I've heard you talking about Shonen Knife quite a few times now. Are they a Japanese band? What kind of music do they make?

They're Japanese. Their name translates to "Boy knife", or a knife ment for boys. They make strange punk music. Not about government, oh no. About getting fat from eating cake, about spending too much money, and about jelly beans. They're great. If I EVER have the chance, I'm seeing them live.
