreements, my collection lost so much value from that :(

Do you still have the sideshow statues? Is it a full set?

I have them but only the red headband ones, i only have donnie and ralph color versions.

when things get significantly rare while having even a half decent demand two things occur: A. its value grows significantly and B. a large bell curve appears in it's actual going rate.

Not many people are looking for it because they don't know it exists, its price is way out of their price range, or they don't bother looking because it's so rare. Ultimately these things mean when one DOES finally show up for sale it's a crapshoot for how many people will want it and can actually afford it at the moment
